ok, lavendar can't be doing kingsley!!! that would just be wrong. as far hermione goes, i've had that feeling once or twice in my life. the need to just destroy everything in sight but it not giving you the satisfaction that you think it will. but i don't think this will deterr her. i still hold out hope! however dim it may be, i can still hope and pray that they will wind up together right?! keep it up and can't wait to see another chappie!

I'm torn between feeling bad for Hermione and the shock to her system, and standing up to cheer that she's finally let herself be angry at SOMETHING enough to let some steam out. Okay, so destroying the bathroom wasn't the most mature anger management response... But Hermione's not exactly a poster child for fully actualized adult emotions. Not just laughing and taking Ron's "joking" insult was a big step in the right direction, though! :D

Boy, Hermione's going to be riding the extreme emotional roller coaster for a while, eh? I can just imagine her rejecting everyone around her, then the next moment hugging them all close, then getting irritated because they're so close to her!

When/if she thinks about things, though, I think she'll realize that the person she's been seeing is the person she loves, whether he goes by the name Snape or Calleo or Bodgy Flopkins.

This is the first fic that I've enjoyed the detailed and informative author's notes almost as much as the story. You have truly been blessed by the muses. Lovin' chapter 38's disclaimer. LOL.

Enjoyed Harry's birthday party - I was smashing up the bathroom alongside Hermione! Poor girl! I reckon Lav's shagging Kingsley and that's why he turns a blind eye. Ron is probably heavily involved with a vibrating adult novelty for men from WWW and Molly Weasley must be a death-eater spy to have messed things up so much for Ron, Ginny, Harry and Hermione. Hermione will end up loving Calleo all the more because he IS Snape. Keep up the good work, Betz.

Compliaments to you Brit-pricker! She is very good. It is a British word and you can have my word as being born and living there its popular even now. As for the story, nice character but a little frustrating. I kept wondering when the confrontation was going to happen. And it ended with no sign of Snape I was gutted. I just find RON so dull! I love the way you write him though, just as he should be. I am a firm believer that RON should never get together with Hermione as she is too good for him. Please update soon desperate for more!

P.S. I normally read and review on Ashwinder but a friend told me you update here fast so hence the switch. Sorry if it confuses.

Holy crap yes! she finally knows. Though it is good and bad at the same time because I have been wanting her to find out yet it takes away from the the whole Calleo thing that I have gotten used to. This should be really interesting, oh I can hardly wait, Hmm I do think that she will show upon monday though, I think she won't want to but will end up going because she will defintely want to "assess" this information now and see once and for all that is it in fact Snape and really get a true picture with his mannerisms and behaviors, before she decides what her next move is. Ahhhhh I am going to be so damn anxious for the next chapter I am sure I will go MAD over here lol. That was interesting about what Molly had done to Ginny, I would like to see exactly what she did that concerns Malfoy, probably something that helped get him out of the picture or something of that nature I would guess. So I am guessing that our men of the night should be expecting another little ministry visit, damn that Moody, I'd like to pluck that damn eye of his out and feed it to the fish lol ok thats just gross. OK right well I think I covered everything I wanted to say but I have been up for now....38 hours and my eyes are chasing these letters on the screen all over the place, damn words SIT STILL! lol WONDERFUL chapter, LOTS of info and startling revelations, this has been so great so far and it is just getting better, I think that Hermione knowing will ruin something there but that it will create something between them that is even better than she imagined...eventually :) Until next time, I shall await most anxiously, keep up the fantastic writing. Those are some mighty powers of denial Hermione has working for her there ;) And i don't just mean because she's denying her own realisation that she's falling for Snape but in her belief that she hasn't yet given into temptation. I would file dry-humping a guy as having already crossed the line of temptation . . . so Hermione dear, why not just keep going? It's too late anyway! lol And the tension is killing me.

    I feel completely seduced.

I loved your exploration of Snape in his character. On the one hand he is desperate for her to figure out who he is, on the other hand he wants to prolong her ignorance. I had a strong sense that Snape was indulging Hermione's denial not merely for own sake but for his. Because while Hermione was denying their situation, he could deny how ephemeral their relationship could be once his identity is acknowledged. Seeing his cool facade crumble as he begged her to give in was truly moving and you executed it so well! I was left with goosebumps - even the way he was pressed to her back . . . though they're so close it seemed to be another form of distancing beyond the blindfold he normally wore. So intimate and so distant. It must be truly painful. Poor Severus.

You know, considering Hermione wants to be a potions mistress, she could have easily swiped some of Severus's hair and you know - with polyjuice on herself - she'd figure out pretty quickly who he is. The books never said you couldn't use polyjuice in a trans-gender way. For this not to have occured to her given how much she allegedly wants to know who he is . . . I think she knows. She knows and is completely not ready to face it, so why would she try something sneaky like that when she could delay it some more?

As much as this story is so beautiful to me it always leaves me so disheartened. The complicated situation is further complicated by a complete unwillingness in both girls to 'be the bad guy' as it were and take what they want. In Ginny's case there seems more reason for not asking for a divorce because Ginny (for whatever reason) really believes that Harry would kill Draco. Hermione .. . hmmm. Loyalty to Ron, not only her husband but her friend? is the reason why none of them seem to be seriously considering divorce because that is extremely rare in the wizarding world?

Keep up the excellent work I'm utterly enthralled :)

I have been away from Aff for far too long... but I arrive back to 5 new chapters of this fic. Absolutely excellent! The current chapter was the icing on the cake... soooo much sexual frustration. Well written and highly addictive :) Can't wait for the next chapter to arrive :D

Argh! Yes, I'm ready to whack Hermione upside the head! How can she sit on his lap and grind herself down on his pulsating erection whilst blindfolded and running her hands over his face and hair without going to kiss him. In my book, giving a man a lapdance is pretty unfaithful anyway - she might as well go for the full-on shag.

It would be hilarious if she suddenly realised, mid-blindfolded shag, that it was Snape all along. Are you mean enough to do that to Hermione? After this last chapter, I certainly could. ;)

Still loving it - keep up the good work, Betz.

Coffee is a main staple of mine. I get cranky without caffeine, but a good cup of something strong can have me bouncing off the walls, yes. lol.

I was ready to slap Hermione upside the head and say "JUST BONK HIM ALREADY YOU FOOL! ...and leave your husband altogether, while you're at it" (Every time I open an HP book, I'm disappointed to learn that Ron is still alive. Harry too, for that matter.)

But enough with my babbling. This chapter was an enjoyable tease, enough to satisfy the craving for some intimacy but leaving plenty of room for the bigger and better course to (hopefully, if Hermione isn't a complete fool haha) come. ^_^

What an AWESOME chapter! It leaves you aching for more! I love how they just teased each other all the way through the interlude. Then he as much as admits how much he wants her. Oh! She has better willpower than I would! To know that the man she felt so much desire for wanted her too... Especially being so unhappy in her marriage. Wonderful Chapter! I anxiously wait for more! Of course, I do understand that she is just starting to put two and two together. Could make for a very painful moment when she discovers who he is!
