That was very good. I don't quite understand why Hermione couldn't tell Draco she loved him but it was very good none the less. ~Katherin

This is a very well written ficlet; using mostly narrative insteade of dialogue was a different and pleasant touch. Thanks for shariour our talent :-)

This was, as you noted, dark, angsty and everything else I love about the D/Hr ship. It makes sense that she can't ever tell Draco those three words because of their past and current predicament. What really interests me is not how they got together but how they still manage to stay together... Or at least, why Hermione still stays. Draco wouldn't have it any other way and I understand she has grown certain attachments but it still remains an interesting enigma for me.
That was one great piece of work, for capturing their relationship in what I think is the perfect light, and more. =)

Eep. Mixed emotions, because although I understand her need never to tell him - to keep *something* to herself - it seems like Draco would be a lot easier on her if she'd just tell him that she finally loved him back.

Wow! Sad and touching at the same time. I knew while reading that she did love him. I was saying to myself as I was reading about how she loved him and their kids, "Why doesn't she just tell him that she loves him?" She's so overwhelmed by the hurt of everything that's happened and being blessed at the same time with Draco's love that she can't seem to bring herself to tell him she loves him. Bittersweet, yet moving. *two thumbs up*

Wow, beautifully done! Your story is well-written and frought with emotions. The non-con isn't squicky and your characterizations of Draco and Hermione are right on. Great job!
