I'm so surprised you haven't read Hate and Love, there are so many similarities between our stories. Just throwaway sentences here and there, but all the same. I'm enjoying your story, and it's particularly angsty - fab! Look forward to more AKxo

I agree with you. Theo and Luna are really a good match in this story. I'm glad you included them. Draco could learn a thing or two from Theo couldn't he?

I hope Hermione finds out what happened and helps all the girls in Slytherin. And I like how Theo is treating Luna, being so sweet. Hope he teaches the other animals in that zoo how to behave.

Ok, so! I was scanning through my own reviews on Malevolence and came across your page from that. I freaked out when I saw that you wrote the Wicked stories - I read them before I began writing ff and loved them! I started reading The Dare last night and am up to chapter 7. In a review response to lexiatel you mentioned me and my Draco (: Absolutely loved that! So thank you for letting me get in your head haha.
As I said, I just finished Chapter 7 and still have a bit to go. I'm very intruiged by your Draco, finding him dark and very mysterious. Normally I need to be in Draco's head to appreciate his darkness, but you have managed to construct Draco in a way where that is not needed. It only adds to the mystery that you reveal piece by piece of him and his intentions with each chapter. But with every answer you give us, five more questions follow. It's brilliant and I love it. I will review more as I plough my way through the remaining chapters, but just had to thank you for reviewing my story and writing such a fantastic ff and Dark Draco. AKxx

Is it wrong that I don't think Draco is a complete dick? I think he's cocking up a fair bit, too possessive and somewhat inconsiderate but not an outright dick. I'm hoping that it is, at least in part, due to the fact that he's 16 and has been put under considerable pressure becoming the head of the family (in legal terms) and feeling that he has to defend his choice of partner to any (and most) pure bloods that he and Hermione encounter. I don't doubt that there are some ulterior motives involved and I look forward to finding out exactly what they are but I do hope/feel that there is a genuine affection there too, especially with how passionately he protects Hermione. Maybe I'm just being a hopeless romantic but I do think that he has been making be moves because he maybe doesn't know how to achieve his goals in any other way but hopefully the intention are good......just poorly executed.

Aw that Dirty Dog Lucius inviting Draco's woman to his playpen. Wondering who are attending though.

enjoying the story, but if Hermione is such a smart girl then why hasn't she figured out his angle? its just a bit odd. and not to be rude, but a response more in-depth than a "she's in love" explanation would be grand. thanks

The BDSM scene was good, having het blindfolded and choosing a safe word. I agree Hermione puts up a fight trying not acknowledge this side. But Draco is young how much can he know about the lifestyle? Would live to read how he manages. Would like his pov,how does he see her and feel about her? Hopefully it's dark!

Wow. I had to stop reading. I admit the story is "fun and light-hearted" at first and not really meant to be taken seriously. But it was kind of uncomfortable to have known that Draco basically raped Hermione under the guise of "I love you" and "we are bf/gf so it's okay we have sex" and lying that he didn't know she was a virgin. I feel like he's been lying a lot to her. Is this going to blow up in his face later? It should.

but I thought I'd read a bit more just to see how you'd handle it. And basically, in this chapter, yes the Greengrass sisters were horrible for doing that to Hermione. It was an awful thing to do, but to have Astoria gang-raped by five guys was a bit much in my opinion. Especially because if Draco is 16 right now, that makes Astoria 14. It was just too awful to think about and no matter how horrible she (or her sister was) no one deserves to be raped. I know this a fictional story not to be taken seriously, I know that, but it was just still awful that a mistake she made because she was young and jealous has a lifetime of repercussions for herself. It's just AWFUL to think about. I dislike how "it's because she's a slag it's okay" kind of mentality it's gotten on. No matter how much consensual sex you have with someone or multiple someones, non-consent is still rape.

There are some really great dialogue parts in the story though, ones that I've enjoyed. I enjoyed the conversation on chivalry and I liked the points that were made about it. That it doesn't necessarily take away a woman's power or anything, just shows that the gentleman cares I thought it would've been funny though if it was pointed out Draco (who is the one saying all this) is that chilvalry is a supposed to be a "trait" of Gryffindors. (you know, house traits and all that, except that not all Gryffindors have all the house traits because who does?)

Your story was interesting (the start of the story was unconventional, a bit OOC, but it's okay and it was enjoyable because suspending the belief like that can make lots of stories enjoyable from a different point of view.)I just don't think I like how this story is going because of the raping and the constant lying (and a bit of unprovoked character-bashing just to make the main characters seem better by comparison or the one "in the wrong"). It was interesting to have seen Lavendar pregnant but what Hermione said about abortion being unsafe and likely to kill the woman isn't statistically true. I think it's wonderful to be a person who does not want an abortion under any circumstances, it's your body and your life therefore your decision; but this just seems like a flimsy, unfounded excuse to keep the child.

Again, I want to emphasize that I know this is a fictional story not to be taken seriously, and all in good fun (which it really was in the first chapter) but I feel like it's too much, too soon. So much horrible things and drama-filled things have happened too much over the course of 3-4 days. And I know they are all teenagers but this is some heavy material and it's just awful thinking about the repercussions this will have in their later life, their mental state and the fact that Daphne had to watch her little sister be raped by 5 of her classmates, Astoria having to have been raped, Hermione unknowingly having some sort of dubious consent in someone who she was supposed to trust but who lies to her about it. I just don't know if I can handle the direction of the story anymore. Thank you for writing, thank you for sharing but I'm only leaving tis review because I feel like the repercussions and the weight of everything that has happened isn't quite understood yet. Usually if I don't like a story, I exit out and won't say anything because someone else might enjoy the story and the author doesn't need to hear unnecessary criticism. I hope you know that I am not bashing your story. I really had enjoyed it, even when Draco had sex with Hermione under dubious consent I thought "oh this is interesting to see what comes of this, I guess Draco really has now 'claimed' her in a way." But with the gang rape of a 14 year girl who was carry and acting like a normal 14 year of jealous girl in any muggle circumstance, that's where I draw the line. I'm sorry.
