i know that you update more than most authors, and that you have a life outside of the terrible temptation universe that youve created. i understand that one should not ct yct you to put your fanfic above all else, and i dont expect you to cater specifically to an obsessive reader like me.
    thats my disclaimer

    heres my message

YOU DIDNT UPDATE TODAY!!! i check my mail everyday for your updates, theyve become a part of my routine. and you didnt update today. and now the whole day is shit. i look forward to a new chapter of this fic especially everyday. when i was driving home after getting up far too early for my liking this morning and taking my friend to school, your fic became a motivation to not fall asleep at the wheel. im always reading about 5 differnt fics at a time, and i have about 10 wips that i die for updates, but yours has become... god pe ype you dont think im exaggerating, its become a treasured moment. seeing that barrie or friendlyquark has updated on my computer screen and clic the the link. then curling up and reading the newest chapter *even if they are painfully short sometimes* and then leaving a random obsessive fangirlish review telling you how much i love you. i am ADDICTED to this fic. and one of my favorite parts of the day is when i check my email at the end of the evening, cuz theres always an update from you.

but there was no update tonight.

now im all paranoid that youre going to abandon it, or keep us all in suspense for 6 months, or something equally horrible, although it is likely (it is likely, right?) that you just didnt update ::today:: and that tomorrow will bring a new chapter full of friendlyquark's a terrible temptation-y goodness.

    oh i hope i hope i hope.

*sends you best im begging you please i love you youre the best smile*
*also holds out the chocolate ive been hoarding all week. and some cookies. and then puts on sad puppy dog face*
    pleeeeeaaase

    xoxo

Sorry I have not reviewed but internet service can been infuriatingly slow, like taking several minutes to load a page off AFF. As a result I cant take 15 minutes to review, but today a miracle occurred and I have decent bandwidth. Please know I am out there and reading even though I don

Poor Severus - he's trying desperately in his own way to reach out to Hermione and it's not really working so
far. I hope she starts 'joining the dots' soon....

    Cheers

Hehe, I'm really enjoying this story...Good job!

The only thing I could say to the last chapter is uh-oh, if there is attraction between two people, shifting into cat-form might _not_ be the discreet way to handle/hide it :) ...Cat's are not known for their inhibitions LOL.
    Biting her neck indeed...
I'm looking forward to the next chapter.

Your cat names keep surprising laughs out of me. Chases Lint! It's reminiscent of "Dances With Wolves" but with monikers that cats probably would come up with if they were interested in naming themselves. (Of course, maybe they are, and do. How would I know?) "He had managed to forget that at the moment he was a cat as well" is also very snort-worthy. I'm glad he spoke up for Hermione even though he was trying to be inconspicuous, but what in the world set Mrs. Norris against her? All the rules Hermione had broken at Hogwarts, perhaps? Or maybe she's just the only student to finish her animagus training quickly enough to be formally introduced to the rest of the felines?

I suppose Snape is speaking for some readers when he says Hermione should have figured things out already. But Ron clearly had more opportunities to see Harry-who-wasn't in action, and he didn't have the disadvantage of strong emotion to cloud his faculties. We know Hermione doesn't think as clearly whe the the throes of a crush -- coughLOCKHARTcough -- so I'm willing to accept that she wouldn't solve this puzzle as fast as the one Snape made to protect the Sorcerer's Stone.

But back to cat names, you've just given her a huge piece to the puzzle. Soot, indeed.

As for real life ... I'm sorry to hear about the student. I hope she makes a full recovery.

i had a dream last night. the fact that i dream about fic is not something im proud of, but alas.

i dreamt that you updated the story with the convocation, and ended it. that as cats he explained and she said ok sounds good and then you wrote "the end"
i was very very upset. after all the amazing writing! after all the angst! how could you end it like that?! i reviewed, repeatedly, begging for a sequel or explanation or something. but i seemed to be the only one. everybody else was reviewing with wow great ending thanks. i was beside myself. i couldnt understand why you would end it so abruptly. there was no angst, no overwhelming joy. and i was very upset that you didnt even give us a little smut as a goodbye. it was like you got bored of writing, but instead of just abandoning it, left all the loose ends out in the open and finished with a "but they got over it and were better" like i did when i was little and spent all classtime writing a story just to run out of time and ideas for an ending. it was anticimactic and just upsettingly abrupt. so unlike the rest of your amazing fun angsty and somuchfun story.
it was a very bad dream.
i was slightly worried, then, when checking for your daily upda

thank you for not doing that to me, or any of your other ::loyal:: and ::devoted:: (i dont know about everyone else, but i surely am) fans.

do keep writing as well as you do. i couldnt bear it if you suddenly went ooc and stopped writing.

i love your story. i love your writing. i heart you immensely

    xoxo

I'm really enjoying this story, and look forward to each update. I particularly liked the cat council; it reminded me a bit of a Sandman comic in which cats spoke of an earlier time when they had ruled the world. I wonder if Mrs. Norris recognizes Kitten-Hermione as a member of the trio that gives Filch so much trouble, and that's why she's soapprapproving?

First off I apologize for not having reviewed this story earlier. I've really enjoyed reading this, and I get quite excited everytime I see that you've posted a new chapter. It seems to be going in a good direction and I will continue to look forward to future installments. I did find it somewhat difficult to believe that witl thl those students allowed cat familiars there would only twelve cats (at east three of which are animagi) but I finally decided that unless I hear otherwise there are others who have been strictly confined to their 'owners' dormitories.
