I've always had the feeling that Black and company got off scott free after pulling that stunt on Snape - your version seems very believeable. Keep up the good work!

This has been fascinating. Sometimes something is original because it's based upon a poor idea. The situations and directions the characters have taken are new to me, but what you write rings true and strong.

I am looking forward to reading more.

I love this story, but the more I read, the more I don't like Francoise and I can't put my finger on why! I'll keep reading though to find out!

This is just wonderful. So well thought out, with superb characterisation and a plot that is completely involving. I whimper when I reach the end of each chapter.
    Thank you.

I love all the complexity you've coaxed from the canwhicwhich as Hermione says, seems deceptively simple re good vs. evil. Your idea that Harry might have evil Voldemort bits in him is a very interesting one - I wonder if it'll show up in books 6 and 7 at all! Already in book 5 Harry was afraid Voldemort was able to possess him. Wouldn't it be something if your fanfic idea played out in JKR's stories!

Love it. I particularly love the way each chapter ends with me desperate to know more and the way the story is released in little snips rather than whole chunk. I am still curious to know what Snape meant by the being the Keeper. I don't think he was referring to Quidditch. Is he somebody's secret keeper and somebody else either doesn't want him to tell or wants to know? I'm going to read it again for clues.

I'm injoying the story very much. 11th chapter already... I do not know should I be pleased or in grief, that there only (the whole!) 19 days of wonderful reading is left.

God, poor Harry ... and his family and friends. Now I'm wondering whether the Auror who was just killed was killed in the same way Harry was? Was there some connection? ... yay, a Galaga fan! That wasn't my very favorite game but I do remember it fondly. How about ... Dig Dug?

I want to let you know how much I've been enjoying this. I'm loving the "Heart of Darkness" quotes; I don't know if it's what you intended, but my brain keeps wanting to connect Snape and Kurtz, largely because of the voice thing. (Kurtz being described mostly in terms of his voice and Snape's voice being so powerful and so much a part of him -- and largely unused for years.)

As for the dream, I'm thinking maybe dragon=Voldemort (or Nagini), Hermione helped kill him, had to make some hard choices, and then abandoned Harry et al. afterward. (Or not. Maybe the dragon is metaphorical, I dunno.) The snake suggests Slytherin, but how I'm not sure. Harry being locked in the cage with it makes me think of Dumbledore's seeing a snake in Harry's eyes in OotP, but what that means I still don't know.basibasically I'm clueless. (But loving it.)

Any possibility you could be persuaded to do 2 chapters per day?

Very deeply and darkly mysterious. Just when I think I've figured one thing out something comes along to twist it some more.
