Ch 7/6 - thanks for the sweet father/son reunion time! I hope he doesn't forget to tell Hadrian about the changes he made to his will, or that he told his Grandmother Snape about him. Perhaps he should get permission to take Hadrian out on weekends, so they can go to Hogsmeade or Diagon Alley, spend more father/son time together. After all, Hermione had him to herself for eleven years; Severus only gets him a little now that Hadrian is in class all day. Thanks for updating!

I don't know whether to "Yippee!" in glee at Sev treating his son well or heave a vast sigh of relief that he's treating his son well. Maybe both. And I'm warmed by the fact that Sev is able to FEEL for his son.

I would like add my "smirk" at Mrs. Snape's faint. How delightful.

Also I'm flabbergasted that the "Golden Trio" hasn't demonized or made Sev out to be a buffoon. They boys in particular have never demonstrated much in the way of maturity.

I'm waiting, eagerly, to see what happens next. Thank you for updating so quickly.

LOL Gee, I wonder if Mrs Snape and Mrs Black are relatives...hey, probably the way the purebloods have all been intermarrying. Anyway, they certainly respond to similar situations in a similar manner. LOL I loved that she fainted...hufflepuff. hahahahaha

"For a woman who claimed she was nothing like her disgraceful son, she sure picked the wrong time to faint. "
    I loved that part. :)

Ch 6/5 - wonderful! I am so glad Severus acted quickly, taking care of legal stuff and notifying his mother. Now when he meets with Hadrian (lunch in his quarters?) he can show his son how much he wants him, get their relationship off to a good start. Thanks for updating!

In general, I am of the opinion that once a man gives his sperm away (ejaculates inside a woman) he is no longer entitled to any right to or over the results of that gift unless previous arrangements have been made, such as marriage or contractual agreements.

BUT I agree with Severus on this one, he should have been told. Of course he should have kept his pants zipped in the first place and failing that he should have made VERY sure that there would be no insemination. Particularly because any child of his would be his one and only. But Herminone is a very arrogant person and is absolutely convinced that she is the ultimate authority on all moral questions, never stopping to think about the cost of her self-righteousness to others. I wonder if she told Hadrian her affair with his father started because she dosed him with an aphrodisiac, a sort of rape. At least as far as she knows.

I am very pleased at the idea of Hadrian being a person of character who is able to stand up to his mother for what he believes is right. I hope your Severus is going to be as good a father as he can be to his son. Given Hadrian's desire for a father a simple lack of outright hostility might be enough.

All in all I find your story quite engrossing and want to read the next part as soon as possible. Please update soon! Also this is quite possibly the longest review I have ever done, which means that I am really into your story. Thank you for sharing.

Ah, once again you amaze me at how quickly you post such wonderful chapters. I'm never able to do that with my fics.
I can picture this so clearly and can quite sympathize with Snape on this one. Never having the chance to know his child as a baby would be heartbreaking even for Snape, but most of all he is not in controll if anything at present and that is not something he would take very well.

    WELL DONE

Ch 5/4 - boy, she really is a nasty piece! Her own son wanted to meet his dad and she REFUSED. Sounds like she pushed Harry and Ron on him instead. She is a control freak, and I sure hope Severus meets Hadrian ASAP to tell him Severus is taking measures to make him his legal heir and accepts him, etc., etc. I'd like to see Hermione get a taste of her own medicine - have Hadrian reject her to be with his dad instead for Christmas, etc. BTW - "Hadrian Alexander Granger" doesn't sound like a nice name - "HAG" for his initials, ugh! Poor kid, that's reason enough to switch to "HAS".
