Shiv....I can't wait to see what happens next. I like the idea that Draco doesn't want her anymore than she wants him and that he realizes that he is as much a pawn of his father as she is the ministry. I also like the fact that Hermione isn't an idiot :) or a doormat and that others seem to see and respond to it. Keep up the good (no, great!) writing and ignore the idiots! Linda

This story is great! I think your Hermione is absolutely fabulous, and the way you question the Headmaster's intentions (quite justly) is very entertaining. :)

Oh, goodness... An Evil!Dumbledore. How lovely! It's about time people saw what a manipulative bastard that man is. And not only am I taken with your Dumbledore, but this KickAss!Hermione is great. All too often we see this girl get shit upon and have to pick up the pieces of her life. I'm glad that for all the fics out there that have Hermione as this weak-willed little girl in a woman's body making decis ths that she is unworthy of, we finally see the strong character that JKR has written for us. Thank you, Shiv, for another story actually worth reading. They are rare on the table these days.

Oops. Obviously, I meant when she turned it around to mean Snape and not Dumbledore. He's really a perv in this story. :)

Oh Shiv, you crack me up! I do love evil!Dumbledore, he's so amusing! Plus it's nice to have an author whom consistently writes a strong female lead! *gasps in shock* What..... Could that mean some of us actually like that? *winks*

    Oh, this was just classic:

The one good thing about dealing with Slytherins is that they didn

Beautiful chapter! Perfect! Love Dumbledore's approach... dirty old man. Evil!Dumbledore is perfect, and you write him so well (underhandedly evil, not ridiculously in-you-face evil). Okay, cover your ears: Fangirl SQUEEEEEEEE!

Great start on what looks to be a very entertaining story! Love the interaction between the characters - very well written! Maybe I'm a freak, but I love pervy Dumbledore, but much prefer darling Severus. :) Great job! Keep up the good work and update SOON!!!

Yuck.. Thats really gross.. But I think I, too, would definitely prefer even greasy ol' Snape than Dumbledore (then again who wouldn't). He's just a horny old perv ain't he? But that was a clever way to get out of that -almost- mess. Look forward to reading more (like the rest of your stuff).

Ugh. Dumbledore proposing, he's hit a new level of evil/disgusting. Excellent twist Shiv, can't wait to see Severus's reaction.

Oh, that was classic. Having Dumbledore be suggesting himself and Hermione turning it around on him by saying thae the thought he was suggesting Snape. Just wonderful. And the drinking scene with Hermione and Draco...oddly bonding. I liked it.

EEEWWWW! Dumbledore is a perv! Ok, I've gotten that off my cheand and I feel much better. I like that Draco understands that he's being manipulated, and the tolerance and compassion on Snape's part is excellent, and I really like your Poppy Pomfrey this time. But what I like the most is that the idea for whom to marry (that coincidentally fits all of Dumbledore's qualifications) is Hermione's. Excellent.

The final dialogue sequence is perfect! Maybe I think that only because I didn't catch where we were going till halfway through it, but still, v. cool. Severus seems a little too interested in Hermione, though. The hangover potion and the infirmary wait make sense in light of his Ch. 1 chat with Minerva and his sympathetic "drinking isn't the solution" comment, whichgethgether) neatly set up his personality here, but holding her cloak?? Looking forward to the next chapter, whenever it comes.

Yes!!! How supremely entertaining to see Hermione deal with
Dumbledore like that, clever girl. I thought the scene with Draco
(and the broom references) was brilliant. But how is Hermione
to get past the contraceptive ban if she doesn't want children?

I look forward to the way you're going to inveigle her through
the eye of that particular needle.

Cheers for that - much needed. Kait

The age gap between Snape and Hermione doesn't bother me much, but Hermione and Dumbledore? Say it with me girls-EEEWWWWWW! I love the way you had Hermione deflect Dumbledore's 'proposal', and I can hope that Severus will eventually see it in the same way. This just keeps getting better.
