I have enjpyed reading this story and found the dynamic between the characters interesting. I did wonder - and continue to - why Severus wasn't more clear and factual in his warning to Albus regarding Julian. The facts you introduced later made it clear that he could have been. However, it was somewhat like wondering why characters in horror movies don't move into the nearest house of worship for the duration. You accept it and just enjoy the movie. And I did. But I found it interesting and disturbing reading this chapter, especially in light of your warnings. I think there is a great difference between a fluffy bunny and deliberate murder if a family member, who is a boy, who is helpless. That Severus could eliminate the grown threat of his brother who was actively trying to kill him is terrible but understandable. The other is murder and there is no way to pretty that up or justify it in any other way. At least not if someone is honest, and Snape has become a man who is painfully honest with himself and others. There is no way in which there couldn't have been some attempt made to 'reform' the boy from taking him to Albus to taking him to Saint Mungos to making him squib to obliviating him that oculdn't have been tried. If indeed that was neccessary. I agree with the reviewer who pointed out that Severus didn't know him, and neither did we really. Did I miss some act of heinous cruelty on the Hamish's part? But, in the immediate Severus could have body binded him and knocked him out. So, it couldn't even be said to be the heat of the moment. I have enjoyed your story and understand the death of Julian and the more ruthless aspects of Severus' characters. But there was no logical reason to explain this action and that doesn't serve the story. Instead, it begs the question of why I should care whether someone who is willing to murder his nephew should live or die? And to feel absolutely no remorse - well basically that makes his actions psychopathic or a sociopathic unless you are saying the feeling will kick in later when he has time to deal with it. And do I know what I am talking about? Yes, I was a soldier who is now a psychologist. I was never in combat myself, but I served with Vietnam vets and men and women who are currently cops and federal agents. And to a person, when they have spoken of killing, even the enemy, they have said that it stays with you and even when you know it's you or the person on the other end of the gun pointed at you, that there is guilt. The difference is that in combat or in police work, it is the job you must do and so there is the reality of that purpose. Although, self-defense and self preservation also act as buffers. There is also hatred, if you can convince yourself that you hate your antagonist then you are less likely to feel guilt. But hatred takes time to grow and you must make the decision that the other person has less right to live than you do.

Hey I just realized something. Bellatrix had wanted Snape dead and Harry captured so she could get all the glory for herself right? But Julius said he had been careless and might have easily killed Harry while trying to kill Snape. *laughs stupidly* I guess it is a little late to be wondering about that now. ^_^! I am guessing Bellatrix knew Julius had Harry. Wouldn't she have been pissed to know that Julius was trying to sell him off. She did want Harry right? Unless she did not know he was going to sell him that way. Well either way she got her heart ripped out so yay. ^_^! Did Voldemort know about this? He seemed to be warning Snape about it before he even went.

Wow now that was a huge surprise about Hamish. @_@ Was Julius having sex with him as well or was he just like disguising him as a sex slave so no one would wonder who he was? Well I am surprised Julius did not kill him when he was born. It came as an even bigger shock that he tried to teach him magic. I wonder if he truly cared for him and his mother. Hamish did seem to have an attachment to him. When I first read your warning at the beginning of that chapter I was like...crap this can't be good. I thought Snape was going to blow up and start hurting the slave boys or something was going to happened with Harry. It made me sad that he killed Hamish but I can understand the man's reasoning in all honesty. He did not want to take the chance that Hamish would some day come back to haunt him (like in your last fic where Snape showed mercy to Draco and it nearly cost him everything). The boy seemed angry enough about it. In all honesty you really don't know if Hamish is good or bad. Sure he stays with Harry like Paris but only because he was ordered to. The only thing he really showed emotion wise was disgust for Harry the first time he saw him. Not that I think he deserved to be killed but it is hard to judge his character as being good or not so we, like Snape, have no way of truly knowing how deadly he could be if released. It would have been nice if Snape had taken him in and tried to be a family with him but your stories are not the fluffy type so I don't think that would have worked. ^_^!

Poor Harry. Having to go through all of that. Looked at like a piece of meet with no clothes on. What really upset me was when he looked for his two friends and they were completely ignoring it. I know they really could not look but I can only imagine how alone and terrified he must have felt until he figured out one of them was Snape. Then the guy kicks him!!! I am hoping there was a reason for that and he was not just doing it for show. I figured that he was scared Harry would be drawn to touch him so he had to make sure he didn't. Julius might have figured out it was him. Oh yeah now I know why Harry was drawn to Snape all that time as well. ^_^ That was so great how Harry came to Snape instead of Julius. I was like haha you evil bastard take that!!! I was so pissed when he shoved Harry into the bookcase and broken glass. Yes that makes him look like such a big man to hurt an innocent boy because he is pissed. You know James seriously has no taste in men. @_@!

