Hey, just wanted to say I love the way you write your Draco. I've been following along for a while and have not left a review before now, but I just had to after this last chapter. I really like the blend between the ambigiously dark Draco, who will do what he has to, to survive and the rightous, good guy Draco that is struggling to come out.
I can't wait to see what you do with him. Did I mention your Blaise is H.O.T.? Keep up the good work.

Okay, I'm sorry I didn't review the last couple of chapters but I got all caught up in reading :) I'm becoming very fond of Narcissa. She touched my mothers heart and I'm cheering for her. This whole confrontation was so well written and dark. I especially liked how Narcissa instantly turned into a simpering wife, blushing for Lucius the moment there was company. She is like a live wire. I don't think I've ever read a fic where I liked her so much.

Draco stood before the mirror in his bathroom; he needed to get his composure together before he took one step into that study. If his father saw him looking like this he

I loved Lucius's fear of Narcissa, how you portray her as a very powerful, very beautiful witch that lives in a gilded cage. I like it when authors flesh out Narcissa and make her more than just a money hungry, stuck up, alcaholic.

VERY VERY VERY INTERESTING. The Heir Privilege, huh? Not bad, I say. Not bad at all.

The interaction with Yummie Blaise... yummie. You know me and triggered this: I could easily picture them kissing, and hugging and doing all the kinds of things you won't write about, but i LOVE reading about.

I'm also glad that Laurel and Ginny will become friends...however, Hermione will be all by herself now.... and fighting over Yummie Harry.

The whole chapter is quite nice because it deals with important matters, it is filled with danger and yet, you managed to keep it flowing. They are aware of the danger, but act like adults. Cool.

Uh oh. I hope Draco gets out before Lucius gets down there. I can't help but to think that Blaise will turn on Draco. He just kind of gave that vibe, when he was talking about the death eaters. I honostly thought Laurel was talking to Hermione, instead of Ginny.I was surprised. Can't wait to see what happens next.

That was an AMAZINGLY long chapter...how do you do that? I can barely pull of 3000 words in two weeks! And you covered so much this time, too. Which brings me to my review: Let's see, where to begin, where to begin??

Ah...Blaise. So THIS is the Blaise you've been talking about. Yet another talent secured for the Light (score!). You know, I don't remember whether you've given us a reason for Draco's (and Blaise's, too, if it's different) betrayal towards Voldemort. All I remember was that he was keeping an eye on his father (for what I assume were personal reasons), and then the nightclub, where Laurel gave him an even greater incentive to switch his allegiences. So what is it just because he's a suave, cunning little bastard who saw which side was winning? Or does the guy actually have morals (I suppose he does - I mean, he put his life down for Harry twice)?

It's funny. I wonder what fuels this desire to change, to point in the other direction. In novels and books, it's always a bright, noble cause, one that seems almost sacrificial. But one who is "dark" usually has ambition as a leading quality, which is obviously entirely related to the self. "Good" is usually defined as "protecting the whole" or "leaving egotistical thoughts behind to further the growth of the human race." It seems a bit outrageous to me to say that a person who is selfish and self-preserving will suddenly be ready to sacrifice themselves for a glorious cause, one that they fought just days or months or moments before. It doesn't seem possible. What could the Light have to offer agents of egotism? Of course, that's not to say that Draco was - or is - selfish. In fact, he seems just the opposite; you've shown he was ready to die for Harry, the key to Voldemort's downfall. But again, nature vs. nurture. Draco was taught the ideas and hopes of the Death Eaters. Perhaps it wasn't labeled quite so glaringly, but Lucius essentially preached duty and cowardice (selfish in nature) and cunning. When you're young, innocence blinds you, and I'm sure Draco took to these values as "normalcy." He didn't know any better. So how did he find right from wrong? When did he evaluate his own definitions of good and evil, and decide which side to take? I can't believe that one is simply born "good."

Sigh. Well, there I've gone again, and completely ignored the plot points. My thoughts just run away with me sometimes - can't help it. Heh heh, oops. On another note, I KNEW IT WAS GINNY! After long and inconsistant thought, that is. I figured it out! She seems like a pretty spunky girl, and fun to be around. Her and Laurel's chemistry is great. Actually, I have a question about one of their conversations: "I

Oh, I feel so bad for poor Draco. I wonder what good deeds he has been up to. Some kind of muggle underground thing? Rebellous Draco, emm, delicious. I also liked
the part about him being pale and sickly as a child because of his awful environment. But it's so sad about his mother, loyal but unloving. So sad.

Ohmigosh I am so late in writing this review for Chapter 34! I am so sorry...and I'd feel worse if I hadn't already given you some feedback! What a fun chapter! I loved the reveal of Ginny as Laurel's partner in crime and as you know, I think having Ginny in the know about the bonding and Draco's reasoning for going to Diagon Alley is brilliant! I loved Laurel and Ginny doing the Scooby thing (but wait...that'd make Ginny Daphne and Laurel Velma...so Draco as Fred and Ron as Shaggy and Harry...as Scoob? OK...scratch that analogy!)

LOL! Ginny getting an eyeful of Harry as she steals the cloak! Whee! What fun. And I liked the moment where Laurel gets all sappy and hugs Ginny, and Ginny doesn't know how to handle it. But being the practical girl she is, Ginny sees an ally in Laurel and is lining her up before Hermione even gets there. Good for you, Ginny!

I enjoyed Draco's inner thoughts about what an advantage it was to be so devastatingly hansome...he is so full of himself! I love it. And the conversation with Blaise was fantastic! Love those two "men of action" together. And I thoroughly enjoyed Blaise strutting down the street afterward.

Draco's handling of Ezra showcased the cool and calculating blueblood Draco so well. Haughty Draco is fun to read, too!

Ginny discovers that Laurel can do wandless magic. I just know that that will be important down the line...

Well, Lorett dear, another lovely chapter, I must say! I'm enjoying the Ginny/Laurel dynamic and the Draco/Blaise dynamic a lot. I cant wait to see Harry's reaction to the whole affair. Oh, and Lucius' reaction too. Hee hee. Wow! I can't wait for Chapter 35!!! But have you noticed how patient I have gotten lately? Oh, now stop it. Really Lorett, loud guffaws are not ladylike. Stop laughing at me. I really am getting more patient, really. OK...you can stop giggling like a hyena now...

(Grabs you in a big hug and twirls you around in The Gutter with me. Whoops! Almost knocked over the Lava Lamp!) Keep writing, darling! I continue to adore your story and can NOT wait to find out what happens next. Love you, sweets! MWAP!
