Yes. (sighs) Here I am again.

Petalsoft, I just can't help it.
There are times when I just think /What more can a mere woman say?/ That's why I had planned to sit it out. To let the inner workings of my mind revel in the complexities of this masterpiece. Debating inwardly about possibilities and theories. That's what a person who doesn't review, does. But I don't think that's possible.
The days of old are no more.
I know that I've said plenty about your talents. But have I truly thanked you for what you have given us?
I have not. Therefore, Petalsoft, I say thank you. With all my being, I thank you. You've taken time out of your life, to give this story a piece of your soul. Whenever we read this story, let's remember that a part of the author - their life's experiences, is there as well. It comes from within themselves, and in a way, reveals who they are. It's a consensual form of voyeurism, writing is. You could have given up long ago, but you're still here. I thank you.
No doubt, you have responsibilities. You have loved ones. There were good days. And there were bad ones. But you kept writing, and I thank you. For nine months, you've nurtured and carried this story. Nine months! Yet it came to term so much sooner. From it's first baby steps, to glory; so many have been there with you.
What a precious gem you've given birth to.

And I pause, as I wipe away tears at times, because I was greatly moved. Maybe it's just the feminine hormones. (It's about time for You-Know-Who to pay a visit. And no, it ain't Voldemort.) I'm feeling quite silly right now, to be honest. So the sooner I make my comments, the quicker I can wash my face. First of all, when I read the title of the chapter, I became fearful, and I don't know why. Snape using the memory globe to deceive Those-Who-Dwell-Below went across my mind, but I just couldn't see how he could do it. I was baffled! Now, thank goodness I've found out!
And thank you *SO* much for Lucius! Ah, ever the faithful servant. Whew! I was worried for a minute, there! I have almost fallen in love with Lucius. *ALMOST* - In a platonic way, of course. Oh, there's so much to comment on; so many moments! I must admit I feel bad for Dumbledore, though. And I just loved Harry's more finesse version of: 'I told you so.' I could feel myself *glowing* when he made that comment. Glowing with pride, eh? What maturity that kid has!
I enjoyed seeing Bugger-boo again too! The form in which the Guardians appeared to Snape was interesting.
I liked that! And before I forget: "Men in kilts. Yum. Now, bend over boys and take your spankings like men." (*sigh* They just don't make em' like that anymore.) I *LOVE* your knowledge of history! If you would have put in a bit more, I would have to change my panties! I would have thought of them as ancient Pictish warriors, but they were a bit more....ahem...decent. Either way, that's the way that I see them; and it would have been great if they could have had a little fun with Snivellus. Piling on top of him and giving him the business. - One by one.
Payback on behalf of house elves everywhere! Get where I'm going here? Oh, I was hoping that they'd see right through him! Something's gotta be done about that, Petalsoft! What a breach in security, and all it took was some clever planning and deception! After all is said and done, they've gotta fix that!
If it had been Voldemort instead......*shudders*

And these sentences right here left a feeling in my heart of hearts that I have yet to describe: "There was sense of smugness, of mocking, of daring Harry to come and face him. Harry could sense no panic on Voldemort's part."

    Chilling. Voldemort's no joke.

That scene in the Hall of Portraits was something to behold! Yes, *behold*! Cause I was there. Brilliant writing, Petalsoft! What a moment! The anger, the shouting, the blood - I love those damn portraits! Oh, I can just imagine their fury and frustration; wanting to intervene but unable to! Shaking and emitting rivers of blood! WHAT AN AUTHOR! For a minute there, I believed they had a chance!
    *sighs wearily*
The Triad. What more can I say about those kids. Wise beyond their years. They, and their relationship with each other, is why we love this story,so.

They're beauty in motion. As intriguing as individuals as they are together. That's what makes them so fascinating!

That's what they are - *fascinating*! We can't get enough of them! Some of us just prefer the sexual aspect of their union. That's wonderful as well, but I find that I'm more interested in how they relate and communicate with one another. I'm just as happy, perhaps even more so, with them lying on a couch by the fire, having a chat. That - well... fascinates me. I get to know them a lot better that way, and that's what I prefer.
Sex isn't love, and how they relate, otherwise, defines who they are and what they have. And that's *LOVE*. Sex just enhances that; It's an enhancer.
Even now, they refuse to be separated. I have witnessed such beauty, MUCH beauty, this night.
You talk about tears? Oh, what tears! I'm in love with *their* love!
I've fallen in love with it and that's that!
And Harry's words to Draco.... haunting. What truth to those words! That's bold, mature thinking on Harry's part, and I shudder at the thought that Draco may actually have to kill Snape. Can you believe that? Yet, despite his misjudments, I'm comforted by the fact that Dumbledore will be with them.
Leave it to you, Petalsoft, to leave me crying, yet amazed, at the same time! Good thing I remembered to bring a hankie this time.

I'm honored to know of you, Petalsoft. I'm honored to be your reader.

Ch 57 - Oh my goodness what an eventful chapter. I'm troubled that the triad is separated physically although I know you indicated the blood would bind them. Snape fears the Dark Lords have a hold over his life...ha! wait and see what happens if a vengeful Merlin puts Snape in his sights.

I hope your next chapter is posted soon...this is too exciting to wait for.
