Most excellent chapter yet again, you are a legend, Petalsoft. :) ANd what a way to end, not knowing what Snape is going to do and I'm still not sure which side Lucius is on. I may be wrong about Meri, she can't be Tom Riddle's mother because she died giving birth to him - unles you've given us another twist in the tale, of course. :) Loving it.

Hello just finished reading What a Witch Needs. At first I was hesitant when you had Draco slam Harry against that wall in the first bathroom scene, I thought you were going to have Draco be the dominate one, truefully realy doesnt fit with the plot line of the series, but i made myself continue reading, and boy am i glad i did! Have to say that you have done a beautiful job so far. Just beautiful, my hats off to you, you have made me love the idea of Harry, Hermione, and Draco in this triad of your plot line. You have blended well the three of them together, they actully completment each other. You have created a perfect blend of light and dark, giving, taking, and your smut!!! Good god! So many times throughout this story i have fearcely wished that i was Hermione. The devotions that Harry and Draco have to Hermione just makes me want to cry!! And screem in envy! In a way im kinda glad that Ron isnt in this picture, even in canon he's a bit of a prude, (thanks to dear dear mother). But I dont think that Ron could even be apart of the triad, he's a bit to quick of temper, prudeish, and raciest ((I think thats the word I want to use. Plus judgemental) and I realy havent seen anyone write a story were all three of them could be put together anyway. Were you to (or anyone) put Ron in Draco's picture I could envision, that Harry and Hermione would have to spend the most time soothing Ron's ruffeled feathers for the triad to even start, plus that fact that dear ol'mum would put the posh kosh on any relationship that the three tried to start. But i do deffently love what you have writen so far, getting worried on what's going to happen with Snape and Merlin. Im hoping that you have Harry kill him off in a very messy way. Please?! Preaty please?

Another Good chapter and very well written.I just had a thought about your saying that Dudley and his virginity and thought whether Dudley being the kind of guy he is has ever raped a girl or even had a girl friend....Anyways cant wait for the next chapter

Read up to chapter 8.

Absolutely DEAD beause that was so hoooooooooot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And you know, generally, I don't like the profuse use of the letter 'o' - but you deserve a LOT of them! I mean you really do. This fic is gooooooooooood. God. My good god. Just seriously. I think I've fallen in love with you.

Do you understand what that means?

It means I'm so tired, because I need my sleep. I've barely been sleeping recently. It's 2am now, and you have RUINED any plans of me SLEEPING because I'm going to have to save as many chapters as I possibly can onto disk, and go and read them on my laptop in bed! Awake. But I'm not going to complain because WOW.

I shall return later tomorrow, or some day soon, with an ACTUAL review that isn't a load of crap like this one.

Well, well, well... I must confess. You got me to review. This is only the second review I've left for an adult story. Ever!

I don't know... I've just never felt comfortable leaving them. Even though you have no who idea who I am, and I have no idea who you are, I've always felt... embarrassed to leave one. But this story has compelled me to.

I guess the best place to start is to tell you where my loyalties lie, to help give you an idea of how much I LOVE this story. First and foremost in my heart is Harry/Hermione. I'd rather read a G-rated H/Hr ship than a NC-17 with anyone else. That said, if the story seems promising, I WILL read NC-17 fics with other pairings as well. Actually, I'll read anything (M/F, M/M, F/F, M+/F+) as long as it is NOT Hermione/(males NOT Harry). For example, HP/HG/RW is OK, HP/DM is OK, HG/GW is OK, but RW/HG... NO WAY!!! Sorry for my rant... The point is H/Hr is my favorite, but I'm open to other things as well... with one notable class of exceptions.

That exception has generally ruled out HG/DM fics as a result. And to be honest, I didn't really miss them. The two of them get along SO WELL in canon that I didn't want to have to sit through more of that. So when I saw a HP/HG/DM fic, I decided to give it a try. After all, it was listed as HP/HG/DM, and not HP/HG and HG/DM.

All I can say is thank the Lords of Kobol that I did!!! This is one of the best NC-17 fics I've EVER READ!!! I've read plenty of H/Hr smut, so I should probably start with Draco. I love him in this story. He can still be the cocky prick (heh heh) that he always is, and yet he also shows a tender, vulnerable side that makes him human. But it's not so much that he seems such the wuss that your Draco couldn't be believable from Draco in canon.

