This is my favorite chapter so far, outside of the branding thing. I have a feeling Pansy will need more punishments in the future.

I must say that this story keeps getting better and better. Unlike most stories I read on this site just to get my rocks off this story has real substance to it. I have reread it several times just for the story and not for the smut. Please keep up the good work.

    HOOOOOOOOWL!

This chapter was quite interesting in the juxtaposing of the two different "camps" of Ron versus Harry. Whereas Harry is pretty much living in dread of becoming dark and succumbing to the temptation of enjoying something he once considered fairly wrong, Ron really does not have this built in concern. Added to this is of course Luna; she is dead set upon expanding Ron's horizons. For example, Ron's nightmare of "crossing the line" obviously refers to Ron doing something that he thinks should be abhorrent. Yet Luna's response is to state that she is quite interested in trying "it" (whatever it may be) out. This facet alone shows a great divide between the two friends and their current situations.

I also like the added dimension of the two different Thralls and their attitudes. Ron's Thrall (Millicent) is a natural submissive and wants to be domineered by her master and her mistress. That is what she wants and fortunately for her, she is receiving. Luckily for her, her master and mistress are also very caring and receptive to her wants and needs; this is leading to a positive reinforcement for their relationships. As for Pansy, she does not want to be second to anybody. She appears to have become a Thrall merely to save her skin. However, she cannot see herself subservient to anybody, including her sister-thralls, let alone an outsider mistress like Hermione. This of course is leading her into a world of hurt. Will she be conditioned to break this rebellious streak, or will she need more punishment? I really don't see her backing down too soon; it does not seem to be in her nature. I do wonder if her refusal to accept Hermione as the Thralls' Mistress is tied into Harry's mastery of Occulmency. He apparently picked up the talent from Cissa; therefore, before he mastered it, both Bella and Cissa would have been able to "read" his emotions as to his feelings towards Hemione. Tonks already knew him, and he may not have completely mastered the skill at the time of her enthrallment. Because there is really no other reason for Pansy to refuse to acknowledge Hermione as the group's Mistress (especially given the senior Thralls' treatment of her as such) unless she does not *know* it. Cho, of course, has been being indoctrinated for a long enough period to pay attention and learn the actual power structure of the group (and the fact that she was continually handed over to Hermione probably helped there, too).

As to Hermione's conversation with her parents -- gah! Wow, talk about being open with the frank conversations. I could *possibly* see her discussing these matters (in such details) with her mom. But I have trouble seeing her father (given the attitudes in the opening chapters) being so accepting of the conversation. But, now that both Tonks and her own parents are pushing her forward, along with Hermione's dad's talk to Harry, I really would expect to see Hermione begin to move her timetable up. I would think that Pansy's continued barbs would also be an incentive.

Wow. Very, very hot, good, and interesting.

I wonder if Dave was as shocked by Emma's father as Harry was by him.

    More soon, please.

you have written a killer story!@ I am scared and oddly excited to see how Ron will 'go to far' with Luna. I do hope they have found all the spells thay need. I hope hermione can give harry the right hint. I have notice most of the tyime you have to beat him over the haed with a sbtle hint before he gets it.

Okay, I tried to tell you this over on the hpodd yahoo group and it seems I'm not the only one who feels this way so...
Do you really have to devote so much time to other characters besides Harry? I mean, it's not exactly like you could have run out of ideas for them, you just introduce these new kinks or ideas and then cut to Ron/Bullstrode or something equally disgusting. I would really prefer you make Harry and his thralls the only focus of this story, it is just far to destracting if you're jumping all over the place.
Then again, this is your story and you have every right to write it any way you choose, but I urge you to at least consider my suggestion.
That said, I enjoy it a lot(especially the earlier parts).

Hope Pansy learns her place this time. Felt that Tonks was slightly missing his time, but no biggie.

I must say, everything is changing rather fast, though the story in itself is still good, the characters drift farther and farther away from the actual book and movie chars. im not sure if this is intentional or unintentional, but just thought i'd bring it up. i dont much care for hearing about ron or neville, or anything sexual they do, for there are plenty of stories out there for that. i like this story mainly because of the focus that harry was given in the chapters. the story is also snowballing in speed, things happen very quickly compared to teh early-mid chapters, and some random scenes that mean little to none are showing up, maybe due to the fact the story is indeed moving to fast to fully undertand wuts going on. i apologize if this all seems a bit harsh, but its my true opinion, although i must say i remain a true fan to this story, as it is one of the best, and sadly one of the only hetrosexual HP fanfics with harry as the main character.
