Great story. Snapes niece seems too good to be true, but I'm sure that will wear off. A lovely story that I hope will continue. Thank you. P.S. I wonder what Dumbledore's new one will get up to? Why would he pick a wild child?

That is so wierd!!! When I was little I had a black cat by the name of Ghengis! Athough, mine was a girl. She was a right mean little witch sometimes; but she was smarter than any cat I've had since. Anyway, I absolutely love this story!

Oh my god! I love this story! You'll have to update soon! The story is so sweet and I love this side of Snape. I think it's awesome that you kept him in character too. ^_^

This story is wonderful! I would tell you to hurry up with the next chapter, but I understand completely. It is hard for me to find time to write also, what with being a single mother working full-time and college full-time. Take your time, so that when you are able to update, you can give more of the quality that is prevalent in the five chapters you have already.

This is a really really good story... I'm actually beginning to like the Hermione/Snape pairing because of you and one other AFF writer. Hehehe...I never thought I would like the HG/SS pairing. But I think this story just fits. I LOVE Jonette-she's adorable! And Snape coming to realize his attraction to Hermione...precious. Very good. Update soon please! Well, don't rush and do make sure you have some time to yourself...

Sorry it's me again. You know the person who writes enormous reviews. But I had one more thing to say. When Hermione and Snape were discussing having several dinners together they said that after a few they might include Jonette in one. Well what about instead of taking her to dinner with them they instead take her to an amusement park. Not necessarily a big one but one with the smaller rides that little kids can ride. Or maybe it could be a small town fair either muggle or wizarding. Although I kind of had my mind on a muggle one. It would be neat to see Severus in Jeans and a t-shirt. Although how the girls would manipulate him into wearing muggle clothes like that I will leave up to you. It would also be really fun if Jonette were to manage to get him to go on some of the rides with her and Hermione. So Keep up the GREAT WORK!!!!!! have I said great work too many times or is that even possible?

Great story. Great writing. Great plot. Your story pretty much has everything that a great story needs to be great. This was definitely worth reading. Even though when I started it I knew I wanted to read it at some point I just wasn't quite in the mood for a story with plot/character/just plain good. I was more in the mood for reading some pwp's. Although I actually like best pwp's that have at least a little plot thrown in for seasoning. Just reading a pwp where they go straight to it with no reasonable explanation is pretty boring. Every once in a while though I get that hankering for some good old fashioned smut that happens quickly. So I'm not quite sure why I started reading your story when I did. Although I just love the plot line. Very original. It hooked me right in. So I was definately going to read it at some point (most likely very soon). None the less for some reason I clicked on it now and once I started to read it there was no way I could stop reading it. I can't wait for more to come out. I will definitely be looking for more. I think this is one of those rare fics that is going to settle down in my mind permanently and every once in a while make me think of it. That doesn't really happen all that often. Especially with as much as I read regularly. I really love the idea of the ministry forcing the adoptions on people. I think it could probably be turned into a series. Maybe even turned loose so that other writers could write in this universe and all the stories put on one webpage as well as here. It would be so neat to see what kind of stories would show up. Like isn't Hagrid within the age range. He should have a kid too. I'd love to see McGonagall as well with a kid. And what about the Weasley's even though they could be exempt I really can't see Molly Weasley not taking in at least one and probably more like maybe siblings that would otherwise probably be separated. And what about the older boys. Bill, Charlie, Percy (could you just see that priss with a kid). Oooohh and the twins Fred and George it's almost terrifyig to think what kind of kid they would end up with. Well actually it would be two kids since they wouldn't be counted as one obviously. Although I think they would raise them together pretty much. So maybe they would get a set of fireheaded twin girls just old enough to cause even more mischief than Fred and George ever did. Of course they would have masters teaching them the fine art of pranks. There's so many different characters in the Harry Potter world that I can't help but think about what kind of kid they would end up with. You really did great on this story. I just broke my heart when Snape told Jonette that her parents were dead. You perfectly caught how a six year old child would act and how Snape would respond. Snape's is in character the whole time and yet you managed to let him show a more tender and protective side. All the while still staying true to who he is. It was a great idea to make her his neice. I don't think the real Severus Snape would get along with any child that wasn't a Snape. They would be completly incompatible. I think no believe you have captured the true Severus Snape and not simply the cold cruel man that cares about no one that most believe he is. Instead you have shown the snarky easily annoyed (ah I can't describe his character right) and yet deep down buried beneath all his protections his tender and kind (sort of) side shows. And yet in the scenes where you made him nice he was still Snape-ish. Man I really ramble on too long. I think it's time to end this review. I hope what I said made sense because it's hard to write a long review when you can only see two small lines of text at a time. I really hate aff.net's review box. I never know if my review is going to look good or not until I post it and see the entire thing. But by then it's too late to make any changes to it. Well anyway keep up the great writing. Oh and I hope that you plan to let Harry eventually get better. I would also like to hear more about the other professors who now have kids. eh eh Especially McGonagall and Hagrid. Maybe Hagrid could end up adopting a kid that's like him half giant and half human. One that no one else would want. It would be cool if McGonagall maybe got an infant too. I'd like to see her walking around the school with a baby strapped to her chest. And what about Filch does he have to adopt a child or will he be exempt since he's a squib? If he does get one maybe he/she would be as nasty and cruel as Filch himself. Unless you think that Filch is like Snape and just misunderstood and judged harshly because of the way that he tries to scare the kids into behaving. Now a sight to see would be Filch with a infant strapped to his chest walking around Hogwarts doing his job. Or maybe a toddler toddling along behind him with Mrs.Norris actually looking out for him or her. Anyway I can't wait to see what romance is going to bloom between Severus and Hermione. As for Hermione's relationship with Jonette I think that she has pretty much claimed the spot of new mother. She certainly acts like she is her mother. I think it would be best if I stop typing right about now because I think this may be the longest review that I have ever left. And there have been time that I have left some pretty long reviews. So keep up the GREAT WORK!!!!!!!

Well, I was certainly surprised to see this tonight. After a quick reread remembered how much I had enjoyed it and hoped for more. I don't know much about 6 year olds but Jonette seems to be able to handle herself when she has too. I'm glad you allowed her to reunite with her dog - I'm typing this with one in my lap and the other on my feet - because that will give her another friend besides Hermione and Gunther. It will be fun to watch as Severus and Hermione begin to spend more social time together and how they try to include Jonette in some of that.

Thanks for the feel good read - I NEEDED that!
