Perhaps it was the PWP that wouldn't die but, we have all loved it tremendously! What a bittersweet ending! I promise you this....I will not normally read through a story with this many chapters. You have, however, kept them enthralling, heart-rending at times, edge of your seat thrilling and alive with possibility. My praise to you may sound OTT but, believe me...it isn't! Thanks for such a great story and let me know if you wish to collaborate on one. I have such a wonderful idea but, I would like some help with this one.

OK, Snape's gotta be Snapey. That's a given. How about Hermione's primordial powers clearing out enough of the crap occluding Snape's soul that he realizes that he's really better off with her? BTW, the Snape in your numbered series is really stellar. You've given other S/H shippers so much to live up to.

    Happy Holidays to you

Congratulations on a wonderful story! Fantastic. The ending fit (I couldn't see your Snape falling on his knees and professing his love - for that matter, any Snape doing so), but maybe the epilogue will have a bit of resolution? Either way, great job!

Great story, as usual! I have a suspicion that Snape's going to really miss Hermione, even in spite of his cold heart. Am anxious to read the epilogue!!

Firewall: Until I found all of you wonderful readers and rvviewers, I wrote poetry because I could not sustain writing a whole story, much less a novel. I believe the only reason I am able to write these stories is because you all encourage me to keep going, like a cheering section. Without you guys, I probably wouldn't get past 3 chapters on my own inside a month. I suppose I should try. Yet it takes time to get published, and to be honest few can make a living at it without having something to fall back on. Right now, I need a job I can do from home. I can still write but I can't pay the mortgagw with completed chapters. lol. Now THAT would be a solution. Anyway, thank you very much for your belief in my abiliies.

AND...oy! Some of you guys just don't want Snape to be true to himself do you?! Just PILE the guilt on me for letting him leave why don't you?! Megan, I knew this would happen. See! Many HG/SS shippers have sweet sticky centers and need happy endings to feel all is right with the world. Snape would blast all of you infernal cupids! lol.

You guys have NO idea how hard it was to keep Snape snapey and after all that work, you want me to turn him into a honeybun. lol. All right, maybe not a honey bun, but to fall for Hermione. Gods Or have me continue to write sequels until they do fall in love. Snape isn't the only one who's merciless.

Well, let's see how tht epilogue goes, because I'm not writing a sequel. But don't expect the old "I realized I can't live without you." That's NOT going to happen. But thanks for all the reviews. It's really nice to see you cared about the story so much you complained. And thanks to those who didn't complain. Let me see what I can do here.

Last five chapters: wonderful! the entire method of showing Dumbledor up was inspiried way beyond PWP. Really fun to read. Love the whole story. The final chapter was very well done, also. Looking forward to epilogue.

Ms Figg, I know you asked us not to respond here but I'm going to. Have you considered going with your strength...writing? It would probably mean you leaving us but have you thought of writing romances...a popular publisher certainly offers enough scope that you should be able to find a format that would suit your writing style. After reading your work and knowing the speed with which you can write, you should consider this option.

Oh man, I can't believe I suggested that. I would hate to lose you here but I know what it's like to need work.

Ch 55 - Wow! That was one hot final time together! was impressed that he took the time to look and see what she needed and I was even more impressed that he left. So will we know if she finds someone who even comes close to the really perfect union that they had? It seems a shame for a primordial to be alone with all that power. I know she probably could have persuaded him with her power to stay but she was strong and didn't or at least I don't think she did. Who knows, you may have him come back and offer himself to her. Waiting for the epilogue.

Sorry, I have not reviewed for a while, but I am ill.

    Great fantastic story!
    To me, your best yet.
For the end...yes, you warned us..but...sigh...

Is there a possibility to bribe you into writing a sequel?
A sequel in which Snape learns that he is capabel of ...maybe love is the wrong word...
A sequel in which Hermione and Snape find together?
    Please?
    Pretty Please?

This was great! I loved that you kept Snape in character until the end and didn't make him suddenly fall in love with Hermione. And I also love how mature you made Hermione. I once read a fanfiction (which was Harry/Draco) in which Harry was in love with Draco while Draco didn't love him back, and he couldn't (or didn't want to) control his powers, so he changed Dracos personality so that he fell in love with him. It was very sad. There were some times in this story when I was afraid you would go this way, and I'm happy you didn't.

Brava!!! Brava!!! As always Ms Figg you exceeded my expectations. I agree with Beetle Juice though this definitely needs a sequel..maybe a trilogy?? (wink wink..hint hint). Await with bated breath for the epilogue.

Have a Merry and Safe Christmas!
