HOLY FRIGGIN A!!!! YOU EVIL EVIL WOMAN, YOU!!!! Im so excited to see that there is another man interested in Hermione. A damn threesome would be so hot, but *shrugs her shoulders* not everyone is into that type of thing. Marcus is just so fliggingly hot. Yes I know, I said flinggingly. It must be the dragon thing... :)

How can you be petering out when you are at the best part? Dueling dark wizards over the maiden fair (ok, not so maidenly anymore, and sort of drunk off her ass, but let's not quibble shall we?). And then, to the victor goes the claiming of the witch. Another scorching chapter to look forward to.

Still reading, still hooked and love the way you portray Hermione, Severus and now Marcus. Just one thing - I'm assuming you're American, because anyone in the UK knows cider is made with fermented apple. It's usually more alcoholic than beer, can be much more alcholic than wine, and is drunk by the pint. Try http://www.farm-shop.co.uk/ and click on Cider & Perry Collection for details (I like this place, I tried 10 different ciders and 6 perrys in a thimble sized cup, and nearly staggered out of the shed :D)

Oh no! It was going so well! I can see it now: Severus is going to hear that Hermione and Marcus are going on a date, and he'll guard himself even more and think that Hermione doesn't care for him. Meanwhile, Marcus will convince Hermione to drink wine, she'll do something she'll regret and barely remember, but she'll tell what she DOES remember to Severus, and they're reunion will be delayed yet again!

Or, alternatively, maybe Marcus will only *try* to convince Hermione to do something she would regret, but she'll resist, and he'll become violent. And Severus might come to the rescue?

I realize that I'm most likely 95% wrong about what I think might happen, but it's fun to think about. I love this story!

Can I just say that Severus' outpouring of affection was one of the most romantic things I've ever read? It's right up there with, "You had me at hello." Wonder what will transpire when Hermione and Marcus go dancing?
    keep up the writing!

I had to smirk when you wrote about Hermione thinking of going to see Severus right away but then deciding to wait...hahahaha imagine if she found him sleeping instead of languishing after her.

Oh dear, That Marcus just doesn't know when to quit...he is a poor loser. I hope to heck that Hermione talks to Severus and fills him in before she goes with Marcus. Surely Severus wouldn't be fool and just let them go alone. A nice disillusion...notice-me-not spell whatever would be in keeping. Perhaps Severus should mention she might wish to wear her special jewellry as well. Ahhh, the possibilities.

Ms Figg, I haven't mentioned lately how very much I enjoy your writing. It is addicting and I really hope you have another in mind when this one finishes.

This is a great story- I'm loving it. And it's great how you've got your readers craving a bunch of contrary things at once; we want to see Hermione with Marcus, but we want Marcus to get screwed out of everything, and we want Sev and Hermione back together (in all the ways!)...and now you've got us fearing and salivating for the moment Mr.Delaluci tries to 'get his peice'. Why do I suddenly feel that Hermione should dress for dancing and include her anti-deatheater bracelet? Can't wait for the next chapters- good writing!

I really like your storries, especially that which belong to 'A Matter of Matrimony'. I like how you portray Severus, it's a lot how I imagine his character and actions. I like the turn this series of storries took. First when I read 'What was I thinking - Part I' I thought, "Well, okay it's a PWP" and I only read it, when the second part appeared. Suddenly it started developping a back-story, although there was still a lot of sex. But 'A Matter of Matrimony' is great. The new character gives it so much more depth... and Snape's revelation in chapter 16 made me cry, well almost...

P.s. It's great that you are so fast with your updates.

Ms Figg, you break my heart then put it back together all to piss me off. That sentence may only make sense to me. I sense an ass kicking for Marcus. The only question is, who will be the ass kicker, Severus or Hermione.

Oh, I hope Hermione wears her charms on the "date" I really hope she does!!! I have some faith in her abilities without them, but with Marcus' background....

Or maybe Severus will follow them.... oh oh oh... damn it, my mind is working overtime... please update soon so it can stop!

WOW when that wizard spills his guts, he spills his guts. Too bad he hadn't done that earlier in their relationship because he has now overwhelmed Hermione in much the same way that she overwhelmed him when she declared her love for him. You wrote that very well and very convincingly.

Gotta love Eli and his elvin powers.
