Terrific chapter! The way you handled the Grangers and their feelings was very realistic. And now you've made me wonder what canon Hermione has told her parents - if anything! - about Voldemort and everything that's happening in the magical world. I can easily see that her parents would want to take her away from Hogwarts if they knew the whole truth....

Chapter 22.... I hope that after what Mr. granger has just heard that he will be a bit more understanding of his daughter!!! I'm sure that it will upset him a bit to know how she feels that she isn't home, but he will have to accept the fact that she is a married woman now & not his little girl anymore!!! I am glad that her mother is at least making an effort!!!

I am anxious to find out what the healers & Kingsley find out about what happened to Hermione's grandmother!!! Lucius will get his in the end!!!

    Til chapter 23, Deb >^..^

*sigh* I can only hope that her father will be enlightened by the conversation rather than enraged. More soon please.

This is a two sided review. First, I'd like to tell you that I am absolutely thrilled by your story. I spent the last week going to bed every evening imaging snape and hermione talking and kissing and talking again and slowly getting closer.
Your story is perfect! And you described so well how they slowly begin to trust each other and care and how the relationship changes with the times. I think you did and especially good job of portraiing their first touches, moving the hand to the knee, then slowly up...

But I must say that I was kind of dissappointed with the last three chapters. Somehow, I would have liked you to explore their relationship a little bit more. Some more conversation about them now being lovers. The reaction of the staff - do they know?

I am not happy with you now introducing an "adventurous" side plot. There is a plot hole, maybe? Snape tells Hermione about them being listened to in the evening. Firstly, I do not understand why bold Hermione does not want to read the letter. Secondly, they talk about the possible charms being used and how. They realize it must most likely be something Hermione brought from Gryffindor tower, because Snapes rooms are warded. The logical choice would be to go through all her things, after all she only brought a small bag. Moreover, it must be an item she wears constantly. Seeingt tht there are revealing charms as well (a 3rd clue), they should have realized to check her jewelery. Or at least tried to find something, instead of ignoring the fact.

I'm also not happy with the visit to Hermiones parents, but then I hardly ever like the meeting between Hermione, Snape and parents.

Having said that, I would still like to congratulate you on the other parts of your terribly nice story. Tonight, I will imagining the two again, talking in Snapes living room on the leather couch. But please consider where you want to take this story and if it is worth to add now an (in my eyes) unneccessary adventure. But maybe I am mistaken and you are just putting this into one or two chapters?

Finally read through every chapter you have up, and now I want more. :) This fic is amazing. Well written and even with Snape's softer side, you seem to have captured all of the characters very well. More soon please.

It's "Legilimens" not "Legimens". But other than that this is an excellent chapter. I do like Severus showing he can too have a bit of decent bedside manner with Hermione's grandmother--he can be nurturing, it's just he's not usually in a position where it's safe to do so. More!
