I'm frustrated with where it ended.its cut off, not resolved. 2 more chapters would make it perfect

Your story is brilliant (yes, I'll just pretend you're still around and reading this). I just finished reading it and to make it even better, it's not complete, that I already knew, but you didn't stop at an awkward time, or left the reader to rot with a major mystery that will never be solved. Basically it's just the ending missing, we can just assume they lived happily ever after, or not or whatever.

I understand that life happens, and the author often evolves and just can't go back to an old story. Frankly, I like it better this way, I hate to see a story I liked being butchered by a hasty ending (usually the fluffy wedding or such) because there has to be a "The End" line. No, there doesn't have to.

That being said, I would have like to read more by you (I'll read the other reviews and your LJ instead, as I don't feel like parting with the story just yet). Beautiful love story, I loved how rich their shades of grey were, how Draco was as dark as he could be without the reader starting to hate him or becoming estranged from him.

And Snape is the one that saves the day, as the hero he is and always should be, kudos for that ^^

    Great story, thank you !

I am really enjoying this story! I'm wondering, though, if you're going to upload the last chapters...

I do love the idea of the backstory, though, and how Draco goes back and forth from being crazy and deluded to being sane and scared.

wow. i love how the story started out comedic and as things were slowly unraveled, the darkness came about! very interesting!
although i'm still dying to know blaise's part in draco's little scheme! what did he have to do with hermione that he needed her to remember? so he could take her from draco??
it tears at me how draco suffers. :( haha. he's always got it tough i guess.
wow. who would have guessed from the first chapter that all of that would lead to this ... slightly.. unstable draco!!
i actually remember reading this story from a whiles back, but then i forgot about it because there's no way to get notified if there's an update. anyways. i'm so glad i've rediscovered this!!!! so so so glad! but i hope you've got an update for us soon!!! i'm dying to know the rest of the story!!!! haha

It's quite the pity that you've abandoned this.

Honestly, I loved it. And, I loved how dark it got, because the beginning was very eyebrow raising... such that I almost stopped reading it... I'm glad I didn't.

Oh well... I suppose this will have to be added to the WIP graveyard. *sighs woefully*

Back again to review. Sorry for the delay.

    Here goes:

"Around three in the afternoon, Hermione used a Portkey to appear in a deserted alleyway in Muggle London, near Piccadilly Square. She also promptly appeared on a fresh mound of dog droppings.

Right upon impact she knew exactly what she had stepped in. The way her foot was squishing around and the stench was unmistakable.

    she thought sourly.

It's writer-in-waiting again. I've been meaning to do this for quite some time now because I enjoyed your story so much, but I have put if off for more reasons than one. For one thing, I haven't seriously reviewed anyone in a long while so I might be a bit rusty. Secondly, I always find giving suggestions to an author quite strange because I always feel like I am criticizing the work. Lastly, me previous ventures in reviewing got me flames and angry messages from the author's friends because they felt as if I was being too harsh. Well if tehy'd cease with teh fecking mary Sues maybe I would have been less blunt. Anyway that's int he past and I am over it for the most part but I haven't seriously reviewed any story in a looong time. But I feel like oyu deserve it and I feel awful for putting it off for so long. Forgive me, but yeah I am lazy.

So since I came into reading the story around the sixteenth chapter, most of it had already been written so avoided reviewing because I felt like it was nearly finished. However, after careful reconsideration, I've thrown that out the door and decided to go and review every chapter. Granted, I'm no master in writing nor am I the best effin' reviewer ever, but I know authors truly appreciate any and all reviews

    Chapter 1

Fascinating story. I believe the real charm of this story is the uniqueness of it. Usually Draco/Hermione stories start out trying to make me buy into the fact that Draco and Hermione have had this long standing obsession with each other, or this flash of insight into how wonderful the other one is. Needless to say, I've never been very convinced as this isn't one of my top (but not my worst) couplings. Even though, in this chapter you did describe that Draco always had the obsession with Hermione, taking it from the first part of the story's perspective, I really love how you built up their relationship and their attraction to one another. I had feared from Chapter 1 that it would fall into the category of obsession [love] at first sight, but then you made Alex her chosen crush, and developed everything quite wonderfully. The turn the story has taken is not completely abrupt, as you did ease the way into it, and though I'm sad for the lost of the comedy and light heartedness of the beginning chapters, this is all turning out quite nicely. I'm not sure why Snape decided to wipe Harry's memories, and why Harry isn't more angry at the fact that he did, since Harry could have helped in keeping Draco and Hermione away from each other (although he did so probably unconciously). Also glad for the fact that Harry is able to care for Draco still, despite all that is happening. The Lavender thing was surprising, and yet another uniqueness of this story, and one that I don't entirely mind since I dislike Ginny. I like the Lucius chapter too, that was a neat little show into Draco sinking into darkness. Wonderful job and I look forward to more. I do hope that you are able and willling to restore the light heartedness from before, while keeping in mind this darkness, so that we can have an ending with a true shade of gray.
