Pathetic.

Someone *glances the author's way* writes a fic that features serial rape and people *like* it? And to add to that when someone decides to speak their mind and say they don't like it giving valid reasonings why they get counter-flamed for it citing their avocation in writing slash?

Lovely.

Just to point out, in OotP Harry isn't exactly enthusiastic in the relationship with Cho to the extent that the only way he can describe their one kiss is "wet". That still allows a great deal of leaway for making him gay or at least bi. Sure, I will acknowledge that JKR will never write him gay but until she goes Anne Rice on the fandom that will not stop fanfic writers speculating about the possiblity. I personally think it is possible to write Harry gay and still stay IC.

To Vertex: If you wish to persist with this fic no amont of those of us who think you're writing Harry cruel, callous and horribly OOC will stop you so go ahead, you're just adding to the world's terrible moral state.
I have also heard you intend to turn this fic Harry/Hermione and I have to say that after the first chapter only the daft idiots who think this fic is good would ever believe it credible that Hermione could ever forgive him but it's up to you whether you wish to ignore your critics and write a fic only the daft fools can find believable *shrugs*.

Oh and no, I didn't read the fic, I only read exerpts Arianrhod highlighted on a Live Journal Badfic community and her associated comments which, as you may have guessed, I agree with.

lol! i love it when people who have no clue about fanfic flame someone who does. "in character" and "out of character" don't just mean that a character is exactly like he is in the books. it means that their basic personality shows through he whe work. snape's a mean bastard, dumbledore's a bit of a loon, but nice, and a lot stronger than he appears, voldemort is ruthless and cunning and wants power, remus is a nice guy, sirius means well, but is too unstable...if you have those elements in a story, then the character is "in character". what arianrhod and lyria are saying is that in this story, harry is an asshole without any good reason for being an asshole, since in the books, he's a good kid. his personality here is a complete turnaround from normal, and there isn't any real explanation why. sirius dies and harry all of a sudden has to become a jerk and a rapist? makes no sense to me. and what does arianrhod writing slash have to do with anything? being gay isn't a character trait. it's genetic, so it's perfectly reasonable to suggest that harry or anyone else could still be the person they are, and be gay. besides, most slash in this fandom is far more interesting than the het stuff, since most of it is either boring mary sues or badly written. and yes, harry does rape both cho and hermione. anyone with any clue, or who's been date raped, like me, can see that clearly. hermione tries to fight harry, but he pulls her legs open. she tries to tell him no, but he cuts her off, and doesn't let her say no. he knows she doesn't really want him, because he says as much when he sees her looking at his dick. that's rape. and anyone who's ever actually had sex can see that cho is manipulated and raped. she's all tense and rigid, even when he goes to penetrate her. no one who's willing has body language like that. she's scared and hurting and in pain, and he doesn't give a shit. any caring partner would have seen shen'tn't want to go any further, but he doesn't stop, even when her body clearly doesn't want to have sex. that's rape too. and both arianrhod and lyria are correct to show that, and flaming them for it is ridiculous.

WHy did you take out all the things that Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Draco were saying? that made the story much more fun to read, and they were funny. I think that you should put them back in. By the way, you sure changed that fast, i just read chapter one today, like at 4 this afternoon, and now at 12 there's more chapters, i see. But i think that the comments were a very good idea, and you should put them back into the story.

Ignore the rude reviewers Vortex. They obviouly don't know what rape is. Even if it is rape why are they complaining? This is adultfanfiction.net... It has tons of rape stories and most of them happen to be slash.

Lyria: Who cares if Harry is a selfish bastard in this story. The author decides what Harry will be like and not you. If you don't want Harry to be a bastard then go write your own fanfiction. I think this is a much better smut then other story because at least it has a good storyline unlike some crappy plotless shit. And I don't think this story was removed from ff.net. Vortex moved it because he feels that it is more appropriate here with the NC-17 rating as he explained on ff.net.

Arianrhod: Like I said even if Harry is a rapist you have no say. It's Vortex's story and not your. Don't flame Vortex just because you don't like how he made Harry. I happen to like a bad ass Harry. If you don't like this fanfiction then strop reading it. Don't spend all your time complaining and putting Vortex down. It might be offensive to you but not other people. That is why it is a NC-17. Lyria & Arianrhod, I think the both of you need to get a life and look up, no better yet, call a lawyer and ask for the legal definition of rape, because nothing that has happened fits it. Hermione was hesitant and said no, but then said yes. No means no, but yes does not also mean no. She wasn't drugged, she wasn't going through some huge drama in her life, and they are the same age. It wasn't rape, end of story. Now You both say Harry raped Cho... whoa, slow down and explain. WTF? She was concenting the entire time, and being in pain doesn't magically make it rape.

And Arianrhod...lol. How the fuck can some one who writes fag shit complain about any author writing out of character? Guess what, Harry isn't gay! You know what? NO ONE is in canon! I guess we should all go through your fics flaming your stupid ass for writing fagfics. Harry becoming a womanizing asshole is a much more realistic concept (in canon context or in real life) than that shit you write. "Oh, Lucius! You evil bastard Death Eater! Do me in the ass!" I really like the plot of the story, however, you should profread to check the spelling or whether certain paragraph make sense.

I think it is very understandable that Harry become addicted to sex. People seem to the take raping part as an offense so you should not do more and do casual encounterment only. Harry need a counsellor to help him with his problem.
