I really like this story alot. Can you please write some more chapters? Or can you write a sequel to this story please?

What a different take on the Marriage Law! I thought I'd seen every possible twist on it that existed, but your story is definitely different. I enjoyed Snape's tone - very bitter. While he never said that he loved Hermione, the fact that he took time to write such a letter to the Minister concerning Hermione and the other girls in her class shows that he had strong emotions regarding them. A human Snape who's actually IC. Great job!

Wonderful job. Very in character, and sad, but well done. I wonder what the wizarding publics reactions to a letter like this would be?

Oh god -- horrible but accurate, and so clearly Snape's voice that I didn't have to scroll down to the end to figure out who was speaking (well, writing).

It's easy to romanticize the marriage law, and I've certainly enjoyed some of the romanticized responses. But you've captured what this law is at essence: an abomination.

Very disturbing, but a very appropriate answer to the marriage challenge! I liked Severus' use of sarcasm and attention to explicit detail. Thare are a few spelling errors in there still but other than that, well written and engaging.

Well done, very different approach. And so sad!
    Good work!

Excellent exploration of what such a law might be like -- and I particularly appreciated that you set in relief just how extreme such a measure would be, and how extreme the society that actually enforced it would become. (Particularly liked the bit about not even Voldemort being able to condone it.) A brilliant, fluffless take-off on the 'Marriage Law' that's fuelled so much fluffy emptiness as well as so many good and interesting fics.

I have read many stories that have been written through this lenglenge & this is the 1st like this I've read!!! This may have been short, but it is STRONG & POWERFUL, filled with sadness & emotion!!! You did a FANTASTIC job at showing Severus' anger & frustration & let him be the key to opening the eyes of others!!! AMAZING!!! Deb >^..^

This is the most realistic response to that challenge yet (well, at least in my opinion).

    Angsty, darmatic, brilliant and perfect.
