I've read some doozies in my time but this bad boy takes the cake. Your writing is good. The plot line is COMPELLING. The selfishness is visceral and clinching.
It is a doozy because there is no way I have any sympathy or compassion for the protagonist or the antagonist. I want them thrown under the bus and be at the mercy of someone with good faith and good will.
Are all your stories like this?
