Reviews for The Daring Win

Sorry for not reviewing this sooner... it's interesting how Harry is questioning everything... which is good... even if I suspect that Delores is a tad worried about for good reason.

That said, I honestly do think hat Harry will likely end up in Sytherin at the rate he's going... that or Ravenclaw. :3

Ahhhh.... Remus. Also, one thing that Delores should consider is that Gillderoy plays a part, it's a cultivated image that he projects. One that has gotten him far and many fans, which translates into money from sale of books.

Hahaha.... A delightful update and yes Delores is hitting the right buttons.

Hahaha... Harry gets a pet cat and Delores is jealous?

    A very interesting idea.

While we obviously do not want the Dolores we are familiar with as Harry's guardian, this Dolores seems a lot more reasonable.

Perhaps Dolores became so unpleasant fighting her way up without Harry and now that she has him she will find that “you can catch more flies with honey that vinegar.”

Also Harry's presence may change Dolores just as much as she hopes to change him.

Looking forward a politically astute Harry with friends in high places will be a much more effective opponent of Voldemort.

Its not often that I'm both horrified and intrigued at the same time.

    Mommy Dearest scenario?

At first glance, this reminds me a lot of another story I read a while back by the name of 'The Secret Technique'. Mostly in the sense of the franchise's protagonist being taken in by an older woman who does it for power/prestige  rather than actually liking the boy. However, looking at the story tags and your writing history, I doubt this will go the same way. While part of me is disappointed, I still find your Dolores's inner monologues delightful and I'm interested in where the story goes anyways.
