I love what you've done with the characters - main and support. This is brilliantly written and I've read it all in one (or three because sleep) go. I am now very curious about the next chapter, because while I want Drarry to be the endgame, I actually like Kyle!

This was the perfect Christmas gift for me. I really loved how you made Draco face so much of his past when he's so actively avoiding telling Kyle about any of it. It's so very telling about where that relationship is going, and it sort of surprises me that it hasn't dawned on Draco yet that what he's doing with Kyle is the very thing that he and Harry talked about on the night after the birthday party - not truly connecting or getting to know someone else and the drawbacks of those relationships. Clearly, he's trying to focus on the positives, although I knew that eventually he'd tire of some of Kyle's insecurity (I know I did, just re-reading the chapter where he was introduced).

I didn't expect an interaction between Draco and Astoria, but I really appreciated that part of the story. It was a great bit of writing - the discomfort, the tension - all of it. And I'm really glad that Draco closed the door while letting it go, but also still passing on his last pieces of advice to his former best friend and ex-wife. It's just a small glimpse of the love and loyalty that I've always known in my heart that Draco has.

And the interaction with Harry - brilliant! Although the story ended with a bit of a cliffhanger, it's not super upsetting because the glimmer of a resolution is there, and it's really comforting. I LOVED getting a peek into Harry's feelings about all of this, and although I would have gobbled up more conversation between the two of them, I love that there's going to be more introspection on Draco's part trying to parse out what happened. And I'm hoping to hear more about what Pansy has to say about all of it (and that Draco just gets it all out to someone he trusts!). I think it was also really awesome that Harry hasn't been with anyone since they "stopped being involved" (because Gods forbid they admit they were "together"), because I can't see how Draco can justify not believing Harry is committed to him now that he knows that bit. Ah, it was all just so good!!

As I said, this was a wonderful gift to your readers, and I can't wait to read more when you are able to write more. Oh, and I had to ask - when Kyle was introduced, he said he couldn't floo to work at the Ministry because he didn't have a fireplace in his apartment, but then he and Draco floo'd to Diagon Alley from (what I thought) was his apartment. Did I have that wrong?

Aaand, one more thing (sorry! this is getting long...), I really enjoy reading Draco's perspective thoughout this story, but I'd also love to hear how Harry's thoughts and feelings evolved throughout the story also. I don't know - maybe another story for you to write - you know, when you are bored or something (HA!).

Thank you for the new chapter. I read a lot of romances and the moment when two characters realize they've been mistaken about the others feelings or intentions can sometimes be a little cheesy or a big let down in the story. Not this time. Draco running into Harry and they're conversation work perfectly. It will be interesting to read what happens when they're both back at Hogwarts. Also, thank you for not making Draco forgive Astoria fully and promise to be friends, it would have been absurd for that to happen and I love your story more for the simple fact that you didn't do that.

A side note. I never really leave comments on people's stories other then a 'thank you' or a 'please write more'. I really like your writing style and your story progression, so thank you for all that you do. Hope to read more soon. Happy Christmas!

Oh my gods. Another freaking amazing chapter. I'm honestly completely obsessed with this fic. I'm going to be heartbroken when it ends. I came for the smut, but I stayed for the plot. And I keep coming back for the perspective. This story feels so personal. Every time, I think it can't hit closer to home, it does. The interaction between Draco and Astoria was so honest. Thank you for writing this. It's doing me so much good. I love Kyle! But I'm very excited for Harry to have tried to make his feelings clear, and for whatever is next for the two men.

You are the only reason I continue to check this website. I adore your writing.

Kyle seems nice... but I hope he doesn't last past the summer. :/

First off, "Harry Potter School of Pleasing a Lover".... HAHAHAHA!! I love that so much and laughed out loud when I read it.

I appreciated the warning at the beginning of the chapter regarding it being a challenging read because Draco is not with Harry - I braced myself and went in with an open mind. And the first time I read the chapter, I was smitten with Kyle in the same way Draco was. I was also a little sad for Kyle knowing that he was taking a chance with Draco in a way that was not usual for him, and that we know that it's not going to work out for them in the end. But then I read the chapter again, and I couldn't help but scream at Draco in my mind when I really saw the things that he found adorable in Kyle were the things that he loves about Harry.

