I'm not sure if this is really the end of Dumbledore. Voldemort didn't completely die off before. I just have a feeling that J.K. may have it that Snape used the potion the Draught of Death I think it's called, and that Snape and Dumbledore planned this 'fake' murder. Afterall, that potion was one of the potions boiling in the pot during the first day of potions. When I think about the past books, J.K. likes to give little clues like this at the beginning of a book and you don't find out their significance until later.

I still have hope that Draco will switch sides in the end. He couldn't get himself to kill Dumbledore.

As far as Lavender's "won won" I think she was trying to speak a form a cutsie baby talk, like gushy couples sometimes do, by substituting the R for W's . Won Won = Ron Ron

I don't think Dumbledore was OOC. He's always been a bit wacky at times. Anyways, these are just my opinions.

BTW, that was a sweet last chappie with Pansy and Draco.

I read HBP and I was thinking the SAME things! I was reading and all of the sudden I had maybe 10 pages left...and I was thinking "What the HELL?" That sucked so horribly how it turned out, nobody seemed right and just...ugh! As amazing as JKR is, I think I prefer the fan fiction. By the way, I love your story...I've never read anything that went so in-depth about Pansy...and I've never reviewed before haha but your comment just was exactly what I was thinking. Here's to hoping Book 7 fixes it all.

I totally agree with you. The story was riveting, but not Rowling's best...

*First, Ron and Lavender made me barf, although I know the only reason he dated her was because of Ginny laughing (attacking) at him for never having kissed a girl. And her stupidly telling him that Hermione had kissed Krum. (Hate Ginny) He then went out and acted like an ass (a teenage boy) and kissed the first tramp who gave him any affection...Lav. The only thing that made me happy was that he was thinking about Hermione the whole time and running away from Lavender any chance he could get.

*Second, Dumbledore is the most powerful wizard around beside Voldemort. He wouldn't get killed that damn easily unless, there was a reason for it. Also, his portrait was up in his office sleeping 'already' after he died and they hadn't even buried the man yet. Why is that?

*Harry and Ginny's romance was way too fast and came out of nowhere! He never gave ANY indication about even noticing her in the last few chapters, but all of a sudden, he's over Cho and jealous of Ginny and Dean?! Not believable.

*Lupin and Tonks, I love the idea, but he's acting like an ass since she obviously loves him and doesn't care if he's a Werewolf or poor or older. Fleur didn't care about Bill. I do think they will be a solid couple though.

    * And most importantly, I think Dumbledore knew Snape was going to do what he did and was prepared for it. And Snape, I think, is not the villian this makes him out to be. Remember, he had plently of chances to KILL Harry, Hermione and Luna, Flitwick, but he didn't. He only attcked Harry to stop him from chasing him AND he stopped the Death Eaters from Crucio Harry. VERY Interesting...

Sorry mate, i'm gonna have to go with the "you're crazy option". Dumbledore behaving like Luna? How did you get that? Are you talking about when he arrives at the Dursley's? Cause that's just him showing up the Dursley's complete lack of manners. Or maybe you're referring to the chapter where they visit Horace Slughorn and he comments on the Muggle knitting pages? Let me remind you, this is a wizard who's welcoming speech was "nitwit odment blubber tweak" (or something along those lines, i don't have PS to hand at the mo, sorry), he's not exactly you're average joe bloggs, he never has been.

I thought Ron and Lavender getting together was explained pretty well - lots of admiring looks from Lavender, Hermione pisses Ron off, he goes running to the girl who's been making soppy eyes at him for half the year. Makes a lot more sense than how some of my friends got together in secondary school!

Harry and Ginny...... c'mon, this is soooo explained. He sees her kissing Dean, and the green-eyed monster pops up. I think thats been brewing a while. And people don't always have romantic feelings for someone straight away, in my experience you can be friends with someone for years in a really platonic way, and then one day you look at them, and you want to fuck them against a wall!

Erm, i'm bowing out of the rest cause i'm really really tired and want to read some of your fab story before i go to bed! I think HBP is very much down to personal choice - it's fast becoming my favourite of them all, and i love how JKR's developed her writing - the style couldn't stay the same for this one, as so much of the story content is vastly different from the last 5 books.

Anyways, enough blabbering from me, have a nice evening/day (depending on what time zone you're in!), and please keep writing fab Pansy's story! I'm hooked!

accually i just had thought. What if Rowling wrote this to make it confusing. she couls have done that easily. Though it does seem like it's a fanfiction in a way.

Ron and Lavender got together because ron is trying to make hermione jealous and im only half way through reading it dumbledore will always be ooc because that's just him. i agree with you about the whole won-won. what the hell does it mean.i think harry has fancied Ginny for awhile but he just finally realised it. it is weird that he's over it and not shocked or whatever over it. accually lupin does seem a little ooc. not luna so much though. the minister creeps me out. and the new potions master creeps me out too. and i haven't gotten that far in Harry though to know about tonks and lupin soo...

Now here are my thoughts to the things you put in your A/N

Dumbledore is soooooo OOC in the first chapters... he behaves like luna! Dumbledore does seem a little strange but then again he's always strange
when the hell did ron and lavender start dating?? I have no fucking clue and I didn't like it! I didn't like how he was going out with her!
lavender saying "won-won"??????? Fucking werid. That girl has issues
when did harry suddenly develop feelings for ginny? (i mean, it could happen, but plz plz a little more explaination!) I feel that there has always been something between Harry and Ginny since the first book and he found out he had she had a crush on him. And like Ginny explained in the book, Harry never really got to see the real Ginny until his fifth year when she got over her school girl crush for him. He finally got to see how she really was as a person and Harry had loads of time to think about that and seeing Ginny and Dean kissing, well that just clairified his feelings for her.
harry is just over sirius' death!?!?!?!?! He wasn't really over his death, he sometimes couldn't even say his name when he was speaking about him.
Does Lupin seem a little OOC? Not really, Remus is going through a tramatic time in his life right now, I feel he can be however he wants
How about Luna? Luna was a little off in this book
the DADA teacher and the minister are a little.... wierd? Yes they were really werid, I would have rather seen Lupin comes back as DADA
Tonks and Lupin got together a little suddenly (agian, it could happen, but not that suddenly!) Tonks seems to have had feels for Lupin for a long time and by their discussion in the Hospital Wing, they had talked about her feelings for him before hand. How she liked him but he felt he was "Too old, too poor and too dangerous" for her. They must have talked about it when they left the Hospital wing and Tonks had convinced him just how much she loved him. I know Remus has probably always had a soft spot for her and loved her too but was too afraid to admit it.

Well those are only my thoughts.

I totally agree with you. I hated the fucking book. I loved the third one and fourth but that's about it. I don't really understand it. I mean I can't stand dumbledore or snape, and I love Harry/Ginny fics. So them dateing was great, but with the dumbledore thing and then Snape really being evil. Like come on. It was just complete bullshit. The way she has left it now is it's either going to be a happy ending with harry living in the seventh book or him and voldimort both dieing. That second one I think would be a bigger possibility.

I must admit, I have not finished it yet, I'm on page 457. It's almost like she was trying to placate us all, people want 1) Dumbledore to acknowledge that he was wrong to leave Harry at the Dursleys, 2) Harry as Quidditch Captain, with Ron and Ginny on the team, 3) Harry falling in love with Ginny, etc. This is not the woman who killed Sirius.
