*waves* I'm still reading - and am still very intrigued. I'm not exactly the mistress of analysis but I am really enjoying the story and its uniqueness.

No, April, you are not losing your readership. Many are just not reviewing. Most of us will only think of suggestions to lead your fic toward a happy ending (happy sunshine thoughts of bunnies and true love and couples riding off into the sunset hand in hand). And that isn't the point of your fic, right? This is gloom and it is meant to be.

So did ALL of the Weasleys save Ron and Molly die? Whoa, depressing. Ron would still be cute with one leg. He really needs to get off his ass.

    Cheers dear.

Those were very intense emotions and revelations from Hermione and Ron. The ravages of the war were clearly etched into this personal glimpse of their lives. Hopefully their friendship can help pull them through.

My heart is breaking for Snape and his delusional dreams. By that I mean that from reading Mirror, Mirror, you know the life that he thinks he perhaps had (and still could have.) However, you also know what his life is really like now. Perhaps if he were taken somewhere safe there would be a chance for him, but right now it looks like the deck is stacked. I'm still hoping that Hermione can go against the masses and do something for him.

So glad you are sticking this out. It's been a very emnal nal ride (and therefore not something that appeals to the masses) but it's so well written that it

Sorry I dipped out of chat, our connection went down. What an incredible chapter, April. You delve into the psychology with such aplomb. What a mess S/H are in. I thought the scene with Ron was written with wonderful insight. They are both dealing with their tragedies in a way one would expect the c cha characters to. Excellent!!! Can't wait for more.

April.....what can I say? You have made our lovely professor a character that polarizes both ends of the emotional spectrum for good and evil. As for Hermione, you have managed to keep her character steady, stable, and true to herself while dealing with very difficult issues. However you end up finishing this story, it is going to be a gripping (if not entertaining) read that will keep me coming back for more at every possible chance.....Linda

Girl, this is GOOD STUFF. It's not fly, ly, frothy or flippant. SO damn what? It's also bloody marvellous, and well-written. I'm sticking with it. Blessings! Kaitkaitkait x

Wow - great chapter, April! Very interesting plot twist, with Hermione trying to protect Snape against his new enemies... and now her new enemies, too? Hmm. Update soon! Can't wait to see wher eit goes from here... will she escape with him, maybe?

As usual, a splendid and beautifully-written chapter. I particularly like the way you combine your deeply emotive narrative with touches of humour. Very impressed. Thank you, Kait x

For someone who claims to not play around in angsty territory, yortairtaiseemseemhavehave a good handle on it. I loved this chapter. I loved it because the lemony scene had more grit and reality to it than many other pieces.

You didn't lose sight of the fact that Snape had been immobile for an extended period of time. You didn't lose sight of Snape's and Hermione's characters.

You have done an EXCELLENT job with this. Even though it's a hard read, I look forward to reading more.

Great chapter. After all Hermione was willing to go through to bring Snape back, and then how he reacts -- very heartbreaking. This is definitely a case that will test all her skills. Can't wait to see her prevail!!
