Very interesting chapter, how deep does the darkness go....

Her background explains she survived the Naga somewhat.

    Thanks for adding in Hagrid.

My heart goes out to you - I have two little furry friends of my own and it would break my heart to lose either of them. Be at peace and know she's in no pain...

A little bleary eyed because once I started reading could not stop. Great storyteller! I guess I don't need that paperback.

It's always the quiet ones, isn't it.... Once again, I'm in awe of your scribal skills. Of course, if one person at Hogwarts can fall victim to whispers in the dark, why shouldn't someone else? And I just LOVE it when Dumbledore's not omniscient. Your cast is so realistic I keep expecting to turn around and see Minerva asking me what on earth I'm doing in front of this infernal contraption. Thanks again!

Great chapter, I'm getting scared myself. I get a funny feeling that some terrible things are going to happen soon. I'm very worried for Severus, and the part he has to play in this whole thing. Can't wait to read more. Did you ever find out anything more about that e-book site?

Fitting that you start with the cliffhangers now.
The story just gets more interesting every second, and you end it when it's the most interesting of all...
    *sigh*
And I have to wait a week to read on... Grr. Why is it that trips always take place at the most worst time?
Well, I'll be pining for more this coming week.
You keep writing, don't ever stop writing.

She pulled the ancient magic of her blood to do what exactly? How is she going to help Pince? I can't wait to find out. Is Ron going to be affected soon too? Keep writing!!!!!!

I shouldn't have read this right now...
The laughter made my heads really hurt.
How you described the boys coming down the stairs was priceless. I doubt anyone can repeat that...
It was another lovely chapter as always.

HAH! Three thousaheerheers for Winky! (& Severus & Kathryn, of course ^_~)

Wow, but you update quickly...2 new chapters so quickly? How the heck do you do it? It's definitely nice to have the continuity.

I ended up reading OOTP again yesterday (looovely thing, winter holiday), & was struck again by how much more I like your 16 & 17-year-old-Harry than the 15-year-old. It's a niceft, ft, avoiding the constant screaming. It works, though...it's totally plausible that Dumbledore's showing his hand, along with a little maturing, might re-stabilize him. I'm not sure that Rowling intends to salvage Draco, but SCREW IT, I like your Draco better. He's just so flatly mean in the books...no real character at all. Hmph. Your Draco FEELS. He also deserves a lot of hugs. And a new set of parents. And a new childhood *snuggles Baby Draco*. -- TQ
