I can't express enough how much I'm loving this story! Poor Draco breaks my heart and I want to beat up Lucius to a pulp! But at least he got Harry there and he will do wonders for Draco! In the meantime I'll just be anxiously awaiting the HOT BOY LOVING to start!!!

    Hi!^_^

*The story hasn't been abandoned, Rena! This week has been particularly harsh in RL*

    I'm sorry to hear this!V_V
Please, take you time and post the next chapter when you are ready, don't compromise the quality of the chapter with unnecessary rush! Honestly, I don't understand people, who are thinking, that the authors need to cast aside their real lives, families, work and/or studies and spending their time writting the stories, only because the said stories are so good that readers, qiute literally, "can't wait for the next chapter"!

*I've been writing crappy drabbles to keep the words coming*

Very wise of you! When the time will come, and you'll feel, what you know, how to put everything togrther to make a chapter, you'll have enough materials to compose the chapter from!

*while I fight with this monster plot.*

Dear, and what have you expected?!
After all, you didn't take some used and overused cliche, changed some names and locations and produced a tipical fic, which people would remember as "one of that category", you are trying to work on something new (suppose, you know, how rare untrivial plots are in HP fandom nowdays?) and unusual, this is always difficult. But, frankly, I've no doubts you are quite capable to do it.

*Your musings have been most inspiring!*

    *blush* Thank you!^_^

*They force me to be very careful when I'm writing, because I don't want to screw up with something I didn't plan thoroughly enough*

Huh? Actually, so far, you haven't screwed up anything! Remember, Dumbledore was fond of saying "Everything will be known in due time" (or someting like this^_~)? When people are thinking, that your characters' behavior are odd or contradictory, just don't forget to give them, somewhere in the several next chapters, a very good, solid reason for this type of the behavior. It's even more interesting, than if everything was reasonable and logical from the beginning. Intrigue and everything, you know...^_~

*only to have your meticulous eye catch it!*

And then you can take an advantage of it and write the unexpected explanations for the seemingly ordinary events!^_^
For example, the magical contract. The possibilities are simply endless: Lucius assume one thing, Harry, after he'd understand, what's going on, would assume another, but the magic of the contract itself doesn't care, who assumed what, it would work...
And *this* my dear, is up to you, how it would work!^_^_^
    You have a win-win situation here!^_^_^

OK, I need to go, but if I'll have an internet access tomorrow (and I hope I will), I'll explain, why I'm so sure, what, if Harry managed to make Draco alive again, the first thing Draco would try to do is to die on the spot^_^
    Cheers!

The story hasn't been abandoned, Rena! This week has been particularly harsh in RL, that's why there hasn't been an update. Hi! Of course, to find your other story was better, than the lack of updates in general, but I *really* hope you'll not abandon this particular story. Like I said, I've never met a fic with the plot, even remotely resembling yours, and it would be a shame, if the story with such a potential will remind unfinished...

Well, if Draco, as in canon, has become a Seeker in his second year, *he* was the person, who replaced Harry on the team after Harry finished the school.

On the other hand, if I admire Lucius' skills, could I believe, that he was stupid enough to create such a useless contract? Hardly.
One little loophole is OK, he is just a human, after all, but the document in general?...
And then I remembered, why the contract would become so disadvantageous for Lucius himself, on the first place, and understood...
Well, believe me, or not, but it looks like Lucius never even considered the possibility of Draco being alive again!
If I'm right, "to cure" Draco (by Lucius) means to stabilize his condition and improve it enough, to make it possible for Draco to procreate! After that... Honestly, I'm sure, that, having a normal grandkid or two, Lucius wouldn't be interested in his son's *existence* anymore...

Actually, I admire Lucius Dark Arts' skills. Bringing Draco back, he redintegrated his body (which, after several years in the grave, was in a quite bad shape, I suppose), preserved his intelligence and personality and even was able to give him access to his magical resources, and said resourses, even limited, were good enough to let Draco to be accepted as a Hogwarts pupil. Quite different from the usual product of the Nectomancy, mindless cankered body, right? So, we must admit, that Lucius is an ecxellent Necromancer and a very powerfull wizard.
BTW, Draco, considering his genetic background, has a very good potential to become the one as well... If Harry would be able to help him.

Hey, it seems like people are *really* disappointed, that Harry was so careless with Lucius... But fear not, I re-read this part of the fic and I can prove, that Harry *DID* read the contract from top to bottom! And even more than once!
    Let's see:
    1) Harry is the Slytherin and he hasn't trusted Lucius Malfoy, thus, he had been twice as careful as possible.
    2) Harry's question:

Guess what?! Yeah, it's me again!^_^_^_^
I just figured out, why Harry is the star of Draco's dreams. ^_^
You see, if Harry is 22 and Draco is 16, it means, that the year Draco came to Hogwarts to be sorted into the Slytherin House was Harry's last year at the school! Of course, Harry doesn't remember Draco - just how much 17 year olds you can name, who were paying the close attention to the first-graders? Not too much, I suppose.
On the other hand, I wouldn't be surprised, if Draco, along with others younger Slytherins, knew almost everything about the powerfull, breath-taking, clever (and, on the top of everything) Seeker of the Slytherin, the Head's of the House favourite student, the pride and joy of the said House. So, it's quite natural, that, became older, Draco needn't look for the object of his fantasies too far...^_~

I hope Harry and Draco get to interact soon. I already feel sorry for Draco though, sheesh he's a corpse. Necrophilia doesn't do it for me, so i hope this story doesn't swing too much into that area... anyway, I like the character you gave harry and seeing his family dynamics is fun too. Hummm lucius is quite the bastard isn't he, really got harry good with that contract. Curiousity is all sturred up can't wait for an update!
