Ch 23 - a roller coaster of a chapter... the downer of finding out what happened to Lavender and Parvati, the flowers reminding us of the dead ... then the funny, with Severus demanding his guests eat dinner NOW (what, no dessert involving chocolate syrup, cream, and honey?) and the cassoulet wars. Forget Severus the Sex God - I want him to come over and COOK! Mmmm.... duck.... Ironic that Hermione tries to save Ginny's marriage while Ginny tries to save Hermione's marriage - and they BOTH need divorces. So does Lavender give Blaise any special favors, since he helped her escape? Thanks for the new chapter!!

AAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!!!!! how could you?!?! well, at least you did as i asked and no "make up". this was good though. i love the way snape got rid of his friday night client. that was cool. now, hermione really needs to tell ginny about calleo. i think ginny will be able to help her. but maybe not until after snape reveals himself? hmm. oh yeah, the note that lavendar composed is great! snape should send something like that. lol! anyways, great job this chapter. i can't wait to see another

    much love

One the best stories I've read! I love it how it's not a lovey-dovey smut fic, and it deals with some real relationship issues. I went through a similar situation as your Hermione & Ron, and it wasn't pretty...nothing in common, no spark, not a whole lot of effort.....

Though I absolutely HATE the ministry for how they're treating Sverus and Draco, I think it would be good if you gave them their just deserts at the end or something.

Anyway, keep up the great work, and hope you update soon.

This is so well written. Chapter 22 gave us quite a bit more insight. Is Ron cheating or did he cheat on Hermione? Saying he stayed with a friend is vague. LOL. I did crack up at Severus likening Mrs. Nettleton to a screaming rabbit. I have heard them in my yard and that sound is NOT pretty. Thank you for the quick updates and the thorough checking by your betas. You are all doing a fantastic job. Looking forward to chapter 23.

What a fantastic, rivettingly interesting chapter! Loved the dinner-party drama! Ron really is vile and deserved everything he got. I guess there must be more to the Rabbit woman than just a passing irritation to Sev - where's this going, I wonder? Keep up the good work.

Ch 22 - okay, add Mr Nettleton to the hit list - him, Ron, Harry, and Moody into the oubliette! NOW! Was Lavender irritated at Severus and Draco at first? Scary, the idea of Lavender turning against them.... I'm glad Hermione didn't back down from her ultimatum to Ron about divorce or counseling; I was afraid she would, until the wine gave her enough gumption to demand counseling. Although I doubt counseling can make Ron into a better man. Her mum should've told her that there are marriages that can't be saved because they shouldn't have ever been. Bummer... Hmm, you could cheer me up by writing a lemon with Severus "directing" the made-for-Pensieve scene with Mrs Nettleton, Blaise (with his own mask), and another wizard. But that oubliette would REALLY cheer me up! I'm sure St Mungo's has an oubliette....

I really like this story. I can wait to find out what little witch Ron has taken up with, because that is the only way Hermione is ever going to leave him. Is it one of the player's girlfirend or player's wives' friend, like they fixed him up with her becuase they hate Hermione?

Thank you for a wonderful and compelling read. I can't wait until the next chapter comes out. I'll be on tenterhooks until then. Keep up the fantastic work and please lock Moody into a wardrobe containing an abnormally large and rabid blast-ended skrewt for me!

another awesome chapter. i can understand hermione's guilt here. it's basically the same guilt we will see in harry in the coming books. i think shacklebolt telling her that other people had felt the same helped out a lot. ahh how i love an unimtimdated snape. moody has no idea does he? for his insesint preaching of "CONSTANT VIGILENCE" he could practice some himself around snape and malfoy. boy he is an ass hole though isn't he. parannoya at it's worst! as for this converstaion ron wants to have. please don't let it be an "i'm sorry, let's have sex and make up" that hermione accepts. i really want her out of this marriage. it's so stifling and she can finally feel it. granted, it would be hard to do if snape were not free to go, but it's going to be a while yet. i think hermione needs to feel free for a while and not rush right from one horrible marriage into a relationship that could be potentially deadly (imagine being caught on the lamb by the likes of moody. ugh). anyways, i leave you here and hope to see a new chappie soon
    much love!

Hmmmm, I can think of some lovely choice words for Moody right now...none of them are very nice. What did MacNair get hauled away for? Too bad not just Ginny is coming over to see Hermione. Hermione did say she wanted to confide in her...oh well...maybe not time yet. Ron needs to come clean about being an arse and just leave Hermione in peace. Okay, that's enough. Glad that you updated. Love this story. Yay for Betas! They truly are the best! ~Ginny

Ch 21 - okay, if you won't kill Harry, Ron and Moody, how about an "accidental" Dementor's Kiss for them? Sheesh, what a lech Moody was, asking about Severus' clients - clearly an invasion of his employer's client files (Lavender's). Umm, it's okay if the aurors discover that Severus went to Lavender's company, where he is not needed as a gigolo? Hermione is really going to cave in and let Ron come back, isn't she? Sigh... I hope she at least has the nerve to tell Harry to go home early. I actually feel bad for Macnair, being harassed with a surprise inspection and then arrested; are he and Zabini also among Lavender's gigolos? Triple-rations of butterbeer for Dheef and Marf and your betas! And a prize for Shacklebolt; what an awful job, working with Moody.
