Great story - very easy to read and yet with proper grammar and punctuation! Bravo! :) I really like that you've written several things different than most - that Albus doesn't immediately know everything, that Snape isn't a bastard (at least not so far!), and that Harry is actually a 'Mudblood'. I've read many stories in which Harry suddenly turns out to be a pureblood. I also really like that your Harry is the only person who knows what is going on. I love smart, powerful Harry! And while I'm all for the smut and am looking forward to the H/S hookup, I do appreciate a writer who takes the time to actually write a story first.

    Just a couple of questions:

I probably am missing something, but if Salazar's painting was painted after the time he and Harry trained together, how did it get hung on the wall in the 70's? I'm guessing that whenever Salazar's painting is redone (that specific painting hung in that specific spot) is updated all the way back to when it was first hung. Is that right?

I also just have to ask where the name came from. It kind of gives me three different impressions - Alexander (average guy) Septimus (old musty scientific guy) and Greenleaf (a little wacky, silly guy). I know, sometimes I have an odd interpretation of things! :)

Looking forward to your next installment - keep up the great work!
