I am really glad he was approachable, giving, accepting, and gave in to her. I also LOVED that he said it out loud first. I hope she tells him what is happening, since he deserves to know. I wonder if she can stop thinking and worrying for even a second. All that stress can't possibly be good for the baby-that-won't-be-Voldy. :-) And, I look forward to more soon! Thanks! HG4eva

    Chapter 27

I hope RL calms down. I hope everything is well and you’re just super busy. Kids, job, house, all that stuff takes so much time. Leisure time is a virtue. Make sure you’re taking care of yourself, too.

While the waits have been killing me, I'll take 7-10 days over a month any day of the week. You must take care of you, too. I have two WIPs I’m reading whose authors haven't updated since March. MARCH. But neither of them respond to reviews or PMs, either. So. They may have just died or something and here I'm cursing them for not updating their fan fiction. ;o)

All though, I think FF.N is on the fritz a bit, too. I should probably actually look at the stories, because I’ve had a few ppl PM me that they’re not getting email notifications when I update, and I didn’t get one for yours or OO’s update earlier this week. I was scrolling here, checking for updates when I came across it.

I look forward to your reviews, and will watch for them. I've said it before, I'll say it again, I'm honored you feel my fic worth the read. I'm thrilled with the amped up responses I've been getting. I'm up to about 50 reviews between here and FF.N. It seems that’s pretty good for a first fic with zero followers to begin with. It certainly makes me more eager to write, so I've been getting chapters out 1-2x per week. :o)

    On to this chapter.

Such great word choices that I'll have to file away for later use. Abstruse, inexorable, pinioned, susurrated. My Thesaurus is always open these days. LOL

I liked the symbolism of their union in this chapter. Their coming together to fight a battle with love. I love Hermione took charge and love how Severus responded. I’m confused as to why another reviewer said something about Severus saying “I love you” seemed too soon, because he’s said it before – even if it wasn’t exactly the words. So, I think it worked great.

I’m very excited to see how Snape handles being a Grandfather. Grandpa Severus. Snort. That’s absolutely hilarious. I love this story.

Yeeeeees! I loved this. Hermione's inner turmoil blended with the bonding of their bodies was superb. I love how the sex was kind of like a conversation between them, revealing how they really felt without saying much. But it was also sort of an unspoken pact--them coming together to fight what's to come. They both know their passion might be coerced by the devil within, but they still chose unity over solitude. I think that says something about both of them. I also loved how Hermione took the lead this time (making her the one to begin the healing). The sex was hot (I especially liked "As she rides him, she curls her hands under his member to lever it upwards, pressing his solid flesh more forcefully between her labia. It draws him upward, his back arching a little from the bed as a sigh slips past his deliciously parted lips."). Mmmmmmmm. Tasty. :)

    Fav bits--

    Abstruse--Mmmm, word notebook.

"this surly, stand-offish sourpuss"--I love this. Sourpuss is so perfect.

"But the question is cut short as she mounts him."-- I particularly like the word mount. I must remember to use it more often.

    "Pinioned"--Another for the word notebook.

"His expressive eyebrow flexes upward, mirroring the intrigue in the sexy hitch of his mouth."--I love the mental image of this.

    "Inexorable"--My word notebook runneth over.

I'm interested to see how Snape reacts when she reveals Sophia's true identity. I'm guessing he's going to be pretty upset that she waited so long to tell him (in addition to the obvious shock of Sophie's purpose for being there).

Sorry for the difficulties you have gone through recently. I really hope things are continuing to improve for you xxooxx - Thank you, sometimes thing happen beyond our ability to influence them, I am much better, writing helps.

And so she can’t tell him. Not now. Not yet. - awwww, don't do that!

He’s clean. Shaved. Showered . . . He is also angry. - he made a decision? Of course he did, angry or not.

He looks so distrustful - well, she didn't give him much material to trust her

I . . . need you. - the damage is already done, least they can do is to use the situation, before everything blows up again

Perhaps that question had also been there, whipping around with the others in his self-made storm of betrayal. - oh I'm sure it was!

She adores the feel of it, the masculine taper to his torso, the lustrous contours—ridges of muscle radiating damp heat through the fabric of his expensive shirt. - such delicious picture, yum

She feels his restraint, the bold strength held in check - huh, is it hot in here or what?

stand-offish sourpuss - what a great description! It made me giggle

He needs to know. She wants to tell him. - ok nice tumble in the sheets and long talk after is quite acceptable :D

Sex scene is spot on - hot, and tender - perfect! No point in c/p all of it ;)

“I . . . love you.”/The words spill from his lips as he surges into her and she cries out in response - this was bit early in to the story, not that we didn't know, I just didn't expect him to say it at that point

Sophia has changed it, already. - yeah, well past chapter did lead to butterfly effect all along. I do hope it will still be happy end.

Waiting to see what happens next, but not impatiently - just waiting.
    Take care of yourself :*

    Kisses&Hughs xxoxx

Sorry for being quiet this long, things in my life took unfortunate and sad turn and I didn't have much brain capacity to verbalise my opinion. I'm still far from ok, but at least I'm semi-functional now :)

you are gluttons for punishment - too true ;)

    Chapter 22

Sad and painful chapter. I like his battle between being the father, destroying the baby and Shakespeare like culmination - death for all of them.  And the doubt, they both question their feeling for each other.