This chapter has really haunted me in a way that others have not - I am really turning over in my mind all of the ways you are going to bring our boys back together and the damage that's going to come along with it. I'm also very happy that Pansy is going to start being a sounding board for Draco - hopefully with more women in the mix, they'll sort their shit out.

Another chapter by Christmas would be the best gift I would get this year, so if you can swing it, you'll have at least one VERY grateful reader. But it's holiday season, and if it doesn't happen, I'll continue to wait patiently until it does happen. Thank you so much for writing this! I love it so, so much!!

I started reading this chapter super angrily - Draco isn’t supposed to be sleeping around, he should be with Harry sort of thing (I completely trust you but was still annoyed haha!) and then we meet Kyle and omg is he lovely - but now I’m sad as Kyle will eventually have to go and you have written him so well!

I love the way Draco came out to Pansy - I was proper laughing.

I never thought that it was Harry’s fault as well because he never communicated his feelings because I’ve been so wrapped up in Draco but you’re absolutely right! Hopefully they both come to their senses but I’m also excited to see where this goes with Kyle.

Your writing in general gets stronger each time- especially this fic. Happy writings and can’t wait for the next instalment :)

YES, YOU ARE BACK! (And with two BRILLIANT chapters) Honestly, you really hit me in the feels. It was really great to meet Harry’s muggle friends and see their reaction to Draco and Harry’s relationship. Draco was also completely clueless because there was such a difference in their relationship to Harry’s previous lovers - such as the exclusivity and the length they’d been together. It was such a climatic chapter (literally ;) ). After reading that one I thought they’ve probably been caught by the papers like in SMN so I was really shook when they ended it and I was near to tears! (In a good way though - it was great that it wasn’t predictable and that it was emotional)

i feel your writing has evolved especially in the smut scenes - (they have always been good) when reading SMN you can see how it has slightly changed (I think) - you just seem a bit more comfortable and at ease (maybe it’s just me haha!) i think each chapter is stronger as you go on, in general, as well!

So glad to see you’re back and I can’t wait to keep reading when you’re able to write :)

Wow!! Just wow!! You are such a great writer. The plot, the smut, the aura around it all is amazing! I love the way you write and I love the way you write Harry. I usually stay quiet when I read, but I just had to review this one. Harry and Draco's rrelationship was riveting in its own sense. The though that it started off as "lessons" and grew is great. I've never in my almost 4 years of reading fan fiction and smut have seen ANYTHING like this. This is great and I want you to know that you have a talent!

Oh my! I come back to not one, but two chapters! What a rollercoaster. I loved getting to see the glimpse of Harry's muggle friends and seeing Draco open himself up fully and finally realize his feelings. But damn! I'm glad the chapter ended with their tentative friendship, but my heart aches for them both.

I adore your stories. I'm actually happy to hear you are going to focus on this one for now, because while I totally love Unstoppable (and Say My Name, for that matter) and want to know where that one is headed, I am desparate to know what is going to happen in this story, and this chapter definitely hit me right in the gut.

I also just wanted to say that I love that you are working within the world we know from the original books, where other writers take bits and pieces and craft their own world. Your stories don't feel like a stretch to me (even if I had to ingore the epilogue), and I am thoroughly enjoying continuing to follow Harry's journey into adulthood and cheering on each iteration of Drarry's evolving relationship. You are very clearly a talented writer who takes pride in crafting a well thought-out story, not someone who is just churning out HP-inspired erotica. I'm hooked and I look forward to each and every one of your chapters. Thank you for writing and sharing these stories with us!

I'm not disappointed at all. I absolutely love reading your work. You inspire me. Honestly when I get stuck I reread your work when I'm at work and read the original stories (the new illistrated versions) at home once my two year old goes to bed. That's why I was rereading them. Your stories are easy to get wrapped up in :). As for this chapter, it had to happen at some point anyway. Now I wonder if Draco will go out to some muggle gay clubs this summer just to help (maybe) get over Harry and if he might accidently run into Harry or Paul again.
