You should get an Oscar or something like that for writing so well.
I just love a story that goes slow like this and makes everything
just build. I would really like it if you could e-mail me when you update.
    Thanks. ^_^

Now I want that cake and I don't have the skills to even make the short cut recipe. Hmph.

And I think Hermione is being entirely too thick. She needs to figure out what's wrong with Ron, figure out who Severus is, and start shagging already. hehe. I'm just kidding, you're going at your own pace and it makes the anticipation sweeter. Please update soon.

can the sexual tension be any tighter?!?!? oh but it is so excrusiatingly wonderful! i kept wanting to just scream "KISS HER!!" or "KISS HIM!!" but, i have to admit, i wanted to do that because it was so well written, i felt the passion and desire and need in my very own soul. grr, they better just get it on soon. ooooh, the next thursday night visit would be absolutely lovely! i honestly don't know what to think of severus though. even though hermione is getting to know him as "calleo" i think that she will not see the same potion's master that she knew in her hogwart's years. he is doubting himself way to much here. i think she will see this new person, one that was changed by the war and by his current circumstance. i can't wait to see what the marriage counselor has to say about ron and hermione's un-love as it were. i honestly don't see how they can save anything. ok, and who exactly was miss brown screwing in her office? ron? harry? trevore bloody spawn? oh yeah did you mean to name him the same as neville's toad? cause if you did, that's freakin' sweet! he is a bit of a jerk, yeah? ok, great job updating so quickly! keep it up!
    much love!

I can't tell you how much I trully enjoy this particular fic. Your delving into the characters inner most workings just astounds me. Bravisima!!! The pacing is excellent. I thought you ought to know I have abandoned(not completely but I am behind for realease date) my rereading of JKR OOTP inorder to catch this particular fic.

I also wanted to suggest "That old Black Magic","Unforgettable", and "Under my Skin". Another song keeps popping into my head(it is a Gershwin tune I believe, but I am not entirely sure) it is from an old black and white film with Ginger Rodgers and Fred Astaire, it is an instrumental and extremel;y haunting. ;) If I remember the title I will send it to you.

I absolutely LOVE this story. The food descriptions alone make me wish I were in Hermione's place. I can't get enough.

I LOVE this story! Keep the chapters coming. I love unresolved sexual tension. It makes it so much hotter then when people just fall in bed right away. You are an amazing writer! I also like how you put websites in the author's notes about things in the chapters. It adds a whole new dimension. Please update! I'm dying to know what happens!!!

Wonderful, as always! And oh, your detailed author's notes! ;)
I loved the bit about Merlin and Morgan, and their attempt to staunch the flow of Christianity through old Britain. What a clever tidbit to insert into the story, and definitely something i could picture Hermione and Severus discussing vehemently.
Your story, madam, is addictive. I wait with baited breath for the moment Severus finally reveals himself. I hope Hermione will prove him wrong, and love him just the same.

"I could have spread my wings and done a thousand things I've never done before. I'll never know what made it so exciting, while all at once my heart took flight, I only know when he began to dance with me, I could have danced, danced, danced all night!" *sigh* (If you didn't already know, I listen to musicals while I write.) ;-) I know exactly what made it so exciting! ;-) So, only have to wait until Monday, eh? How's dinner with Hermione's folks going to be? I'm VERY interested to see the Thursday night date with Hermione blindfolded. That is very....hmmmm....erotic. I can just see her reaching up and drawing her fingers along his face and his long hooked nose. *sigh* How many more chapters must I wait until Ron and Hermione have their anniversary?? Hurry! Hurry!!! ~Ginny

It IS selfish of him to delay his unmasking! Because I wildly anticipate the moment! :)
I adore this story. I read every chapter with mixed feelings, mostly dominated by a certain anxiety. Much of it has to do with the part of the plot that deals with Hermione and Ginny's dissolving marriages. Let me explain...
I've always had issues with hollywood movies regarding the treatment of adultery. It seems that if someone 'cheats' on their spouse in a film, even with a person they love genuinely, they are punished in some way and the relationship is not allowed to continue. I've always viewed it as a sort of moral subtext to the films, and I find it offensive. In the real world, marriages dissolve. Many individuals fall for the security of coupledom (like Hermione in your story) and enter into the marital contract with a person they aren't fully compatible with. Then they hang on for years in a marriage founded on mediocrity, stifling their true passionate potential.
Hermione, in your story, seems to be caught up in the morality of the situation. I cringe at the thought of her remaining married to Ron because conventional morals dictate that she must do so. Especially since she's such an intelligent character. But of course, the fact that you are writing her in this way is evidently a carefully-planned part of the plot.
Ginny, on the other hand, has bypassed conventional morality. Though she clearly loves and respects Hermione's efforts to save both their marriages, she refuses to be stuck in a marriage to someone who is better off being her friend. I like the duality you're creating with Hermione and Ginny... i just hope Hermione will use that big brain of hers and realize that her marriage was probably a mistake, and is unhealthy for both her and Ron. After all, it isn't fair to him either.
Just listen to me blab on and on! ;) I don't usually leave such lengthy reviews, but I am enjoying your story so much and i really admire your writing and your attention to detail, so I figured I'd actually stop and think about what I wanted to say in the review. Just to let you know how much i appreciate a story of this calibre.
Anyway, I'm going to stop before I give us both a headache. Keep up the writing, i eagerly await the next chapters!
    Cheers!

I just want to take a moment to tell you how much I am enjoying this well-crafted story. It's a pleasure to read... I stayed up far too late last night just to read a few more chapters. I'm not finished reading all the posted chapters yet- I will review again when I am- but I needed to communicate to you how fantastic your writing is.
Oh, and I love the creative disclaimers. Delightful! :) Keep up the bloody amazing work.
    Cheers!

So Ron is making an effort now - Hermione's going to feel so guilty, isn't she? Glad to hear everyone was barking up the wrong tree with the RW/LB affair (seeing as I never spotted it in your text - and there I was thinking I was unobservant).

I really enjoyed the trip to the Muggle London bookshop and the idea that the Muggle world looks garish and strange to Wizards. Central London looks and sounds garish and strange to me these days too, and I'm a Muggle Londoner, LOL. NB: if that bookshop was meant to be that famous 5-storey bookshop in Charing Cross Road (mentioning no names), I've never heard of ANYONE being helped by an assistant in there - not even when I got stuck in the lift! Although, admittedly, that was back in the '80's and I WAS weighing the lift down with my pile of the sort of occult books that Ginny laughed at.

The dance lesson sounds like it will be very romantic and I'm looking forward to seeing Sev put his best foot forward and hopefully holding Hermione very, very close indeed (sigh!).

My curiosity is growing regarding SS's wife - I hope we are at some point going to get the full details.
