wow.. This is really good. I like it alot. Can't wait for more. This chick under Hogwarts is kinda creepy and William ...I just...Can I strangle him a bit? please? he is just too terribly annoying when around The Dark *sorry FUSCHIA* Lord...Although I really like that he seemed willing to look over them being out after hours and going along with Harry's excuse...even though it was totally see through and rediculus...so sometimes I like him he just needs to show some respect to Voldie in my opinion not that i want him changed I am just mildlty ranting about him..sorry I'm better now. Can't wait for more

Some versions of the legend say that these Stymphalian birds were vicious man-eaters.
The 2nd century A.D. travel writer, Pausanias, trying to discover what kind of birds
they might have been, wrote that during his time a type of bird from the Arabian desert
was called "Stymphalian," describing them as equal to lions or leopards in their fierceness.
He speculated that the birds Hercules encountered in the
legend were similar to these Arabian birds.

    ^^

These fly against those who come to hunt them, wounding and
killing them with their beaks. All armor of bronze or iron
that men wear is pierced by the birds; but if they weave a
garment of thick cork, the beaks of the Stymphalian birds are
caught in the cork garment... These birds are of the size of
a crane, and are like the ibis, but their beaks are more powerful,
and not crooked like that of the ibis.

    Pausanias, Description of Greece, 8.22.5

    The Erinyes

The Erinyes were birthed out of anger: Gaea's fury at Ouranos'
imprisonment of their sons, three monstrous giants with hundreds
of hands and fifty heads. Gaea and Ouranos also birthed three Cyclops
and a number of Titans; it was to these that Mother Earth appealed for help.

Only the titan Cronus was bold enough to take the challenge. He laid in wait
for his father and wounded him horribly. From his blood, the Erinyes and the
    Giants were born.

Three sisters: Tisiphone, Megaera, and Alecto. The Erinyes were the punishers of
sinners, called "those who walk in darkness." Weeping tears of blood and hissing
with hair of vipers, they would descend like a storm. As long as there was sin in
the world, they could not be banished.

The Erinyes have also been referred to as the Eumenides the Kindly ones, the
Potniae the Awful Ones, the Maniae the Madnesses, and the Praxidikae the Vengeful ones.

"Not even the sun will transgress his orbit but the Erinyes, the ministers of justice,
    overtake him."

Now, Nyx (the primordial goddess of night) gave birth to quite a bit.
Will she play a role in protecting Harry and Hogwarts??? Since she has
not vanished from the face of the earth. And, will Harry be wearing cork and
raising a polished shield for defense????

Where does someone come up with this stuff?
Is it a place I can visit?
    No?
Well, I'll just have to ride on your coat tails and see what happens.
So far, it's a wild ride!!!