Ok, the twist with Sophia's origin...I wasn't expecting that :D

    Chapter 23

And this chapter is cruel and full of hope in equal measures. Cruel because it tells the story of life she desires and horror of what might be if she pressist in her desires. It gives her/them hope but not solid hope, more of a chance to hope with uncertain outcome.

The pressing question now is how Severus would react to these news, and will she tell him about the potion and Sophia? I hope we will found out soon :)

Take care of yourself, stay happy <3

    Hugs&Kisses xx

Oh, thank Merlin. Grandpa Severus has a plan. Soul Stealing. And now they just have to time everything perfectly and save the world. No problem.

Oh, and yes, your genealogy brain teaser was too difficult. (Okay, it only took one re-read to clarify, but that's a lot of thinking in the middle of eating breakfast.)

First, kudos to you on your writing and the way your brain works! This story is twisted and smart and you should feel very proud. :-) I am very confident in Severus' brewing abilities. If he took ten years to perfect it to the best of his abilities, it's better than any potion most others could have made work. They just have to believe in him and in themselves. I ache for that poor child though. That's a LOT to put on her little 11-year old shoulders. I hope they can fix it and get her back to her time and her family. I like the fact that you had Harry and Ginny back in Hermione's life in the future, even if it was all ruined. I look forward to seeing Severus' reaction and I also wonder how much Minvera knows of the truth. Thanks!! HG4eva

I think I blubbered through this whole chapter.

"My father told Harry that it had been satisfying to take Lily Potter from him...twice." BLOODY HELL!

"...but seeing you...and Grandpa...and having you smile politely at me...or not at all in Grandpa's case, has been really difficult." *SOB*

I love your writing. It's wonderful. Thank you SOOO much for updating today. I'm going through withdrawals. I'm reading 5 WIPs right now, and you're the only one who's updated since the 18th. I'm going stark raving mad. LOL! I might have to stop reading WIPs! LMBO! ;o) Just kidding, but in all honesty. Thank so much. This will get me through a few more days.

    Cheers! ~*Lissa

WOW! Didn't see that one coming. I guess that means she is to have the baby, but I hope they also find a way to not give birth to the next Voldy and somehow accept that they can be happy together despite any lingering horcrux-like curse. Thanks again! HG4eva

    Chapter 22

Okay. I'm going to just come out and say it. You threw such a crazy curve ball at me in the last few chapters that I'm kind of reeling. Totally blown away. IN A GOOD WAY! I'm just shocked beyond wit and measure (man's greatest treasure). Pun totally intended.

Let me see if I can retrace my emotions for you being my last couple reviews were not up to my usual par.

I was so excited Hermione was pregnant. I love pregnancy stories...mostly because I'm a mom, probably, but more because I love babies and I SO SO SO see Snape being an astounding father.

Why? Well, I actually akin my husband to much of Snape’s personality (not the life tradgedies, but he's tall, dark (except for the eyes - he has Harry's eyes, LMBO), brooding, snarky, extremely itelligent, very aristocratic in his looks [big nose and all] and...he's 10 years my senior, so I also relish the age difference between the characters).

How you and OO write Snape is quite intimate for me because of this comparison of character. Back to the babies - my husband and I almost didn't work out (very early in our dating almost 15 years ago) because certain life situations made him think he'd never want kids. Along the way that changed, and while he just barely tolerates other people's children, he is a loving, doting, and amazing father. I see this paralleling with how Snape is as a man and potential father - so I go back to that intimate connection I mentioned above and my elation at finding Snape at impending fatherhood. Makes my insides just gooey. I think he reacted very well – the underlying excitement, even with the scariness of the situation, was palpable and endearing.

Then I was completely devastated because…NO.  I don’t want our sweet Hermione carrying Voldemort reincarnate. How terribly horrifying (even if it makes a completely ENTHRALLING storyline). I almost cried when I read: “What about love? … What if we loved the baby?” I mean *SOB!* What every mother wants is just to unconditionally love their child. Some struggle, some are unable, but I believe deep down it’s what every mother wants, so this broke my heart completely. I’m also terrified that in her condition she couldn’t possibly carry a pregnancy to term and live.

You warmed my heart all over again with Severus admitting the child was conceived in love. Even if he didn’t say it aloud in so many words, Hermione now knows he loves her even while she loves him.

Then you did it again: smashed my face in with another curve ball that blew my mind. Sophia Snape. Hells Bells. I’m a mess right now, all over a fan fic! I’m so blown away with this plot. You have me so intrigued and honestly you cannot write and post this story fast enough. I’m on tenterhooks over here!!! Brava, beautiful! You’re amazing!

PS: Sorry for the personal information, but I felt I needed to say it so you knew how you were capturing me emotionally. I hope I didn't bore you out of your mind.

OMG!!! I finally get back to reading beloved SS/HG Fanfiction (baby girl is now 3.5 months) and you have completely outdone yourself this time! I am so proud of you! I almost wish I had waited a little while longer so the story was finished and I wouldn't have  this ache in my chest after this last chapter. Minerva is so involved, I can't help but love Sophia, and looking forward to more hot sex since the "damage" is done. Side note: I know this will sound creepy but I look forward to your discussions with OO. It's like a FF within a FF!
