Please just don't make him wear a tux. Severus has spent this whole story being the one to give in, the least that could happen is that he isn't forced to wear a tux.

Well, Rilla, I don't see where anyone said for her to throw over her friends. As someone else stated, she has them all year long and sorry, I would dump someone's ass if they invited their friends on vacation with us without telling me. I don't see where it's so in canon for her to be a bratty littitchitch. I don't see where an in canon Hermione wouldn't have hexed Ron within an inch of his life and make him suffer for what he did to Severus. That's MY opinion. But hell, if it gets people talking and reviewing, it's all good, huh?

I'm really enjoying this story. I can't believe I've never read it before. I'm surprised that you're getting complaints about the way Hermione is behaving. To be honest, I think it's really refreshing to see a fic in which they're actually dealing with real relationship issues in regards to their age difference. As someone who married (the first time) while I was in college and far too emotionally young, I think it would be a HUGE mistake for her to throw all her friends aside for him. While I think she gave Ron a little more consideration than he deserved, canon Hermione is always defending peoshe she thinks are good at heart (like Snape) and I don't see anything different here. I know everyone wants Hermione and Severus to be hopelessly devoted to each other, but I think I would really worry about the mindset of a woman so young who throws away everything to be with a man. I don't think that's healthy at all. I think these are issues she would realistically face, *especially* since he's her first love. Well done.

Gee, thanks for ywarnwarning. I won't bother reading anymore of this. If this manipulation and nonsense of Hermione's continues through the wedding, then there are dozens of fics that deal with actual character development in a much better manner. Just because it's a completed fic that's been posted before doesn't make the reviews any LESS valid.

Hermione's really not very considerate of Severus, is she? It seems like she's putting her "friends" as a higher priority than her lover. Why, exactly, did she even reconcile with Ron after his nasty little stunts to break them up? I rather feel like Severus at this point in the story- I'm really getting sick of the Gryffindor gang tagging along all the time. Are they going to be going on the honeymoon as well?

Well while I do realize that Severus is in love, and when some men are in love they tend to get a bit whipped, but I think you are giving Hermione too much leeway here. Don't get me wrong I really love this story, but the only one compromising and having to give things up is Severus. Hermione is still young and somewhat immature but I think there has to be a point where she needs to realize this is the man she wanted and went r anr and its not fair that she is changing him to suit her needs.

Whoa. I am really getting tired of your Hermione. I realize that she is young and all, but her little games are really trying my nerves. First she doesn't tell Severus about the party, hoping that he would enjoy himself (right!) and then she invites Ginny on their summer holiday and doesn't tell him till the next morning. He really needs to put a stop to that nonsense.

Just MHO. Still love your fic!

I just wanna smack this Ron up side the head ! Usually I love Ron, but this one . . . .

Maybe he needs to be getting a little. Might improve his mood.

I have to agree with the reviewer who doesn't get why Snape puts up with her shit. To be honest, I think she has some brass balls expecting him to deal with HER friends constantly imposing on their relationship. She's with her friends all year long and she gets bent because he wants her alone for the summer? I would tell her to go with her friends if they're that important and to hell with their summer. She DOES realize that when you marry, your spouse comes before your friends, right? Dealing with HIS moods? Hardly, more like him dealing with her foibles. Still, it's nicely written even if the characters piss me off. LOL
