Good, Ron is being far more understanding than I thought he would be. I hope Hermione doesn't get to angry when she learns Ron figured it out before her. Nah...actually it would be pretty funny is she got angry. :)

Wow -- I certainly didn't see that coming. Ron is so often abused in fan fiction as a jerk and a moron that it's easy to forget that in canon he sometimes has flashes of brilliance (and presumably he'll have grown up a bit ge 1ge 17). This is a fabulous twist, and I love that he figured out the truth in part by listening to what "Harry" said. (By the way, it's got to be like walking a tightrope to show flashes of Snape without making it obvious -- after all, he's a spy and should be good at pretending -- and you haven't fallen off yet.)

And Snape gives out kitty treats?? I bet he wouldn't if he knew what Crookshanks was calling him. "Cat Nip Man" indeed. (It has a certain resonance fnyonnyone drawn to the man.)

It's also appealing to think of McGonagall as Snape's closest friend. They do have a lot in common as the strictest teachers in the school, even if Snape is a bit more, er, forceful about keeping the dunderheads in check. I subscribe to the theory that Dumbledore cares deeply for Snape, but it's always going to be more of a fatherly affection than anything else. Minerva is at least closer in age (well, she splits the difference). Plus she's not his boss.

Very eager for the next chapter ...

OMG!! That was fabulous!! I have been waiting for someone to figure it out, good for Ron. Now for the hard part, dealing with Hermione and his feelings for her. You certainly have your work cut out for you, but I know you'll do a fantastic job, keep up the good work!!

This keeps getting better and better.
I really did not think that there could be any response to this specific challenge that would be interesting to read - and I was soooo wrong!

And a heart-felt "thank you" for not making Ron the usual dumb prat he is portrayed as in about 99% of the stories!

::applauds:: Always refreshing to read Ron being portrayed as intelligent. It's sad how rare that is...::shakes head::
But anyway, DEFINITELY looking forward to more. As always. :)

Here is the resounding 'awww' that this latest chapter instilled in me. I'm glad to see that Ron was the first one to clue into what was actually going on and that it was actually Severus and not Harry in Harry's body. What I also loved was the maturity and companionship in which he dealt with the situation. Very well done. Keep up the good work!

Nice. Very nice chapter. Makes a change from Hermione working out the puzzle every time. But then Ron *is* Harry's best friend.

I can't wait till the next chapter's up. This is myouriourite fic!

Keep up the VERY good work :)

Great chapter. I really like that you made Ron so kind. I like stories where he is the bastard, but having him be so friendly to Snape AND being the one to figure out the truth first was a nice twist. Thanks for updating
