The whole thing is intoxicating brilliant! Devillish in its premise, but brilliant in execution! I must say though, is this whole "Higley's sister haunting ghost" subplot really necessary? Isn't Snape enough of a tortured soul? I'm guessing SS was set to marry the Higsley girl when he joined the Death Eaters, selling her out to Voldemort in the process? Yes? Its the best I've come up with -- she's the embodiment of his regrets in this area...? Anyway, again, I heart this story! It's delicously twisted.

Eh! You updated! I luff this fic, with all my heart! I am loving this plot. The condition of the spectral woman is rather disturbing. But the way Snape and Higsley act, you except Snape to of once accidentily kiled her somehow, but now..... This seems like a cold-blooded murder. Very interesting.... Unless! Higsley, the brother, did it, when he found out about his sisters realtionship with Snape,a nd so Snape felt guilty about it.... Hmm i have no idea, but it so ensnaring.. Please update again soon! This story is like drugs, you always need more!

Just caught up with your story and am finding that it is getting very exciting right now. The Higsley thing is really gripping and nicely done, so far. I am concerned as to Ron's reaction to HH/SS's relationship - wasn't Ron with H before? J Higlsey is the rebel's weakest link right now, isn't he? And what of the Claudes? Oh yes, there's plenty going on. Keep up the good work.

Sorry about that last one! On a lighter note, since Snape really is on the good side, I don't think he should be responsible for her death. It could have been something as innocent as inviting her over to study for a potions NEWT, and something horrible happened to her while she was there. She seems to haunt the garden as well as the house; perhaps Snape was showing her some medicinal potions herbs growing out there. She couldn't have died, though, since her brother said Snape ruined her life. I believe Snape really needs a break eventually (preferrably not his skull again!). Snape is just so misunderstood, and trouble seemed to follow him everywhere he went, through no fault of his own. There! I said it because after I went to bed, that last scene bothered me, so I just had to post another one. There's already enough torment and strife in the real world. I'd love it if you brought some of your wicked humor into the story again! Particularily when Snape and Hermione are locking horns. I really love this; please don't keep us poor readers hanging too long!

Ooooh! This story is so good! Severus would have had to do something really evil to her! Nothing less than being responsible for her death inside Snape Manor or gardens will do! How about he got her pregnant (oh, so cliche) but then Snape and the Death Eaters held her against her will until the baby was born, then they...sold it to yak herders in northern Tibet? Just kidding! After she gave birth, they killed the baby in a sadistic ritual and forced her to watch?
