Holy Jebus. I don't have the words to describe this chapter. Is there another?

Short, but emotional chapter. Very much looking forward to Hermione's reception at Hogwarts for all involved. Keep writing please!

Fantastic angst in this chapter...one of my favorite food groups.:) I love the way the roles are not laid out in glistening little rows for the characters, they have a depth and reality not found in alot of SS/HG fic. Keep up the great work...

OH WOW! That was amazing! I admit that the dark issues of this story keep me at bay, but your story is good and your writing is excellant. I've returned to tell you so. ;c)

OOOOooooh!!! Will the Needfire return Snape's magic? Or will he simply not need it anymore? It's so good to find that he has friends, even Malfoy, bastard though he is. I suspect Malfoy will tip them off when it is time. How ironic that Hermione is 'well'. Is she 17 in this reality yet? I always wondered why she was only 16. I know first the author stated she was the youngest, then she was the oldest. Much must have been up in the air when you two first wrote this story. I absolutely can not wait for the next chapter; you realize I am in uncharted territory now. (You read what happened to me at my LJ? I don't know what to think about that. What would you think? Email me?).

Great job on the chapter! Can't wait for your next one. I hope I don't have to wait too long!

Wow. Sorry for not reviewing the last couple of chapters. I meant to tell you again how much your fic has me captivated. Anothe wondeful plot twist. What can Snape do now? Is Hermione really better? What will happen when they meet? Were there side effects on Voldemort's end from the power absorbing spell? Just what is Lucius up to? I hope I get answers to my questions soon, but the wait will be delightful regardless. Excellent.

Really Harsh! Did Lucius want revenge as well? I can't help but think that Hermione will somehow blame herself. I hope not.

I understand Hermione's point of view: the only constant in her dysfunctional life is gone. Although Snape realized that he couldn't 'fix' her, as much as he loved her; Hermione most likely feels abandoned in the Hospital. Yet, she realizes that St. Mungos is the best place for her.

Chakra work and Reiki healing are becoming more and more common as alternative therapies in the United States. Even my Primary Care clinic recomends herbal remedies for medical issues. If the magical world truly does exist (and really, there is no evidence that such a secret society does *not*) then we are coming closer and closer to merging without conscious recognition.

Another wonderful chapter. I wish Snape was doing as well though: he has lost the person he cared for, mentally and physically, and in turn that helped him feel more alive.

But, the road to mental health is never a straight line: two steps forward then three steps back--at least that is how it seems sometime.

Dear god this is an unnerving story. I commend you, it's great. I think I may have to stop reading it for the time being however. It is too heart wrenching, and powerful to read over a prolonged period of time. Congrats ;)

Wow, unbelievable! As if I wasn't hooked enough as is, you keep dragging me into this plot. You both are amazing writers in your own rights and combined, you two kick ass. ^_^

Wicked! Snape finally grows up. Hopefully Hermione'll start too now with some actual pscych help. Which she really, really, really needs. In some ways I want to smack her for being so....well. She's still emotionaly where she was when her father first attacked her I guess. You're weaving a wonderful story here, depsite it's lack of cannoness in characters...I can understand why Hermione is, but Snape in this chapter....was a long time coming.

Realizing and verbalizing that Snape cannot fix Hermione had to be the most difficult thing he has ever done. Yet, it had to be done to break the co-dependency. I love the intensity of this story--the raw emotions, the vulnerability, the unpredictability. And Snape's line to Hermione 'you have changed every single day we have been together...' sums up what he is risking, that she may not come back to him. And that must be frightening.

    Another excellent chapter.
