    Just glad you're still writing.

Interesting concept with the closer to the spell the stronger reaction to it. At first reading about Mrs. Granger's memories leaking through I thought maybe she was actually of minute magic herself and somehow subconsciously trying to fight it but your way works better with how Obliviates seem to work on magical and muggle the same (unless one's an Occlumens, but then that's another kettle of fish isn't it?).

Look forward to seeing how they take their returned memories upon waking. Poor Severus.

    Hopefully things work out.

    Thanks so much for writing.

Maybe... maybe the soulbond healed Severus that way too. And maybe Lucius' did the same for him as well. We can't know... for his testing was done before his soulbond obviously.

As for there being heartbreak before happiness for Lucius and Fleur... it makes me wonder WHOSE heartbreak. To me it seems Lucius is already experiencing heartbreak, and I would think Fleur is experiencing both heartbreak and a tearing in two directions between her husband and her soulmate. Of course Bill's heartbreak could be considered inevitable should anything come forward for the soulbonded pair. I still keep thinking there is a chance Fleur's baby is Lucius' as it is not unheard of for a zygote to be flushed out for whatever reason when another is formed and attaches... and that's not taking into account the strange and powerful magic of soulbonding. Then there is in my thoughts a chance that BILL might find a mate elsewhere... and while Fleur does (sort of) have Lucius she does love them both so while there would likely be some relief at resolution that could be heartbreak too. :sighs: I'll just have to wait and see if any of my theories come close.

    I hope Kingsley is okay...

I wonder when we will discover who was polyjuiced as Ginny and Blaize. I can't imagine it really being Blaize... Where does Pansy stand, I wonder? I can't imagine she would be good at fending off an Imperius even if she does side on the Right. Still trying to figure out how she rated HeadGirl... unless there were not many 8th year girls to return. We certainly haven't Heard of any... :blinks: just her and Hermione. huh.

    Thanks so much for writing.

    Howdy!
I wanted to let you know how much I've been enjoying your story. Your characters are fabulously defined and working well in their personalities, with great character development. The story is progressing along a logical and easy to read path, that manages to stay interesting and doesn't bore. I would think that the speed with which the story is rushing along, as well as the many things your characters are up to, definitely keeps you busy! I love the concepts of the Declarations of Intent and the symbolic magic that is so much a part of your story. I look forward to seeing how that works out.
Great story, great characters. I look forward to the next chapter!
    Thank you so much.

Gabrielle with Draco is just too cute. Luna's handling of that exchange made me giggle.
...would a SoulBond override what Voldemort did to Lucius? I would think the magic could, if anything. It did affect the Dark Mark after all.

Thank you for leaving Severus' speech for Slughorn to our imaginations.

It is looking more and more like Yaxley is masquerading as Kingsley. Poor Kingsley... I hope he's okay. Well as okay as he can be being kept for his blood to be used in an advanced polyjuice potion. :sighs: Hopefully we learn more from Arthur, and possibly Pius.

    Thanks so much for writing.

Wow, I ached for him throughout that whole chapter. I really hope Hermione can help him remember some things from his past that aren't horrible. Or, if not, at least they can start to build a plethora of new memories that will erase some of his pain. I am sorry she had to feel his pain, but I am glad she was able to be there for him so quickly. I know a wonderfully long chapter like that one deserves more, but all I can say is thank you! It was painfully perfect. Thank you, HG4eva

I love your take on Slughorn in this chapter. I'm not usually a fan of him myself, but it was nice to envision this... Thoughtful side of him. It was really well done and very moving. Severus gaining respect for him only amplified that.

I like the idea of Severus being a light for Lucius.

Slughorn's take on the inbreeding issue is one of my favorites I've ever read.

    Thanks so much for writing.

What a wonderfully long and juicy chapter! I'm glad Ron chose to do the right thing, and that he's brave enough to take the job of spy.

I would say "and the plot thickens" but it's already like the La Brea tar-pits. Excellent update!
