Told myself I wouldn't read. Told myself that a few times. Told myself I'm not into Regency romances. Even if you are one of my favorite authors.

I didn't listen to myself. And I'm very glad of that!

This is a very fun, sweet story you have started - I hope you update it soon, because I'm really enjoying it! I just read it all (well, what's there so far) today. It may have helped that I watched Sense and Sensibility lately, and it puts me in mind of that, and Alan Rickman's role... mmm. Anyhoo - very nice!

I am so enjoying this story. It has been a long time since I read anything that was entertaining in the Regency department. Please update soon, as I will be looking for it. Also, I love that you called that girl a mushroom-giggle giggle

This is such a great story! Equal parts Jane Austen and EverAfter (can't you just see the blond step sister as Miss Dursley?), this is an absolute delight to read. Keep up the good work!

great story so far. I'm a huge HP fanfic fan AND a huge Jane Austen fan, and whether or not you based this on her stuff or other similar writing, I heartily approve. I'm really enjoying the writing style and loorwaorward to more. I'm assuming you'll get around to explaining "bluestocking" at some point.

I was thinking about this story this morning. I couldn't remember who wrote it or where I would find it. I am so glad you decided to update. The story is good. Please continue!

Teeheeehee, that's awesome! I've wanted to get to this story but I never had the chance before now. It's wonderfully written in the true Regency style, and I completely admire your ability to do this. Is it just me, or was being a ditz fashionable back then?

Just wanted to tell you how much I am enjoying this story. I think I have read nearly all the responses to this challenge and yours if by far one of my favorites. Cannot wait for the next installment.

Hooray, Jeanette! I had given up hope of seeing more of this story and I absolutely love it. I'm particularly fond of the dreadful Mrs. & Miss Dursley - they are just perfect
as the awful relatives of the "poor" countrmpkimpkin. It will be great fun to see how often the elegant Lord Snape and the intelligent Miss Granger manage to annoy
    and confound those dreadful women.

I'll be looking for more - in the meantime, thanks for making my day!

This is fabulous! You've taken some of my favorite characters and indulged my secret passion for Regency romances.... This is really good, and has a nice tongue-in-cheek quality to it as well. Draco the ferret is a brilliant addition! (I always hoped he'd stay a ferret for longer than a few minutes...) You've done a great job with this; you had me giggling thtiretire time, and I really look forward to more updates on this. This is GREAT!!!!

//So, without the due formalities, Lord Snape's Nose was introduced to Miss Granger's Head in a manner most painful to Lord Snape.//

Hahahahaha! Why stop there? This long awaited chapter was far too short, but very amusing indeed.

Oops forgot to add - I love the idea of the ermine Draco. The ferret-relations is a lovely addition to the story.
