An excellent story. The characterization of Hermione and Severus are exceptionally well written. Once again, you have managed to construct an image that has lingered in my mind. Hermione

Oh, geez...can that get any more sadder? Poor things, Love isnt always an easy road to travel down. I hope she gets through the University with amazing speed and runs all the way back into his arms.

    Wonderful work here.

Ah, finally, the life-altering backgammon match. I feel so so sorry for both Hermione and Severus. Hermione, in particular - for she was so sure of her love for Severus. However, I can totally understand how Severus feels. No matter what Hermione says, if she stayed with him, she'll always wonder at the back of her mind what life apart from Severus would be like. I think this time apart will be good for Hermione. If she is so sure as she feels she is, then time will pass before she knows it, and her choice is all the more firm. Unfortunately, this time apart for Sevewoulwould undoubtedly be dismal. Worse than being a lonely Potions Master in his self-imposed dungeon, he'll be a lonely *heartbrokened* Potions Master in his self-imposed emotional exile. Each turn, each moment would be fraught with a sense that Hermione would not come back - a hopeless, pessimistic existence; and until she does, Severus will not be living. *wipes tears*

Oh, please get the next chappie up soon! I feel so much for your Severus that I want to see his happy ending so badly.

YAY! As sad as that was, it was a great chapter, Ida. Severus kind of did this to himself. I know he was worried about her, but if he hadn't been so "concerned" and gone to visit her so much, it wouldn't have been as hard on her . . . maybe. Could be wishful thinking. It would have been rude for him not to show concern, but when is Sev always nice? Anyways, praise to Harry for sticking by his friend, I wish he would have given Snape a little more of a piece of his mind. However, I think he said just enough to allow Snape to confirm what a complete bastard he is, even with the best of intentions of leading her to a life outside of Hogwarts.

Bravo! It was worth the wait.

    Thanks!

I'm so glad you updated. It has been a long time in coming. What interesting plot twists... And such care taken for it.... It was a great chapter. I'm waiting to find out what happens between Sev and Hermione (just like everyone else heh). Will she want to stay in Hogwarts now to be closer to Sev who offers her safety? Or will she leave because of the memories... Only an update will tell *wink* I'll be waiting! ^_^

    Keep Writing!

Wow what a fantastic, griping story! Your writing is very impressive and I am on the edge of my seat w/ anticipation as to what Hermione's decision will be and now if she will recover from that horrible encounter w/ Malfoy and his goons! Poor thing life has sucked for her almost since this story started. Please tell me that she will have some happiness soon!!!

Well, finally...another chapter. I was just about to give up on you girl. Okay...well not completely. I love this story so far. I hope that Severus finally realizes that Hermione needs to stay with him and quit harping on her having a *normal life* Like there is such a thing. Good work and I look forward to more..SOON!!!

Bloody Hell! I know what you're gonna do now. You're gonna not update for another couple weeks like you did last time, and i'm gonna sit here and wonder what the crap is wrong. If she dies, or gets brutally hurt, etc. i will personally make sure that my rabid wombat collection comes after you and attacks you. I want to read another chapter of this now, but Nooooo, you won't let me , will you? I hate FREAKING CLIFFHANGERS!!!!!!!!!! Why do you people do this to me? I'm just a lonely, high school girl who finds solace in reading stories about the sexy Potions Master and the brilliant minded Miss Granger. Is there anything wrong with that?? Why can't we all just be friends??? Why can't you bloody update?? It's not like i'm asking you to find a suitible llama instructor or anything, sheesh! Just update, will you?!?!?!?
