wow.. that was... well, snapes characterisation was spot onb i think, right down to his thought processes. That was the most realistic depiction of Lupin's grief and events after the ootp that i have read to date. Well Done!

And yes people still read this. :)

    Violent underscore! Rabbit

Gah What can I say about this... or rather where to begin.

I have to admit at the beginning something about Remus's speech or the way it was written was a little hard for me. But re-reading it, it's RIGHT and it works. The stops and starts are just... insightful and say a lot about Lupin's state of mind. Lovely, even if I didn't appreciate it the first go round.

The first sex scene. My god. Absolutely brutal and nasty and wrenching. The utter passivity and disintrest and Snape having to force himself to come, the comparison to a life size sex doll was.. just gah.

Lupin through out this is incredible. I'm not usually one for weepy or dramatic Lupinb ut you've done it in a way that makes it believable and work. He's falling absolutely apart, but he's ANGRY about it and resentful and "You're doing it to get back at him!" Hitting, screaming, fighting-- He's being very believably male in his reactions and I love that.

Snape's characterization in comparison is just as beautiful. He's more calm and in control and concerned and I love that he thinks Lupin is losing his mind. It's a reverse of what I'm used to seeing, but it works beautifully and they compliment one another well.

oh! Can't forget. My favorite line. "No. It's *our* bed".

The change in Lupin's behaviour's a bit abrupt but again, reading again and more closely it's not as much of a shift and I'd first thought..but I read it in the middle of the night the first go through.

Necroscopy as a means for bringing Sirius back is wonderful and new. That severus offers because he can, essentially is also very sweet and touching... Well in a Snape like way. : Severus snapped. Self-centered werewolf. He did not like being so easily read, having his motives dragged out into the naked night. It would not do to show such an obvious sign of love or some other bastardized emotion right before he gave the man away.

    That sums it up nicely.

I like the way it ends without any clear answers as to Lupin's motivation--at least from where Severus is standing.

    Overall--wonderful. Thank you.
