I can't say how thrilled I am every time I see an update to this! I wish I had a bound copy in my hand (complete of course!) so that I could hide myself away and read. It really is superb.

This is such a good story that I hope everyone reads it even if it isn't their kind of thing. The fact that it is already a complete story makes it even better. I hate it when good stories don't ever get finished.
It is sad to find that severus is in a Mental Institution but him being there makes his chracter all the more unique. I really like it when Hermione and Severus have their talks. If they can get him out of the Institution soon I can't wait to see some of the old him, or maybe not.
I also like Nicholas, his character is great. As for his dream it could mean anything. Is he based on anyone? Sometimes good chracters are based on people in the authors life.
    I think Ron and Fran

Still reading, still loving it. Just one query, why is Snape still in the looney bin, he seems to be san sanest person out there.

PERFECT!!! hmmm. i wonder if Brittan has any famous Criminal Profilers like John Douglas (my hero, my idol, the person i want to grow up to be! (only female, thank you very much))...That would be interesting. Loving the story's progression and want more, as always... and Ron's fairy story was both touching and sad and so much more. and what is going on with Ron and Harry's wife? to much time together or actually feelings starting to bloom?
    thank so much for posting!

I don't review this nearly as often as I should--truly one of the best stories I have ever read. The plot is involving and original, the writing is impeccable, your characterization is spot on, and I don't count my day complete until I have read each new chapter. You are a very talented writer!

Yet another POWERFUL chapter. I LOVE the nickname butterfly, and the mistery and the story just keep getting better and more in depth! I think this is one of the better stories im reading right now and love the depth of everything! and so many of your lines are strikingly poetic!
LOVE this story. thanks so much for posting!

An excellent update. I find myself looking fod tod to the notification emails! I really feel for Ron. Particularly poignant was his bedtime story to young Al and and the subsequent dialogue with Francoise.

Loving the way that clever Hermione continues to sleuth her way across this story, and I have to say I missed Severus in this chapter! You have him well characterised, and his past illustrated so believably.

    Thanks for posting this.

Hmmmmmmm.....curiouser and curiouser...I'm thinking that the reason they were killed is because they were connected to Snape somehow? Or maybe no one killed them at all and instead they killed themselves while under some mind control or something. lol, this story is amazing :)

I don't know the exact word that I need to describe this chapter, and I'm to lazy for search into my spanish/english dictionary. But what I mean to say is that this chapter has certain cotidianity (?) and depth, it was beautifully crafted, as if the shadows, the darks and the shines you want to describe were there in every dialogue and gesture of your charachters.

another powerful, emotional and developmental chapter here. Sadly no Sev, however.
You know you are writing an important peice of fic when your readers are having nightmares about it. More specifically about Snape in the asylum trying to throw himself down a flight of stairs while you watch hopelessly.....

    well done, and spot on!

I am such a sucker for a GOOD murder-mystery. You want to know my theory? It was Petunia, determined to rid the world of the evil mad wizards that she feels have been ruining her life - maybe she was madly in love with James Potter but her bitch/witchter ter actually married him? So she finally cracked and started madly killing any wizard she could find, with a Big Knife.... or perhaps not.
Whatever the answer, I am very much enjoying this story and waiting eagerly for updates (just ask my husband, exiled to watch telly while I commandeer the computer ... again). Keep it up!

Ok. Time to put on my thinking cap. Whodunnit? Can't be Snap-- he was locked up. Could be Ron but what motive would he have for the others? Don't think its Dumbledore... Not Alice... I'd say Nicholas but that would only work for Harry not the others... Hermione was out of the country so not her... What about Francois? We don't know that much about her... And then there's that cryptic appearance by Draco at Harry's funeral. It would be just too obvious to be him, so not Malfoy. Hmmm.... I'm cofused. Have we encountered the killer yet in the story? There's just no one that seems likely yet. Maybe lebolebolt himself??? :D sigh....

This is a terrific story--I can't believe you only have 65 reviews! Great Snape, great Hermione, great plot twists. I love how Hermione's time in Tibet has especially suited her for waiting Snape out. This is considerably more plot-driven than the usual fanfic, and it's a very interesting plot, too. I've really enjoyed reading the new installment every morning--thanks for sharing it with us.

More intrigue! And Hermione's such a delightful clever-clogs, isnt she?

Well, hay, I'm absolutely sucked in...and I take that back about
believing Hermione killed Harry. Not that I was serious, you understand...

I look forward to tomorrow's update. Delicious!

Severus is the snake in Nicholas's dream (from his dad's memory) and Dumbledore is still my pick for the dragon. The cage is all the lies and plots he weaved around both Harry and Severus for so long. Its too latr Her Hermoine to save Harry, but all those lies are coming back to haunt everyone. Doubt the killer is Dumbledore, he's just the megalomaniac that set the whole thing in motion. Starting to think the wildcard deck is Neville --- red herring or killer???? Obliviously Dumbledore was trying to rattle Severus and/or under Her Hermine's place by seeing if hn man make Serverus jealous. Question is why on two counts --- to what end? and why does he think he would be jealous? Rattles him and then gives him something he wants so much, the paper (punish and reward so he further undermines Hermione?). Ah, the plot thickens!!! Love this story!!!! Still hope the snake ends up in her arms so to speak!!! :)