I love how ironic his death was. Killed by the knife his mother gave to Snape. He deserves no less though I wish it had been more painful. I guess it is hard for me to understand why Snape's father hated him so much. I don't know the complete past with them though. Guess he did not like that Snape was not totally evil and seemed weak. Stupid father. Glad Snape at least had a descent mother to look out for him. I am very curious at how Julius got out of being a death eater though.

Man Lucius is such an evil coward. Glad he faced Voldemort's anger for it though. I was hoping Harry was bloody because of Julius throwing him onto the glass but I figure Lucius was pretty rough with him because of the black eyes. *laughs even harder at Lucius' pain* This way of killing Voldemort seems very complex but with you they usually are. ^_^ Your so creative about stuff like this. I just hope he is dead. Then they can get back to Draco and lots of sex. YAY!!! =^_^= Both the problems will be gone.

Don't worry about the mistake. *puts pillow between your head and keyboard* It was not that major so no big deal. We all do stupid stuff. I remember once I was reviewing this person and I made the comment I can't help but wonder what is going to happen next since the pairing had already gotten together. About 5 minutes after I had posted the review I realized that is was a male pregnancy fic. ^_^!

Awwwwww your so sweet!!!! *sniffs and hugs* I love you too and your stories!!! I am going to make a harm for them!!!! Oh yeah and you accidentally put an l in my name. ^_^! But don't worry about it I am the queen of miss spelled words.

    Please update soon!!!!!

Oww, gotta say that the chapter 'Touched' was almost perverse, but I read it anyways. Does that make me a sadist? Hope not, I was also crying for Harry.

Gotta catch up on reading, seven more chapters to go......

That evil bastard!!!! I had been wondering if there was a reason he seemed to be spending a great deal of time with Harry and no others. After all if he kept having Harry so often he would become tired of him and the other boys would suffer from being ignored. Though I guess you did not say he was not being with the other boys as well. Anyway, that jerk was going to sell Harry all along so he wanted to get as much fun out of him as he could. Maybe the whipping was even because he knew it would be his last time with Harry and he wanted to mark him. *growls* That greedy evil man!!!! *takes what is left of voodoo doll and gnaws on it* I am kind of glad you did not have any more descriptive sex scenes with Julius even if he has still forced himself on Harry many times. It seems almost weird for Harry to be giving up so easily. I guess it is all the fault of the potion. It makes him desire something and Julius gives him the fulfillment of that desire so he feels a certain level of peace.

YAY!!! Voldemort was useful for a change. For some reason I got the sense he would be even before you wrote it. It is weird for me to catch on that quick. ^_^! When Snape was called I figured Voldemort would be pissed that someone trying to kill Snape and had stolen Harry. I was hoping Julius would have to face his wrath as well. haha. More suffering for him. It is a shame Snape had to do all that work for nothing though. Still it did make Julius look pretty stupid with the potion so YAY!!! Besides this is a much easier way unless Julius is expecting this? I never thought about that. But he does think Snape is dead I thought. Oh well all will be revealed soon enough. ^_^ I trust in your mighty wisdom!!! I can't wait to find out who hired Julius to kill Snape in the first place or what dealings with Voldemort Julius has had in the past.

I liked the whole hot spring scene. Water and naked young boys is such a sexy combination. =^_^= I am glad Harry has at least two friends especially seeing how jealous the others are of him. It is odd that Julius bought him all those clothes if he was just going to auction him off like that, unless it really is some kind of trap. For someone who seems to always be looking for a profit Julius does not seem to care if those servant boys die. @_@ *sniffs* Poor boys. I can't believe what that other boy said....about the other hunters that own people too and some being even worse. Waaaaahhhhh!!! Now I want them to be rescued too. My my Harry is being a naughty boy. Looking at all the others like that. Awwww penis size is not everything. Besides he is cuter on the bottom so it does not matter.

Eeeeks!!! Sorry!!! *puts hands over mouth and wages tail patiently*

I love this story so much!!! I would have its children if that were possible. ^_^! It is as suspenseful and beautifully written as anything I would expect from an author as good as you. I just can't wait to find out all its secrets you have been keeping.

    Update soon please!!!!

Oh my! Can Severus actually kill his brother?? Duh??, ya!!?? It just the way he'll do it is all and get Harry back.

Wonderful theatrics with Voldemort. Who did he actually kill? or will that be mentioned later?

Great writing and the story is devine. After each chapter, it seems I want even more.
