repeatedly having your characters say they aren't homophobic and then continuing to have them have homopobic thoughts makes you homophobic. I was enjoying this fic, but now find i cannot continue, I almost already stopped at the racist birthday party.

I first found this story years ago, when it was in hiatus after the infamous anniversary dinner. I was thrilled to find it again, and finished, around end of April 2020. Im currently reading chapter 96, and holy cannoli!! Ice dragon pox?? I feel like I'm reading a description of current world events with Covid-19, and am convinced you are a witch with a time turner! Admit it, you came back to warn us. Very well written, I am looking forward to the conclusion. Twelve of five stars. =)

OH MY GOD.... that was unexpected 😂 lmao. I always figured Ron for a fudge packer. Poor Ron, he always gets a bashing in fan fic lol. I am surprised muggle ships, private one are monitored. With so many small fishing boats and I mean... so much shoreline,  being an island and all it seems so strange every ship could possibly be monitored. So is there a monotoring like... dome across the UK? What about Northern Island, is that impossible to get too as well? Is there some sort of barrier, I mean someone could just drive into Scotland from the England. What is to stop Severus from just hitching a car ride into Scotland? Also, what about the room of requirement??? What if Hermione went to Hogwarts and walked by the room of requirement and wished for a potions lab that was untraceable and contained all the ingredients they need, then Severus and Malfoy could hide there and have all the ingredients. I myself always thought the room of requirement was vastly underused. It became my mantra like when I watch horror movies that take place in woods I always shout "CLIMB A DAMN TREE" when I read harry potter I tend to shout "wtf!!!! go to the room of requirement"

I think you can get the "gist" not unnecessarily speak them all fluently. I had an Italian and Spanish roommate and I was explaining in English a vegetable. The Italian didn't understand what I was talking about so the Spanish guy said it in Spanish and then the Italian understood. It is the same with Slavic.  Czech and Polish and Slovak, Serbian and even further Bulgarian and Russian. It is easier for them to learn each others languages and some words are similiar and they can understand each other. Of course that doesn't mean a Polish person speaks automatic fluent Czech and some words are false friends which can lead to misunderstanding. Like between even Lebanese and Egypitan Arabic,  they can understand each other but some words mean opposite.

Ah so I guess this was written before we found out he is not Spanish and is a Prince on his mother's side. Also, Spanish people are European and Northern Spain and Italy have blonde hair and their are Celtic people in Spain. The dark hair of Southern Italy and Spain comes from mixing with the Moors when they conquered areas of the Mediterranean. Dark skin of Spanish in the Americas is because they mixed with Indians

Wow, 119 true chapters (not short pages) & a complete story.  Very slow build up to get started but very well done. Good writing. I appreciated the extra effort to make the disclaimer funny at the beginning of each chapter.

I'm so sorry you've been ill, and keep taking care of yourself! Even though we may be impatient, your chapters are always worth the wait, and this one was no exception. And having one period, ha! We all know that's possible, especially early in pregnancy, and I really hope that's the case :)

You have made an amazing story. Wow. The characterization of everyone is consistent. Everything falls into place and the ends tie together. I am really impressed by the amount of forethought you put int this. Also it is  really a pleasure to learn new things about different local customs, really love those little details.

And specifically I am dying to know what Severus thought of Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