Do I really need to comment on the sex? Yeah, I think I do... :-)

I love the fact that the three of them are truly in love with each other. For me, sex is that much hotter when the people involved have an emotional connection. Actually, now that I say that, I really am not a big fan of "Wham, Bam, Thank you ma'am!" fics. This is certainly not one of those stories. Even though they don't say "I love you" after each fluid exchange*, we all know that they do feel that way, and that really gets my blood flowing south. *that's just my weird sense of humor trying to exert itself... sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. ;-)

Another thing that I really like about this story is that the sex is unpredictable. What I mean is that until the party gets started, I rarely have any idea of who will do what (unless there's an obvious set up). Harry seems just as likely to be feeding his magnificent tool to Draco as his is to Hermione, and likewise with Draco. When Harry and Draco are together, Harry is just as likely to be on top as on bottom. In SOME stories, one of them usually is the dominant one. Sometimes, that just gets... boring.

I guess that is what I like most about the sex/relationship in this story: it is a true triad, they are all three equals. Sure, Harry IS the Dark Lord, and Hermione IS the Marlston heir, so where does that leave Draco? He is an equal because they CHOOSE to make him one. Again, for me, that really makes the sex SUPER hot.

And the sex itself... well... let's just say that I REALLY enjoy reading it. A few of your scenes, I have actually been able to see them in my mind, in great detail. Some people might say, "DUH!" but for me, I rarely actually VISUALIZE it. I think about it, I imagine it, but I rarely SEE it in my mind. Does that make sense? I was able to SEE Harry sitting on the edge of the prefect's bath, and I could see Hermione pass him off to Draco. That rarely happens. In fact, the ONLY other time it has happened was that one other story that I left a review for.

Oh, I almost forgot... (I think the blood was draining away from my brain)... this fic has a great story to it too, even without the sex. (GASP!!) Though I think the sex helps make Harry and Hermione's acceptance of Draco more plausible... but still, it's a good story without the sex. But don't you dare think I'm suggesting to drop it... it's a good story without the sex... it's a PHENOMENAL story with the sex!! :-P

So many of the HP stories out there, of any rating, any pairing, are your standard Light-Harry stories. A well written, Dark-Harry story is a refreshing change of pace, especially when it's a Dark-Harry fighting for the Light. Oooo... add a Dark-Hermione to that... (shiver, shudder).... I actually DID just shudder now!!! No clean up required, but wow... (deep breath)

So, I just wanted to say THANK YOU so much for this. I am SO eagerly waiting for the next chapter. I will mourn the day when this story comes to an end. I was thinking about what might be a fun way to end the story, assuming it ends with the destruction of Voldemort.

The final scene would be set with the three of them sitting around, discussing their plans for the future together. Eventually the talk turns to family. Hermione confesses that she wants a large family, since she was an only child. Harry and Draco enthusiastically agree. Hermione tells them that she has homework for them. Harry and Draco complain, but Hermione promises they'll enjoy it, especially implementing it.

She wants them research fertility spells, and learn how to cast a contraceptive charm so that only one of them can get her pregnant when they are ready (so she can still be with them both). She also wants them to guarantee the sex of the child. She tells Harry that she wants him to give her her first child, a daughter to carry on the Marlston line. She then wants Draco to give her a son, so they can teach him Quidditch, and do other 'male bonding' things. She then wants them to figure out how the two of them can give her a daughter that she would carry, but where Harry and Draco are the biological parents. "It would be the ultimate embodiment of the triad," she explains, "three children from each possible combination of the three of us." Plus, she'd love to see the two of them combined into a girl.

And finally, she says, if they're up for a fourth child, she wants to do it the old fashioned way, and to be surprised. Confused, still thinking about fertility and gender spells, Draco and Harry ask what exactly she means. Grinning, she says, "You know, the old fashioned way... no magic... first come, first served."

By the way, something I was wondering... did Voldemort kill Crookshanks in Chapter 44, or was that another orange cat. That half-kneazle seems to be a good judge of character in canon, so I would be surprised if he was sitting on Voldy's lap being petted. Just a tiny thing...
