Just played catch up with the last three chapters. What can I say? Fantastic, as always. You are doing such an amazing job with this story, your characterizations, the way you handle the relationships, the description of the feline hierarchy, the torment of being in close physical proximity to the one you love but needing to keep it a secret from all. Wow! This story is just wonderful and I must tell you I hope it does not end anytime soon as it has become the only thing I read during my very busy week;-)) Thank you for sharing your talent and for the reliable updates!!

Black cat w/black eyes..that would be something to see.

Still ing ing and purring and other acknowledgements that cats do to define their p wop would be appropriate. What about grooming, my cats lick each others faces.

Good story, enjoying it very much. Missing Sev and K tho- =(, but you and Myrtle have been busy.

I am appalled at Ron, completely sympathetic to Hermione (having often been there myself) rooting for Severus and making sure Harry (and my marvelous author) both realize that a relationship that goes as such, you will be kissing goodbye.

Ah, repressed passion -- frustrating for the characters but great for plot tension. You describe it so well, that feeling of acute awareness ... the magnetism analogy is perfect.

Snape as agony aunt is amusing but also a touching reciprocation of Ron's earlier advice, plus "it was in the shades of gray that life was lived" is such a nice, subtle reminder that this is mature!Ron we're dealing with, despite the momentary wine-fueled leave of senses.

"Sometimes the best friend to have was a Potions Master" -- amen.

the last line killed me. absolutely killed me. mind you, like usual, the entire chapter was putting me near a comatose state of content and need for more. but that last line. man. did i mention that it killed me?

im sure its unnecessary to tell you, once again, but i heart you dearly friendlyquark

Chapter 34... I feel so bad for Severus & Hermione!!! It will be nice to put an end to part of their frustration when Hermione graduates!!!

I hope things will work out for Ron!!! Severus gave him some good advice, hope he listens to it!!!

    Til chapter 35, Deb >^..^<

P.S., I canaly aly agree with the no kitty smut, but a little rubbing & preening wouldn't be too bad;-)

I am truly glad to see that Ron has grown up. I think that Ron's friendship with Snape is what is making this such a good story. Harry and Ginny on the oother hand seem to be completely oblivious prats wound up only in themselves and eachother. This is another good insight that you seem to have with these characters. Many people only see themself and their boyfriend/girlfriend when they start dating...so I like how close to reality this story is running. Great job!

*snicker* Poor Ron can't hold his liquor.

And aww - I feel bad for Hermione. You'd think someone would have clued Ginny in on the situation, even if it was just to say that Hermione was seeing someone she couldn't talk about.

Mmmm... I almost forgot about Harry and Ron. Got too distracted.
Although I would love to see Dumbledore try to avoid an open-palmed
smack from an irritated Hermione.. perhaps Minerva would do.

About the booming friendship between Ron and Severus... mmm...
very interesting, wonder how Ron w mak make it up to Lavender.

*snickers* Too bad Hermione can't boast of her 'boyfriend', too bad the other
girls don't notice the dark, broody, sexy albeit snarky Potion Master... I think she
better kill Voldemort and then threaten Dumbledore... it's much effective
of a death threat when there is already an example laying around... just kidding.

Damn... almost forgot about the other students there.. especially Neville... what's
the deal with Neville being so much like Frank? Just a past Deatheater mistake?
    Or were they friends?

Anyway, I'm looking forward to your next chapter.

" Black and white were clear and easy colors but they were also very limiting; it was in the shades of gray that life was lived."

I love you! What a way to so succinctly sum things up! :D
