Reviews for Weasley's Wizard Wheezes

Love it up til the Nigel part. That little gross weasel needs to go. I wish he never came into the story. There is nothing like a beautiful soft woman spread out wantonly next to a beautiful man. The juxtaposition of their opposite forms is so erotic. Nigel just 🤢 blech. The thought of two hard bodies. Why any guy wants that I will never get.

I was introduced to this fic just this week by a long time reader of yours and Wow! I am so glad! Amazing story! I've rarely read a fic with so much crazily imaginative and varied smut with so much more than that going on. I can't wait to see what happens if/when Sev & Hermione talk about what happened earlier. I hope we get more insight into his relationship with Nigel. 15... and S yelling and carrying on about his lovers... there's got to be quite the story there.

I really like your story and I read all chapters in one go.
the only piece that confused me was the part in which the lightning bolt was called, while the shamrock was applied after the lightning bolt and left him with only the small clover as hair.

I'm lookin forward to the next chapter (:

This was *great*!  What a pain Severus is, so Moody and hard to deal with.  Hot, though.  Which I guess is why Hermione hasn't smothered him in his sleep.

All the products you come up with!  I wish we had a shop like that XD.

     Looking forward to lots more!

Thank you! I know how hard the news of his death, hit as all. As you had the great fortune to meet him, it must have been all the harder.

Great to have a new chapter to read, I will re-read from the start, waiting for your next post. PLEASE make it soon. :)

Aaaaaah! You’re back! I’m so excited! I think I first started reading this when you had about seven chapters up, so seeing this update feels like a Christmas miracle :) (And yes, I’m aware yesterday was the first day of Spring, but if the weather insists on snowing, then I get to pretend it’s Christmas.)

I had to go back and skim/read the past few chapters to reacquaint myself with where we left off (I’m surprised how much I remembered), so I couldn’t start reading the new chapter till today. You haven’t lost your touch at all. This chapter was a seamless transition from the last. (Usually when people come back after a long break, their writing has a slightly different tone, but you jumped right into it flawlessly, the same character voices and everything. I’m in awe. Seriously, sometimes I feel like my writing tone changes on a weekly basis, so this seems all the more impressive to me.)

I loved the start of this chapter—the fight with Nigel was great. Great dialogue. Great emotion. Great humor. But also real and heartbreaking. I’m of two minds when it comes to Nigel. The part of me that wants Hermione to wind up with Snape hates him, but there’s obviously something Severus gets out their relationship and I don’t want him to lose whatever that is, so I’m conflicted. Also I kind of just feel bad for Nigel now even though I don’t want him around.

But the most interesting part of the fight for me was when Severus called him out for taking a mile when offered an inch, and complaining about how Nigel was always wanting more than Severus was ready to give. Which sounded just like Hermione, always pushing him in directions he seems reluctant to travel. In some ways I think her forcing more affection from him (and on him) is good for him, but in other ways I find it selfish on Hermione’s part (yet I understand her desire for that aspect of him and always cheer when her softness wins him over). I see how he’s slowly opening up to her, but I wonder if he’d open faster if she wasn’t always pushing him so hard. Maybe the man just needs a chance to process his thoughts and come to terms with how he feels. (Actually, I think he needs to miss her, which she makes impossible. His life might be more peaceful without her in it, but I think if she were gone, he’d mourn the loss. The closest we’ve gotten to that is when she tries to block out her attraction to him (or when she was too sick to do anything) and then we get these glimpses of what he really wants to do when not forced in any direction.)

On the flip side, Hermione’s growing frustration and madness are totally understandable. His lips say one thing, but his actions say another. She seems to be understanding him a little bit more (ever since her last big blow up), but trying to analyze someone like Snape is like trying to play 8 games of chess at once—it’ll just make your brain hurt, and you’ll probably wind up in a padded room. Plus he likes pushing her buttons, so it’s all fraught with even more uncertainty and anger. I can’t believe she hasn’t hexed him through the floor yet.

    My favorite lines:

“he was still a great enigma shrouded in a headache and coated in heartache.”—Hahaha! This is hilariously perfect :)

“Hermione had no handle on her emotions, though the same too could be said for Severus, only in so much as he seemed not to have any upon which to have a handle,”— This is wonderfully insightful, and sums up the situation so well. Love it!

“It was a small thing she could give to him, rather that he allowed her to give to him”—Ugh! The feels. Again, so insightful.

And I loved your hidden quotes this time. I caught a little Sleepy Hollow and Homer J. Simpson. :)

Pleeeeeeease keep this coming! This is one of my favorite stories of all time, and you’re one of my favorite writers. I’m so glad you got your muse back. I feel for your loss of drive after Alan’s death. I think I clung to my writing because it gave me a way to keep him alive and block out reality, but I sometimes it’s still hard to see him in movies. (I still haven’t watched Eye in the Sky even though I have the DVD sitting on my shelf. It feels too final for me.)

I hope you enjoyed writing this chapter as much as I enjoyed reading it, and I just want to thank you so much for all your great stories. <3 <3 <3

I can't count how many times I read those 17 chapters over past 2 years... every time feeling sad that story isn't finished! And I can't tell you how happy I am that you continued to write it! Thank you <3

I do hope that your muse is back to stay and that we will be treated with the next chapter soon.

What an amazing come back ! God i've missed this fanfiction so much.

I really really enjoyed reading this long chapter and i'm so happy that Nigel left (and so hopeful that he will never come back). I love how slightly Severus's behaviour is changing (if i'm not mistaken) and hope it will continue.

I really can't wait to see what happen next ! Please don't make us wait too long.

I'm astonished that Hermione is so intent on having her own way when she's in HIS house.  It's not her house, and she's not even paying rent, yet she acts as if the place is half hers.  She barges into his bedroom, refuses to take "no" for an answer, and acts as if he owes her something.  Personally, I think Snape is being ridiculously patient with her; if she'd come into MY home and treated ME like that, I've have thrown her out again.  Sheesh.

I'm amazed at how creative you are at coming up with strange things for them to test!  That's really quite a wonderfully dirty mind you've got there. :-)
