You crack me up (must find muggle equivalent before week is out)! Nice continuation. I liked the touch of his "old associate" in the underground station. Lots of nice little bits in here. He never did quite answer huestuestion about why he was with her though, did he?.........

Great chapter. Love how she propositioned him. Now the question, will he accept? More soon please.

Great chapter -- evocative detail and sharp dialogue. I love the image of the river of people flowing around Snape-the-black-rock as well as his ability to figure out the way to use the ticket once the masses had cleared away (he is, clearly, smarter than the average Weasley).

I also love the continuing hints that this Hermione is about to launch a major campaign of some sort -- "thinking ahead to the next phase of her plans" is so canonically correct, so wonderfully anti-doormat. It's the DA all over again ... I can't see her ever simply saying, "oh well, that's that."

hapshaps we'll find out next time why Snape is tagging along? (If his reason is a long-harbored secret desire to, er, proposition her, no wonder he feels like muggle terminology has slapped him in the face.) I'm also eager to hear the rest of the story that we're not gng fng from Hermione ... whenever that works into the plot.

Oh thank GOD....I thought once the shag was over that the story would end and both would be left with the bittersweet feeling of what might of been....thank goodness your continuing the story and introducing other factors.....I am enjoying this story, but I do find it hard to believe that the Weasleys, and Harry would not support Hermione after all she has been to them....

Kudos (or knuts) to you for Hermione's "fancy a shag" line. It's both wonderfully, completely in and out of character and I love it! The pathos of her knowing just exactly why she suddenly does mean that incredibly anachronistic (at least, from our usually ever-so-proper Miss Granger to our usually ever-so-distant Professor Snape) was lovely. Can't wait to see all the complex threads come back into a completed tapestry.

Nice start! I just bet that Hermione can read Snape's body language. In Braille. (or so I dare to hope). More soon, please.

Yay!!! "We'll have dinner in your world and dessert in mine."

    I say again, Yay!!!

On to dessert! On to dessert! Thank you so much, flyingegg. It's an absolutely lovely fic, and I can't wait to read more of it. Oh, and the premise. I love that she runs magical statistics, and those, being magical, aren't on the past but the future. ::smiles:: So very much in character. And I love your subtle but not quite as impervious as percieved in childhood Snape. They're perfect foils for each other.

    Write soon, y'hear?

Well, I hope you have chapter 3 ready to go......and I hope dessert is lemon meringue pie! :-) Interesting concept here and very typical response of the bureaucracy.....unfortunately. I can't wait to see how Severus is planning to help her. They'll set the wizarding world on their ears.

She let them SNAP HER WAND?????? she says with alarm. Now that is a bit rash and unexpected. I will be interested to see the background on this..I assume we are going to get the background on this decision?

This is quite an intriguing set up, nicely written (as always) with a innovative little hook.
Im really looking forward to the next chapter, but I hope we get to see a little more Snape Snarkiness.
