Ohhh, I am liking Severus less and less as this goes on, AND i am begining to wonder if Malfoy is goint to end up being an ally. Jeez everyone is so freaking oblivious to Harry's pain. GRRR...

First of all, I want to thank each and everyone of you for taking the time to review! It means so much to me and I wish I could respond to all of you to say hi and thank you for reading!

Second of all, to wyadr. I'm sorry you didn't like the last two chapters. This is only a fictional piece and not canon. As for the plot, well it's not called "The Death of a Soul" for nothing.

For everyone else, don't despair. Sh*t will soon hit the fan. Trust me. *winks*

    Thanks again for everyone's support!

Alright, now I think you really have taken Harry too far into the abyss. He's not going to take that, and the stupidity of his friends is now so OoC that it borders on pathetic.

I really liked your story up until the last two chapters. It was interesting, it presented a well thought out problem/scenario. But now, too many OoC's are kicking in. The guy married to Severus is not Harry Potter. The girl hanging around with Ron is not Hermione Granger.

I'm afraid that, whilst I think you write well, that the OoC of the characters has caused me to lose interest in the story. It was easy enough to overlook the life-debt issues (like what about Arthur Weasley, Ginny Weasley, etc.) and the like. It was easy to overlook the Dumbledore stupidity. But when you start making the main characters OoC to the point of irritation, well - let's just say that I don't enjoy the plot/story any more.

I'm not actually being critical of your writing - it is excellent. Merely the plot itself.

Thanks for creating an interesting universe - but....

Wow. I just found this story (it was a rec on one of the groups I'm on) and I have to say it's well written and very moving. I at first wanted to say that it was sad. But sadness isn't exactly the right word for it. I believe it's actually a bit more desperate or despairing than sad. Please keep up the wonderful work--I can't wait for the next chapter.

The angst in this story is FREAKIN AWESOME! Chapter 20 made me cry all over the place. I loved it. My poor poor Harry.

im glad you changed it and made snape more... errrr him i guess
when i first read that i was a bit dissapointed that snape and harry wouldnt be all lovey dovey
but its more realistic this way really

    im really exited about draco!
i really want to find out about him!!
your clues almost make it worse because i want to find out!!!!

maybe ive been reading too many drarry's recently, but it really seems like draco and harry have something (lol, maybe im just imagining what i want...)

and people have commented saying that the title is coming through and harry's soul is dying
maybe im reading too much into it, but it doesn't necessarily have to be harry's, i mean it could end up being snapes for all i know!
    so def. keep updating!
my hols start soon, so im gonna be checking like EVERY DAY!! (well maybe not quite...)

    :D

Wow! intense. Harry's magic may be improving, but I bet he couldn't generate a patronus at this point.

Ooooo! Another update! I'm curious to see where you're going with this - I cannot imagine Snape is so blinded by his lust for Harry. It can't be anything else - if he really loved Harry (and he's already said he did NOT) he would have noticed something.

Wow, what a great chapter. Grrr, Severus makes me so mad, what part of no doesn't he get!! then everybody else not noticing that harry has given up on life. All he lives for now is to defeat voldemort and when thats done, you can already tell, Harry will be done to. Except Malfory, a facinating possibilty for a plot twist, will he be an ally? an enemy? a champion? I can hardly wait to see where you take this next.

Wow. I'd been sort of avoiding this fic for awhile, mainly because after HBP, my feelings regarding Snape were too convoluted for me to enjoy any fiction involving him.

It's not what I was expecting at all though, in a very pleasantly surprising way. It's very mysterious and just slightly off (intentionally so I believe) in a way that is quite intriguing. I haven't begun to formulate any ideas on what exactly is going on here. Knowing the way Snape has turned out in your other stories, it could be an array of possibilites.

At any rate, I am so glad that I did finally tune in and I will be impatiently waiting more! Great writing.

    Another chapter!...*explodes*

    ...

Oh, poor Harry- just b/c the sex made him respond does not mean it was consensual sex. Harry said "no", and thus Severus's actions were still non-consensual...grumble...I was yelling at the screen when Severus said, "mine"...and I said "No shit, sherlock!", like for times!!!

I'm wondering about the slash, I'm feeling there's definetly gonna be some..but not necessarily HP/SS...I mean, compared to Snape, Draco is a saviour...plus, I love HP/DM!!!

I can't beleive Snape is being so stupid...why doesn't he try looking at Harry's FACE for once!!! Severus keeps saying to Harry and himself how much he loves and cares for Harry, and how he wants to treat Harry as an equal, yet his actions are so riddled with hypocricsy, that the only way he himself cannot not have noticed is that he is stupid!

Harry Potter and the Goblet Of Fire Movie comes out in a week..*explodes - again*
