Great story...your writing has lots of guts to it. Just one little thing...I noticed a couple of times when you refer to a person you use the word "that" instead of "who". It's just a little thing but drives me crazy. Thanks. Update soon please.

Ch. 4 Fantastic chapter! I loved every bit of it. The scene with Dumbledore was well done. Very poignant when Hermione didn't want him to leave. I liked the idea that the bully wasn't Snape's father, but his uncle. It would be just like JKR to throw something like that in. And it's an interesting idea that it was the curse from the ring which was killing Dumbledore, not the potion from the cave.

I love the descriptions of Snape's appearance. I'm not sure if you intended it as such, but it makes him more approachable for Hermione. He's not so much an authority figure to her as he would be if he were still in wizarding robes. (Yet she still has enough respect for him to address him as 'Sir'.) I like the way Hermione helped him (getting him food, giving him money, recognizing that he would need those things) while still respecting his dignity. She wasn't bossy or controlling. She just quietly took care of things. The dialogue between them was excellent. I liked it that she was more excited at the thought of his teaching her rather than Ministry people.

Snape's despair followed by resolve was well done too. I hope we'll be gaining further insight into his past private life. I like it that Hermione is going to have to do some scheming in order to keep meeting with him and handling everything. But most especially, I like that she still has feelings for Ron at this point. You haven't given in to the cliche thing of having her fall for Snape all at once. This will make it a much better and more realistic story in the long run. I rarely make requests of authors (because it's their story to write as they want), but I will this time. Please don't cop out and just kill Ron in order to get him out of the way, although if you've already planned that, I'll manage to endure it. :) But I hope you'll again take a more realistic approach and make the relationship an issue that must be dealt with.

Anyway, wonderful story. I'm on pins and needles waiting for the rest. ~~Vickie

Love the meeting between the two - very interesting dynamic shift from teacher/student to outlaw/handler! Can't wait to see how Ron (especially after book 6) fits in with her life right now. Hurry and post chapter 5!!

Ch. 3. You've got me completely hooked! I agree with all of Hermione's reasonings. I especially like the idea that because Harry isn't any good at Occlumency, that is why Dumbledore couldn't let Harry know the real reason he trusts Snape. Anyway, great story! Lots of humor mixed with lots of drama and angst. I can't wait for more.

Oh you are wonderful! You put all of my theories in this one! Unless JKR is loosing her touch, most of the theories that you have used must be true (shakes head, right?) I like the back door into Snapes mind and your ending has left us in expectation as to why Albus is there in his head! Great chapter - great story!!

I LOL about Narcissa! Is she a little kink monkey or what! Poor Severus, though, your muse is going to give him a heart-attack--LOL 4 orgasms in 24 hours! Ha! Ha! I'm really starting to wonder what our little Hermione is up to? and what the Golden Trio is up to? I would expect that they are all together. Thanks for the post! You've got a fine thing going here! Good luck!
