The Dread Pirate Malfoy, huh? Inconceivable. I have been enjoying this story very much. I did notice that Ron asked that Hermione not take Draco away, not that SHE should stay longer. I like that you have them as adults, but not yet parents. They have all been through so much, they should stay up late, eat food that's bad for you, and get drunk at least 3 nights a week. Life is never the same after those incredibly demanding, all-consuming little people arrive. Nothing else seems very important anymore, but maybe I don't care because I ate, drank and was merry while I was young.

    More, please.

One of the most engaging H/D fanfics I've read. Well thought out, coherent, and oh so easy to read! Love it so far! :) Up at 1:30 when I should be in bed.

I really like their dating was the result of an unexpected event. No pining Hermione or Draco here, that has gotten a bit stale.

Your secondary characters are fleshed out nicely. I especially like Narcissa's and Lucius' biplay. Crookshanks' defection is a good touch. Poor Ron, someday he'll just have to accept, that yes his sister and Harry are having sex. Probably when their last child is born.

Draco's unexpected tenderness is wonderful, because it is private. I like that his sarcasm is still very much evident unless faced by Hermions's distress. Very realistic.

Just an incredibly lovely story. I can't wait for more!

Whee! Another chapter! And Halloween, to boot. How timely... Anyway, I loved it. The baby pic of Draco was hilarious! And the fact that Harry saw it... too funny. I also enjoyed the costume shopping. The fact that he couldn't get any of the StarWars terms right, or even "movie" right, was very amusing. And he wears her down... with his hopeful look... Yeah. I'd give in, too.

Nice little bit of angst in there with the meeting the muggle parents thing, but I especially liked the making up part. I found myself totally touched by Draco's obvious hurt at being put off like that. This line was so very good: "I just want a straight answer here, Granger. I

Loved it! Draco as a pirate.... phew! Course I also liked the first costume he picked for Hermione. I think it was supposed to be the Princess Leah one when she's the slave of Jaba the Hutt??? (I think) that would have been fun too. And the drunk slip of the L word from Draco --- yes, that was nice! Bet that made Hermione all warm and fuzzy. Can't wait for more!

Hi. I'm new to your story, so I'll just leave a 10-chapters-worth review today, and ask you to include me on the update list.

I don't even know where to start. Maybe with a confession. Here it is: I don't usually read stories with thin-waisted, long-legged, perfect-breasted Hermiones, Ginnys, Pansys; nor broad-shouldered, full-lipped, incredibly sexy Malfoys, Harrys, Rons. It really takes me a long time to see past that and let a good story take a grip on me. I started reading your story because Lorett reccommended (sp?) it and I'm certainly pleased that she did so.

Let me say that one of my favourite characters in the Harry Potter series is Harry Potter. I cherish friendship beyond anything else and I see Harry as the perfect portrait of friendship. And your Harry, so caring, and protective of Hermione has won my heart. But what I liked most about him was that he KNOWS. He knows Hermione and her virtues, her defects, her needs, her moods. He knows all of her. And I love that.

Another one of my favourite characters is Lucius. Mainly because of CoS. Jason Isaacs represented such a perfect Lucius Malfoy... But this Malfoy is just ADORABLE. His interactions with Narcissa are just price-less. I can so perfectly picture him as this sarcastic, funny, talented, meddlesome person. Bonding with his wife and child in such a way that only a loving husband/parent can. You've made a wonderful job of destroying canon Lucius and giving us a delicious fanon version of him and his wife. Bravo! And I mean STANDING OVATION. I almost fell off my chair when he's terrorizing a house-elf in front of Hermione and he turns around to say "He's new." OMG! Just soo Lucius but so new-Lucius at the same time. I think you're doing a great job with all your characters, but with Lucius it's simply perfect. Or the scene where Lucius and Narcissa are "grinning like Cheshire cats". Hilarious. "Have I not taught you over the years to play nicely with the girls you like?". People at my office actually stared at me. Soooo funny!

Besides your obvious ability at developing characters, I would also like to congratulate you on your ability of creating moods, of transmitting emotions. "He patted her awkwardly, finally caving at the sight of the weeping female and pulling her to him, wondering at the bizarreness of the situation". I could just see them. I could perfectly understand Draco's unease and reasons for moving. I loved that line. And taking advantage of that ability, I feel that you should have made the "meet the parents" scene last longer. I was already rubbing my hands together to witness (so to speak) a brilliant battle of the wits... and it was over too soon.

I'd also like to tell you that you got me worried at one point when Harry admits to having told Draco that he should ask Hermione out. I thought it was going to get all messy, that she would cancel the date, that Draco would have to fight to get on her good side again... but you skillfuly (sp?) spared us from that sort of un-needed twist. I don't see Hermione as such a clingy, irrational person. So, thanks for that.

And since I've come across Draco, I have to say I love your Draco. He's sexy, he's perfecto. I don't know if you like or even tolerate slash. If you do, I think you would enjoy a fanfic called "Ab Epistulis" by autumn-lecroix. Your Draco reminds me of that one. PLEASE do not misunderstand me. I just think they have the same over-all type. When the sexiness doesn't come only from being handsome, but from power, wit, culture. The story is also strongly based on some epistular conversations between the main characters... and I might add here that I enjoyed very much the funny letters, even if few of them, that went between Draco and Hermione.

As for the sexy love scenes, you're also doing a wonderful job. "overcome by the sensation of being surrounded by the beautiful little witch he had come to adore"................... It simply left me without words.

Please don't forget to include me in your mailing list, as I'll be eagerly looking forward to chapter 11.

    Much love,
    accio.

I found this story via someone's favorites, and am thankful for it. This is great! I love Hermione's innocence and awkwardness, it's so very realisitic. Narcissa is a delight to read as well, and Draco, Merlin, he's delicious. This is a very cute and sexy story, with delightful moments of humor and drama mixed in. Bloody fantastic, I can't wait to read more. Thank you for sharing. ~ElizabethJade
