Once again I don't know what to say. I love the subtle humor in both of them referring to the baby by different names. And the Snape at the end of the chapter is just a bastardly even though he's so much more endearing because of his love for the baby. Prat Ron was great! His harem! That's fantastic.

Snape went and took the tablecloth off of the small table that he used for dining. He wrapped it around his waist. Now he was prepared to pretend that he was a certain young Witch.

Now you see, THAT is just brilliant. You've made me laugh (Ron suggesting a stetson instead of the pith helmet), grip the edge of my seat (oh no! Don't marry Ron, Hermione!), sigh with relief (Marriage proposal went into the rubbish, heehee) and then go 'awwww' (Snape's horrible childhood).

Added to all that, I really empathised with Hermione with her troubles in feeding, the leakiness and pain of post-natal stitches, and I was utterly proud of your Severus for comning up with such a brilliant choice of gift.

Reing ing the urge to fangirl, I will merely say that I very much look forward to the next chapter. When you're ready, of course ;-)

    Blessings, Kait x

Ahhhh . . . Baby Love . . . I used to sing that to my children when they were young. I love that you've included it in this chapter.

I'm enjoying this story so much! However will Snapey break through Hermione's ice? This should be interesting! I look forward to more.

I've been reading for a while but I can't say I'm liking Hermione any better. She really has no right to be as angry at Severus as she is.

Chapter 4... Ron is quite the arrogant cad, married with a harem indeed!!! Sounded like he was a bit worried when Hermione mentioned Molly!!!

Have to give Severus credit for trying!!! I think he made a step in the right direction when he gave Hermione that book!!!

I am very much looking forward to seeing what he talks with the solicitor about!!! From the sounds of things I'm not so sure that Hermione doesn't want a father for her son!!! I am hoping that Hermione will see that he is serious, soften & give him a chance!!! I am also quite curious to see if & how Severus' mother steps into the picture!!! Til chapter 5, Deb >^..^

OY! What a chapter! I don't know whether I want to slap Snape for being such a dope because I'm not sure it would hurt all that fluff in his head or not! What a neanderthal! OMG! He really doesn't have a clue about women or Hermione for that matter! Idiot! LOL!

And Hermione, still noelineling the love there, but understand a bit of her POV. Still think she's short sighted and selfish. She still looks bad for caring more about the rights of House Elves who don't want to be free then for the rights of her son and the man who unwittingly fathered him. Still I can sort of see her hate for him. I mean every time he comes around her something bad happens to her. Poor girl!

Yes, well, I expect this is actually closer to being in character than most HG/SS stories. I think it is very funny!

OMG! Hot Muggle Love?!?!?! LOL! I was laughing hysterically this entire chapter cause I just kept imagining exactly how hard Hermione was going to kick Snape's ass when he approached her. Please continue with this. We all need some silliness in our life. :P

Hysterically funny, April, particularly Snape's teatowel rehearsal. ROTFLOL Glad to hear he would only beat them if they deserved it. Gotta be fair about these things. Amazing how a truly clever wizard can use his empathy and legilimancy skills to really see something clearly from Hermione's POV ;)

Oh, God, poor Hermione and the house elf situation! Snape is delusional, pretending to be Hermione and then coming up with some completely off the wall scenario for Hermione to have gotten pregnant. I'm sure I'd have busted my stitches if Snape had have walked into my recovery room dressed like the freak he is. ^_^

I love the idea that if the pair of them would just shut up and listen to each other then they might find some shred of a lue about their shared 'past', such that it is. However, in the farce of it all they are so completely honed in on their own tangents that they just are not seeing any picture other than the one they wish to see.

That's very cleverly done I might add.

Snape as Icarus is a clever motif, for I have no doubt that Hermione will find some way to 'clip his wings'...happily even. ;)

The labor is interesting more for what isn't said by other party, than what is said. The righteous indignation is well evidenced with the pair of them and that makes for very black humour.

It is so far very cleverly done and the most interesting part will be watching both of them dig even deeper holes, shore up the battlements and slog it out - literally.
