Oh blimey, mucho umbrage taken already. And they haven't even got on to politics yet!

I'm delighted to know that Snape's alive; I'm happy to offer some physiotherapy for his shoulder (not that I know anything at all about physiotherapy, but I'm willing to learn).

You know, your account completely fits with my view of what would really have happened - the way Ron finally decided he couldn't live in his wife's shadow like that. I'm sure this would have been the case - WHY would Ron, a chap who was highly and humiliatingly conscious of what he lacked in comparison with his brothers and sister - then go and consolidate his inferiority complex by marrying a woman far, far more intelligent than him? It seems quite unlikely to me.

Either than or Hermione would just lose her rag with him and alienate him with some cutting remark.

Anyway, hope Narcissa's happy there in Canada - bring on the bickering passion!

    This is excellent LaBib!

I had to laugh. She tells him so casually that they met once in the Department of Mysteries,

    Chapter 2

Hehe! I love how Lucious can't remember Hermione at first. It somehow makes sense that despite her import in the actual stories, she would merely be another annoying brat to him.

"Moving around in the dark may pitch us into a ravine or a cow pie." Yes...wouldn't want to walk into cow poop during the night. It might ruin a perfectly good pair of shoes!

Gah! Where are they?! I think that they've gone back in time. This would create an interesting temporal loop situation... Why is it that no one ever knew (or said) what that silly veil was? So where are they? What will the morning light reveal? How will they get back to their own time (if they can...)? And how will this Master be defeated?

Oh! Maybe they've ended up on an alternate Earth...

Ok, enough conjecture. I look forward to finding out in good time. :)

Ha, yes, didn't want to give anything away with that last review ;).

Ah, I did love the idea of them cuddling up for warmth in a field under Lucius' coat. That's very romantic, even if there is no romance so far. Well, kind of romance - the two of them together as strangers in a strange land. And Lucius in full evening dress...I can imagine that all right...

I can't wait to see what the morning will bring!

I like this post-Voldemort take here. Although Hermione and Lucius weren't on the best of terms previously, I feel like that each of them has gone through events which have made them rethink their beliefs and sort of accept the other. Why else would have Lucius saved an unknown girl, whom he considered a witch and taken her through the Veil? And they didn't hex or curse at each other when they found out each other identities. It was a very mature reacquiantance between two people on two sides of a spectrum.

    Hmmm...

Now this is an interesting take, Lucius DOESN'T recognise her! What a unique little feature!

Twelve years later, that makes her 29, and him... 52? 55?

I can see Hermione in her business suit - though if those stockings haven't laddered then I want a magical pair too! I'm forever getting holes in mine!

Lucius is impeccably dressed - how odd! Haven't they got into the manor yet? Or is he just transfiguring riches? Though, at the end of the day, the richer of the two will be the one to find them food and safe drinking water (food is out of laws of magic or something like that) and then get them shelter and safety. Pretty robes make good fuel for a fire, regardless of the clothes-horse who wears them. Not to mention personal hygiene - scourgify can't be a pleasurable experience, poor Lucius won't have any conditioner for his hair! lol! (I can imagine him with frizz! lol!).

Hermione is too kind for her own good, and it is worrying. Humans will do ANYTHING to survive, even if that is to kill - is Hermione perhaps more than human??

    11/10
