Lucius' money paves the way for lots of things, doesn't it? ;) Honestly though, I like the contrast between them, the polished Pureblood and the relaxed, casual Muggleborn. I'm glad he showed her some softness and understanding. Its a side rarely seen of Lucius and you write it in a way that he doesn't look like a sissy.

OMG!!!! Squeal!! Does Happy Dance all over room!! You're Back!!!!! There are no words to convey just how much you have been missed! I love your stories and I love how you write my favorite characters!! This knew one is no exception! I love a good romantic mystery and tying these two people together for a romp through their family past sounds absolutely intriguing!! I just know Lucius is going to find out what it feels like to love so deeply that you can't live with out her!! I hope all has been well with you and I just want to say welcome back!! I'm so excited to read your new story!!!

It is wonderful to see you back, milady! It has been awhile since you graced us with a new story. I adore your portrayals of the Slytherin men and have your author's page saved to my favorites. Don't get me wrong, I love your Remus stories too, but the Slytherin Sex Gods are a delight. You have captured the basic nature of the characters very well and I hope to see more of this story and others very soon.

Interesting. I wonder if his inability to feel love had to do with Roman. Is it a curse? Looking forward to finding out. Also, I'm confused about the Malfoy family... Abraxas was Lucius' father, and Orpheus was Lucius' great grandfather, but Roman would have only been around 93 if he had lived (considering that the ring was 75ish years gone from the Malfoy family estate). Considering wizarding life generally ends at about 150 (per Jo Rowling), would this mean that Roman was a much younger son, the product of a second wife, or was he the son of the unnamed grandfather between Orpheus and Abraxas? If Roman was the brother of Abraxas' father, it might explain why he was expendable. The heir and the spare, so to speak, would make him non-essential if the other brother married 'properly'.

Also, did Julianne kill both herself and her baby, or did she give birth and then kill herself? As a single mother who did everything for her child while sporting a very bruised, broken heart, I have a hard time finding sympathy for Julianne's choices. But if there is a line of Granger/Malfoys out in the wizarding world, I wonder if they will try to find this person/family.

Oh thank god you're back! Not only are you remembered, but you've been missed. Thoroughly enjoying this new story and looking forward to the rest of it. Particularly like the little glimpses into Lucius, especially that he realizes he's being an arrogant prat but can't help it.

I am sooooo happy to finally see this posted! I'm intrigued by this whole story. Reading about Hermione's Nana made me tear up a little. My Nan is just as important to me. Not-so-patiently-waiting for more! Look forward to seeing it all unfold.
